The Daily Advertiser just keeps getting worse and worse. It has really taken a nose dive in the last few years. The dearth of news in the Sunday paper is shameful at the price being charged. The daily editorial section is downright embarrassing.... more akin to a small town newspaper. It 's like some out of towers have hijacked our city's paper and could care less about giving us quality coverage. Ditch your "in-depth" stories and GIVE US SOME NEWS!!!

Disappointed! TheDailyAdvertiser is easy access to the paper but the paper doesn't have an Obituary section or a Search section.
Some of the sections are not available such as obituaries and other sections such as Weddings & Engagements have not been updated in months. Other articles are months old. Only the top news is worth looking at.
The new formatting of the online paper is a big step in the wrong direction. The old view of the pages was much better. please go back to it.
Can’t complete basic functions like cancelling a subscription or cancelling a credit card.
I like reading our local news online (instead of watching on TV)
because I can read what I choose after seeing the headlines! The only reason I am not giving our local newspaper 5 stars is because of the obituaries! I was born and raised here and I like to keep up with who has died! The obituary section is not easy to read and constantly throws me back to the main page. This is probably my error but it happens too easily. I know you don’t post all deaths probably because the cost is too high for some people or they don’t care to have them in there but if you would figure out some kind of way to organize it make it easier to go from one obituary to the other, etc….it would be helpful to me!
For a chain paper they do a good job on local news. Reporting could be a bit more complete. The stories are on the short side and lack detail. That’s true of most local papers these days.
App gets hung up when you come back to it, donut doesn't spin at the top. Probably just a bug. Great looking app though, good work.
It is good, but there are a few problems like the obituaries. Problem opening them sometime and if you view an obituary, you have to back to the beginning. Overall, it is a good app.
As a subscriber to the paper version, I find this's is ad great source for breaking news. Find myself accessing it several times a day.
Works well; it's user friendly. Easy access to the local news as it is printed and before the paper arrives. See someone else's long review from Nov 9 last year as to why I couldn't give five stars. (In my own words, I prefer to be able to see even more details that come with the print edition.)
Overall, it's a good, user-friendly app. I love that almost all of the articles found in the paper can be read online the evening before. I also like how each category is broken up into sub-categories for easy browsing. However, there are some things found in the paper that aren't found on TheDailyAdvertiser . For example, the box scores with stat breakdowns for high school sports that I love to read in the paper are not available on TheDailyAdvertiser . I would really like to see those things offered on TheDailyAdvertiser as a "clickable" article or maybe an e-edition within TheDailyAdvertiser that's more user-friendly than the one through the website, which doesn't seem to work well on my mobile device. Overall, thumbs up for The Advertiser's app.

TheDailyAdvertiser used to be the absolute worst. Although now somewhat better, The Advocate app is the benchmark for local papers. Advertiser, please get your act together ....
To allow breaking news alerts allows multiple "alerts" for just mundane stories. I can read the paper.
I really enjoy TheDailyAdvertiser. Helps me keep up with Cajun Country so dear to my heart.
