Honestly BandFriend is a good app. The issue is no one is one this and BandFriend doesn’t allow you to filter by location. I’m from the Boston area. I’m not starting a band with people across the country or in another country altogether. BandFriend seems rather lonely because it’s very difficult to find people nearby. Just fix the location issue and get more people on here and it’ll be a solid app.

I just got this, and one annoying thing is that you can’t link any social media’s other then music platforms, for example I cant link Instagram so I’m unable to see who these people really look like. Also it would be helpful to filter by skill Yoo and if there was a section to select your band inspirations because just “metal” or “rock” is too bland

Very user friendly & detailed profile inputs. Overall, this is a cool app. However, filters aren’t accurate enough; even though they are very specific. Not every musician, composer, songwriter will be “one dimensional” in terms of skill set; or fall into one or two genre boxes… on purpose.

Still, I recommend BandFriend to anyone who is dedicated to connecting with like minded musicians/composers/songwriters, or people aiming to be visionaries to build something meaningful with others; using the universal power of music.😎🙏

Only complaint is lack of linking of social media accounts to know who these people are. And if they're real. Seen some activity in BandFriend but I understand it’s gonna take time before enough people get into BandFriend . Imma be honest I don’t expect much at all from these kind of apps but this one seems to be the most active. I think.

All independent Artist need to check out BandFriend. Networking is the key to success in any business, and yes your music is a business. I have made some great contacts. Dj Dr Wattz

The only thing bad about BandFriend is that there aren’t a lot of people on it. But it’s great for connecting with other musicians and finding bands, band members, jam buddies, or anything you need!

There seem to be many locals using it. Just started contacting people. Will update with more use.

Very user friendly. I’ve only used it for a few days and have already identified a handful of prospective musicians to work with.

Flint is onto something huge. Finding musicians is incredibly easy, whether you want to jam or tour. Love that I can also use it as a playlist to hear awesome local artists. Keep it up guys!

It’s a good concept but there’s not much people around me that use BandFriend, I’m sure if more people knew about BandFriend it would be a lot better, overall, it just need exposure.

I am a working gigging Drummer in DFW and have used this multiple times to find members for projects or just to fill-in gigs, I like that the platform is free and I don’t have to pay to talk to other musicians!! great platform I’m glad to be on it in the early stages. Can’t wait to see what they do with it and hopefully they just continues to grow.

I’ve tried to get in touch with several musicians with BandFriend and never get a reply . Never got a reply from the support staff either. There is no way to tell if people are even active. Don’t waste your time with this one

Just started using BandFriend , haven’t really connected with anyone yet that fits into what I’m looking for but I see a lot of posting on the feed . Looking forward to getting more into it .

Looks like this might be a good place to find musicians as long as we can get a good number of people locally and have people respond. I think this is a good format.

Only thing I would suggest is to raise the character count for the bio section. Whatever the max character count is now is way too low. But other than that it’s a great app.

I highly recommend BandFriend because as soon as I downloaded BandFriend. I’ve had a lot of responses from people locally and all over. The people on here are legit and are willing to help you or vice versa. Thanks this app I’m so enjoying BandFriend and will just use this one and only app and remove the other ones.

I can link my music.
Check out music from other people.
Connect with other artists through messages.
Put out a post for all local musicians too see.
Only thing is there’s not a whole lot of user activity. It’s slim pickins for connection.
Regardless the functions of BandFriend are more than I would ask for. Just need more users.
