It use to warn me when bad weather comes but it no longer does that, every now and then I get a flood warning. So I’m not sure what happened. I’ve looked to see if KFOR has another app but it keeps giving me this one which really doesn’t work.

This is the stated purpose of 4WarnMe .

As a layman, it seems 4WarnMe , with many users, asks for the most information to be passed over cellular nets during periods of peak bad weather. 4WarnMe slows noticeably or ceases to update during those times.

Therefore it would seem smart for the developers should actively seeks ways to maintain weather awareness while using minimum bandwidth. How hard would it be to stream text only of the 4Warn TV team? On the TV broadcast, they provide street to street or in the hinterlands, location to location, progress of tornadoes. Cellular coverage is worse in the rural regions. The affiliated radio partber, KTOK, has to lower signal strength at dark so rural users lose that source of the repeated signal. NWS radio gives quarter county resolution of stirm conditions at best.

Simplify the stream, and provide a text stream for peak demand times that can make it to users. Weather awareness is the point of 4WarnMe .

I hate the new updated app!! I loved the old version better, because of the weather app. Its radar was awesome. I could zoom in and see exactly where rain or hail etc was at. Down to the road it was at. And it took up most of my screen. NOW its very small cant zoom in as much. Hard to navigate

I use to love this weather app! It was my go to app for weather. But after the recent update it changed and I hate it now!! Please go back to the previous look of it! Unfortunately I have to find another one now. Why mess with something that was great? Why change it??

Tis used to be a fairly good weather app. The latest update has introduced obtrusive ads that that suddenly take over your entire screen and move you to 4WarnMe store selling additional weather apps. So obnoxious I am deleting it immediately.

When I open 4WarnMe 4WarnMe does bring me to the home screen of 4WarnMe . I waited 15 min and it still hasn’t loaded. Other than that 4WarnMe is very helpful. But if I have an emergency then I’m not going to be able to see what’s coming or passed.

The weather daily forecast will indicate a daily high or low. However, when viewing the “hourly” forcast, it will often be different. For instance, today the high/low shows 51/39. But the hourly forecast within 4WarnMe shows that the low will be 32 degrees for several hours of the forecast. It doesn’t match... If I had not looked at the hourly, I would not be aware of the possible freeze to cover my plants! Frustrating how often this occurs.

4WarnMe was ok until the latest update. It is NOT user friendly and confusing how to change things. The radar is frustrating to adjust.

4WarnMe continuously won’t open. Delete it, reopen. Works for a few days then a no go. The other channel 4 app does not have this problem and no other app on my phone does this just this app. Fix it.

Fantastic app, but the deviation from the format of your website to the new look of the map and storm front symbols is tragic. The colors are not as distinctive complete with less precision. Please at least give an option for a legacy look to be consistent with your website. The new look is terrible! Other than that, please keep up the otherwise great work!

4WarnMe never opens the first time I press on it. It will sit on the “Loading” screen. I have to exit out, shut down 4WarnMe , reopen it a 2nd time, and then 4WarnMe will work. Everything else works fine, it’s just the initial boot up that doesn’t work.

4WarnMe is great and informative when it works. I’ve had problems since the last update, it keeps saying I’m not connected to WiFi when I am, and then it’s not working when I don’t have a WiFi connection-which shouldn’t matter since I’m on an LTE network. I’ve tried deleting it and attempted to re download it but nothing has worked. About to just delete it and be done with it at this point.

I’m not able to get the lock banners to show up and widgets also.

I really like the interface for 4WarnMe. I do like that there is a live broadcast. A countdown doing the breaks of the live broadcast would be a good feature.

I generally watch News9, but KFOR definitely has the best weather app. Their radar is also way better than most other weather apps. News9 fails majorly with their radar in their app which during snow storms and thunderstorms is crucial especially in Oklahoma. Being able to read a Doppler radar clearly can mean getting you out of a path of a tornado or driving into a snowstorm!

I love the radar on this weather app. It highlights and shows where the warnings are exactly.

Just loaded and looked around your weather app !! Excellent graphics !! The whole app is very nicely done !!! I’ve been watching you on KFOR for years — now I can take you with me !!! What a happy day !!! Mike Morgan is #1 !!! Started watching him on KOCO decades ago !!!

If you know Oklahoma you know the weather changes a lot! This is the most up to date and specific app that was ever created! Download it!

This is the only weather app I trust. I have downloaded weather bug, channel 5, 9, and fox, but I gave found 4 Warm Me to be most accurate. I even watch it for my sister in northern KS when they are having bad weather. It’s ALWAYS spot on!!

Great, clear radar with options you can pick to display. Easy to navigate. I also use the extended forecast option to view the upcoming weather for the week. 👍👍

Won’t open most of the time have deleted it and reloaded it on my iPhone five times works a few times and then it will not open. Never had this problem before the latest update

4WarnMe is so frustrating! It is getting to be so unreliable. It won’t open when I really need to see what’s going on weather wise in our area. I have deleted it & reloaded it numerous times in the last month. Can’t you guys fix it??!!

When storms are approaching 4WarnMe doesn’t work, just shows the 4Warn screen and never loads. I’ve tried to reload with no success. Guess this faithful 4 fan will have to download another weather app 😕!

While I appreciate the concept, it seems there are still some kinks that need to be worked out. While the video and audio work great, I cannot say the same about the push notifications. If they are received at all, they are well past the point of being an alert as the storm has already passed. I received no push notification for the Woodward storm, however my mother (who lives in Arkansas and downloaded 4WarnMe in order to stay aware of the safety of her family) did receive a push notification. As advertised, 4WarnMe claims it will alert you to when you need to watch the live feed. From my experience this past weekend however, I would say that is not an accurate claim.
