Articles need to be up to date.

App fails to load info 1/2 the time

Worked ok for first week , then loads up but no info is given about your search

App never has opened

:( always closes itself...

The ads on WhittierDailyNews are ridiculous. U can't scroll though articles without calling advertisers. VERY LAME

App not working

I can’t seem to get my app to work. When I go into my WDN app, it loads forever and nothing comes of it.

I paid for no ads and there are ads when I scroll

Unhappy

For some reason I'm not getting up to date news. It's news from 2days ago. Just stated happening about 2weeks ago

Older version was better

No more California News, National News, Weird News. This update is lacking so much from the older version.

Poor structure and in appealing

WhittierDailyNews is clunky at best. Many articles don't load properly. No way to manually refresh. Look around at other news app for some better ideas then tap the programmers for better workings.

Not good

Really a disappointing app. Most of the time it crashes or you have to watch lots of ads. There are so many better ways to get news than this piece of junk that you should avoid this at all costs.

Old news!!

I try to look for news updates regarding important news like the attempted kidnappings on the "today's news" section and the top story is 6 days old. So much for "today's" news. Update please!! Don't have an App if you don't have the time to run it!!

Upset

After update it seems to crash every time I open it ! Please fix

Just downloaded WhittierDailyNews , went to the story I was looking for & no story would come up. Tried it twice! :(

No local news articles

Local news articles are empty when you select it to read. Everything else is fine. Good idea, but two stars for missing articles on what WhittierDailyNews is intended for, providing local news articles not just a briefing

Old news

Just like their newspaper old info.

NEVER UPDATES!

Great reports, but no videos, and stories are NEVER updated!! BOOOO!!

Can't always read the news

It sometimes asks for log in for their newspaper subscription. You can go to Google & get Whittier news in a different format - same articles!

Disappointed

Used to love WhittierDailyNews. Came back after the update to look at prep sports and found that I can't with all the ads I'm forced to watch popping up ! You're better off on the actual website.

Used to enjoy WhittierDailyNews for local news but have not been able to read articles for some time. When i try to select an article it sends me to a sign in page. Ugh I deleted WhittierDailyNews

By simply going to Settings and selecting E-News the user can browse the Digital Replica of the day’s paper.

Instead of going back to the main section to find more articles, users have the option to simply swipe, immediately opening other articles in the Section.

To follow select follow at the article level and related articles will gain relevancy and be shown more frequently.

The user can select what topics they want to be notified about which makes for a much less intrusive experience.

A user will be shown articles on topics they are following.
