We were told for many years if you loose power go to your phone and turn to your app. Well this has proven NOT because even though you have a generator the cell towers quit working so we found out we are in no better shape since Katrina sad to say because technology has improved beyond anyone’s imagination. So as it speaks now you better have a little transistor radio close by. The only station on was WWL radio 870 . But the only thing they wanted to talk about was the small talk about neighborhoods.
We need to learn from this and let technology hopefully lead the way. God bless the poor souls of LOUSISIANA we need help ???

If you are depending on FOX8Weather to keep you updated on severe weather in your area, you would do better to consult a crystal ball, or fortune teller. The forecast videos are anywhere from 8 to 18 hours behind. Sometimes all thats available is the marine forecast. Ads, Ads and more Ads. If severe weather is occurring it will give a push notification, but if you click to see the “live” forecast, you will get something 8 hours old.’ Or it will freeze up, or you might get the live news, from the day before. All
In all too infuriating to deal with.

What happened to the forecast videos on the home screen? Used to be a great app but 1 star now that the forecast videos are gone. I have to go to the website for that....so what’s the point of FOX8Weather . Bring back the forecast videos and let’s get back to a 5 star rating.

I am in northeast Ohio and ever since I downloaded FOX8Weather it has given me Louisiana. I’m not sure how that happened but I don’t know how to fix it to my location. I can see my weather because I put it in there but I am still getting that I’m in La. notifications on there weather alerts not mine.

Let me tell you there’s nothing more infuriating than watching an ad before I can see live coverage of a tornado touchdown near my home. Seconds are difference between life and death sometimes. But hey your smile could look amazing when you die!

I follow different apps for my weather and they are all 50% accurate. That includes Fox!
With all the sophisticated instruments and computer modeling 50% is poor.
Wish I was a meteorologist.
I would get fired from my job if I was a 50 percentor

About half the time I view the radar on FOX8Weather there’s nothing there on the map even when I turn off WiFi or switch to another router. Like today with heavy thunderstorms on the way it’s AWOL! Had to use the Accuweather app to see where the heavy rain is. David Bernard, please get this fixed!!!

I look to see the weather before I start driving. I don’t know why the weather is 7 or 8 hours away when the news on the weather has been on since 5:00

There’s one thing that irks me to no end.
Could you adjust the sensitivity of FOX8Weather so the video doesn’t flip so easily.?
I like watching in landscape mode but the phone won’t stay in that mode unless it is tilted highly.

I appreciate the fact that I get a brief “heads up” notification on a daily basis. In addition, the doppler radar is a feature I mostly refer to, especially during stormy weather in our New Orleans area. I realize FOX8Weather is supported through advertising but unlike many other Weather APPs, the user is not bombarded with advertisements that tend to dominate and even delay immediate access to valuable weather information and alerts. Thank you!

We prefer Fox 8 because of David Bernard’s professionalism; why don’t you all have live closed captioning instead of the pre-recorded playing during the live telecast ?

Always on time. Great forecast / with explanations. Informative news. Very good sports coverage. Good working application, both on news and weather. What else is needed out of a news crew.

Incredibly Accurate, I’m a Crab Fisherman I rely on FOX8Weather to Let me know any Changes in Weather. It allows me to determine if weather is favorable to go out Crabbing or Not. Thank you very Much for continued updates

Living in a mobile home we need to have the best weather forecast to accurately predict the weather so that we’ll know how to properly prepare ourselves. Fox 8 does just that for us. Thanks, David, Nicondra, Shelbi & Zack.

Trying to listen and watch the updates on Dorian. Plenty of sound on the ads preceding the videos but dead silence on the actual forecasts. Forecaster’s lips are moving but no sound.
I’m watching on iPhone 8 Plus.

I guess I’ll go back to WDSU.

The upgrade needs a lot of improvement.
Radar isn’t accurate. It shows that it’s raining in our area, but i isn’t. Terrible upgrade.

FOX8Weather is more about ads than weather data. Often times the info I want to see is blocked by an ad. I used FOX8Weather for over a year, but I’m done with it now.

Forecast switches on the fly. Will go from 20% chance of rain to 80% then back in a couple hours. App is worthless for planning and I thought that’s what forecasting was for...Missing Bob Breck...

App refuses to recognize where I live. When trying to set weather alerts It changes the name of the city to a nearby city. Deleted app.

There’s a heatwave right now in NOLA and FOX8Weather is showing 10 DEGREES lower than actuals. Also, when it’s raining at my house, FOX8Weather radar shows clear.

Keeps freezing on my iPad Pro and telling me it can’t connect, to check my internet connection or that Airplane Mode is not on. Neither is applicable. Works on my iPhone fine. Here I have to delete FOX8Weather and download it again.

I love FOX8Weather as my local weather app because I watch this news channel. FOX8Weather is built nice. Give us a way to get rid of the ads and it would be a 5 star app. Since I can't get rid of the ads I have to use another app. Will use it again when I don't have to see the ads

Great app but would be better if you could add a widget........ It would be nice to slide to see temp, rain chance, and wind speed...... I have two weather app’s; Fox is my go to , the other for the widget only......
