If there was a zero option, I would definitely give this one. I ordered a taxi twice and no one ever showed up. This was in Dublin by the way, which is one of the most popular places in Ireland. I would not recommend for anyone to get LynkTaxis.
Prebooked a taxi the night before after downloading LynkTaxis . No one ever showed up the next morning as no cabs were to be found even though it allowed me to prebook.
US number, installed LynkTaxis in Ireland, it will not send the verification code . Now I’m locked out for too many attempts. Maybe online will work, or just walk 🧐.
I downloaded LynkTaxis before my trip to Dublin from the U.S. and I can't complete the sign up because it won't send a verification code to my cell phone
Downloaded LynkTaxis ahead of a visit to Dublin. Functionality looks great but I never received a code by SMS and as a result was unable to verify my account. Tried many times. Maybe my overseas phone number was the issue. If so, seems a bit dumb since this would be a great app for visitors to Dublin (some of whom live overseas .. shock, horror!)
I had a little trouble with LynkTaxis but that could be user error. Convenient way to order a taxi for a specific time and the driver was very efficient. Will definitely use in future because of the ability to schedule
By far the kindest and most experienced drivers. Sometimes LynkTaxis glitches or I need to call to confirm my booking but still better than MyTaxi/FreeNow.

My wife and I used this on a recent trip to Dublin from the USA. It was a real lifesaver! We used it many times and would recommend it to travelers like us.
That said, there are some things to note that could be improved. The ETA shown on the map is essentially meaningless, and we learned to ignore it. Also, the location data for individual drivers is not great. In one case, LynkTaxis told us our driver was on the opposite side of Dublin and would take 33 minutes to reach us (!!), but then he pulled up 2 minutes later.
Leaving aside the ETA inaccuracy, we always got a driver eventually, and found that if we used the pre-booking feature, the results were excellent. Lynk always called us if there was a delay, which was nice.
In summary, if you’re American and think this is Lyft or Uber, change that expectation. This works differently. But if you’re willing to view this as what it is (a taxi booking app), and have patience, you will be rewarded.
