Using Kids Email is an awesome way to get my almost 9 year old boy acquainted with using an email program. I love that I have complete control over what he can receive. It allows him to feel some independence but gives me the peace of mind to know he is still being monitored. It is very easy to access right from his iPod touch too. We love using his email to sign up for educational websites and it's great with the upcoming school year.

I signed my 7-year-old up since he is doing more with computers and the internet at school. I love that I have control over who he corresponds with. I also like that I can receive the emails he is sending/receiving. The internet can be scary, but this gives me more control on how much he can access. Highly recommend for anyone with young kids!

Great concept and happy with this app but as of a few days ago KidsEmail no longer loads on any of our iOS devices (iPhone. iPads).

KidsEmail changed its email domain and now everything I had linked to it is gone forever. Plus, it no longer works on any iOS devices for me. I STRONGLY recommend you never get KidsEmail.

It never works I have tried to use it but it never works it always crashes after I sign in horrible do not get this

Solid app, but as of a few days ago, it won’t open anymore.

It won’t let me log in! After 10 seconds I deleted it!! KidsEmail is stupid!

Why doesn’t the iPad app work?

Kids Email is an amazing resource for parents! The safety settings let me block bad language, links, photos, and attachments. There's never any spam or ads so I know my daughter won't see something that's inappropriate. Her only being able to send emails to people on the approved contact list is fantastic! And she loves being able to style the theme of her email account! Overall, it's the perfect way for my daughter to get a firsthand experience of what an email account is like without all the danger!

My 11 year old needed his own email for all the games & game counsels he's been getting into. He wants to start transferring his accounts from my email to his own, but I needed to know he was safe. Now he feels more independent with his email and is learning how to type, write better, and stay in touch with family. I have it set to the option where I can see all incoming & outgoing mail so I can still stalk him. This is a good training wheel for him before he enters the world of gmail.

Unfortunately doesn't have Unicode support for email. That means that you cannot write emails in other languages. Not only that but also if someone sends you an email in another language then you cannot see the characters of that language. I contacted support and they told me that they will submit it as a "feature enhancement".

In our day and age and on IOS all apps must be supporting Unicode. It's built into IOS.

My daughter is bilingual and needs to be able to write in both languages. If that wasn't supported then it should have been listed here since the expectation is that one can type any character shown on IOS keyboard.

Another less important issue is that KidsEmail feels cheap. That's my 11 year old's words BTW. Especially compared to the nice website that this company has.

I ended up canceling the 30-day trial and giving my daughter access to Hotmail with a few child safety modifications. Looked it up online.

There is so much to love about this. The fact that is promotes a lot of patentable control is a plus. Best I have seen out there. MY daughter can email safely and I don't have to worry about spam. I like that I can control the address list so she can't add to it. I can see the incoming and out going mails. You can put time limits and even block children out when they are grounded. It is beyond awesome.

this app was exactly what we were looking for when we decided to find a safe parent-controlled way for us to help our son get into emailing. There are so many options to limit or grow your kids experience emailing. The settings help me feel safe about what he's getting exposed to. Highly recommend KidsEmail.

My daughter wanted an email account and I wanted to be able to monitor it. This is fantastic. KidsEmail is downloadable onto her itouch and easy to use. I can see everything that comes in and out of her box and set user settings. I highly recommend it.

I wanted a convenient way to communicate with my granddaughter, and also provide her a way to expand her use of technology. The traditional email services were not an option for so many reasons. Really glad I found this service.

We have used this for both of our kids, currently late elementary and mid middle school aged. I love that I get to set preferences for so many things to protect the kids as much as possible, and I get emails anytime something comes their way that doesn't fit in those guidelines.

Layered with protection against Internet predators. Works great with our computers, iPad and iPhones.

Just tried it out for the first time. My wife and I are thrilled---but not half as much as our young daughter who has been asking for permission to email our family members.

We love KidsEmail. My son loves having his own email account and I love knowing that I am able to receive and approve every email that he gets before it hits his inbox. It's fun and safe.

Works great on my kid's iPod touch. Lets her send messages to family without having to worry about spam. Worth the monthly fee to let her have an account she can use by herself.

I love the idea of KidsEmail . I like being able to limit the contacts for my children. I also love having the ability to block web links and attachments. Will see how the kids take to it.
