Verse A Day Daily Bible Verses Reviews

I've been blessed, by using VerseADayDailyBibleVerses the past couple of years, on my previous Samsung Galaxy S5. Since I switched to an iPhone 6s Plus, I haven't been able to get the reminder feature to work. I've reloaded it twice, to no avail. I don't see any way to contact the developer, etc., so I wrote a review.
When I clicked on "App Support," an error message appeared.

I like VerseADayDailyBibleVerses! It’s gives you a short read, and the commentary is short and to the point. I look at VerseADayDailyBibleVerses first thing, to read the verse. Sometimes when I wake up in the middle of the night, and it’s the next day, I open VerseADayDailyBibleVerses read the verse, and go back to bed thinking on the verse.

Only issue I have is when I go to share it on FB it tells me I have to go into my settings and allow for something...haven’t figured out what exactly I have to do. Also more versions would be awesome. I suggest AMP, MSG, and TPT.

There is no better way to start the day than with the word of God

Lately the have been having some very minor issues pulling up VerseADayDailyBibleVerses though. I usually have to tap on the icon multiple times before the verse comes up

It would be nice if VerseADayDailyBibleVerses would stay open also when you switch screens

I just love VerseADayDailyBibleVerses. Not only does it give bible verses but also great commentary! This is my #1 bible verse app.

I only wish there was a way to:
1) Add folders and sub-folders to organize saved verses.
2) Be able to add my commentary to each saved verse where I can input:
a) How this verse and commentary helps me
b) Any inspired thoughts thru this verse and commentary
c) How I can use this verse in my daily life
d) Questions I have about verses to do further research on
3) Have more Bible versions to choose
4) Have y’all update VerseADayDailyBibleVerses more often.
a) 3 years since the last update is awful.
b) Have y’all abandoned VerseADayDailyBibleVerses?
c) There are probably a lot of people who won’t even give an app a try if VerseADayDailyBibleVerses hasn’t been updated in the past year let alone 3 years.
d) I got VerseADayDailyBibleVerses a long time ago. If I went to VerseADayDailyBibleVerses store today and was searching for Bible Verses Apps, I would not download this because since it hasn’t been updated in 3 years, it looks like the developers don’t care about VerseADayDailyBibleVerses or their customers and have abandoned VerseADayDailyBibleVerses.
i) That’s awful because this is a great app and people won’t know it because they won’t try it because of the lack of commitment on the part of the developer.

Thank you for VerseADayDailyBibleVerses devotional! The daily bible verses and commentary help me to start each day with the fire of the Holy Spirit burning in my heart! I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and I feel spiritually strengthened each morning when I read the devotional. The commentary always provides encouragement and prayer along with reflection as to how to implement the verse in our daily lives. The language is very easy to relate to. I would love it if VerseADayDailyBibleVerses could include a second verse to go deeper into the Verse-A-Day. A second verse that I could read and then reflect and pray about in the evenings that works as further illumination for the first. Just a hopeful suggestion! 🤗✝️

When verses are explained it becomes a whole new adventure through the word. My knowledge of the word has increased 10 fold. I have been reading this everyday for years except for the 5 days it was off line. VerseADayDailyBibleVerses is a blessing for all who use it and receive it.

I use a number of Bible Study Apps, online Bible Translations, and guided prayer Apps: including Verse-A-Day, to get me through my days, weeks, months & years: always seeking Gods Purpose for my life. Verse-A-Day is an invaluable part of my daily time of prayer & Communion with the Lord.

Verse A Day is very encouraging! I often meditate on the provided Scripture before I start my day and it sets the tone for my day. I have a great day and when the enemy tries to bring distress along my pathway,I meditate on that Scripture. Thank you for creating a very powerful tool to help Christians remain encouraged and steadfast in our faith.

I’ve had VerseADayDailyBibleVerses for a few years, and am so thankful it continues! I don’t know what it takes to maintain an app - especially with daily Scriptures and commentary - but it is such a blessing! Would you consider adding a few more verses each day (to fill the screen)?

Have used for many years, it no longer lets me share to Facebook and other things and so I have to do it the hard way. It acts like it’s going to but it won’t work. Also I’ve noticed a repeat of 3 years back. I’d love fresh new verses and thoughts on the verses.

What a beautiful way to start my day! The words of God inspire me and give me hope. The commentaries often make me look at scripture through different lenses. Sometimes I agree; sometimes not. But they always make me think more deeply about what God is saying.

VerseADayDailyBibleVerses is very very welcome. As mornings are quite busy I take the opportunity to open VerseADayDailyBibleVerses as soon as I get up and it is a blessing to start my day in God’s word. It does not supplant reading the Bible but it is a very quick start to the day. It just sets my day off on the very right foot and I really appreciate it. I find it to be a very real blessing each and every morning.

I have been reading these verses for at least seven years. I’m steal a babe to the word at 61 yrs. These verses have helped me understand the message so much better. The commentary is so clear that I can learn the word and retain it. I have been sharing them with friends and family, we all agree that VerseADayDailyBibleVerses is awesome.

This is one of the best apps to help you with your journey with Christ. It has been part of my ‘God first’ morning routine for many many years. I am grateful I found it. I have shared it with many people. Keep up the good work. Your concise and relevant translations make it easy to understand and apply in daily life.

Started using VerseADayDailyBibleVerses when I went blind a few years ago, and had young boy’s. I have used this daily with my reader for my self and my sons. It has Been a life saver for the three of us to stay in touch with our glorious savior and his word. VerseADayDailyBibleVerses is reaching current believers, and bringing up new ones please keep it simple and don’t change a thing.

I, finally at my golden age, made a habit of giving my God my first attention in the morning, thanks to VerseADayDailyBibleVerses along with couple of other apps. It’s an absolute blessing to learn and read about our Abba and all that He is. Thank you, as VerseADayDailyBibleVerses is slowly changing my life to the life I’m supposed to live! May our Abba bless all that is involved in VerseADayDailyBibleVerses.

This particular verse a day has been used to bless in so many ways. Whether myself personally, or another in need, it always seems to be what’s needed in that very instance. The commentary, always on the mark of what’s truly needed and where we should keep our focus! It is Christ in us, the hope of glory. My phone is my alarm clock so it sits on the edge of my nightstand (silent but for alarm). The Holy Spirit leads me to open VerseADayDailyBibleVerses first before any email or social media. I have opportunity to ponder what I’ve read through the day. Let’s be honey... most of our days are fraught with peril: disease, violence, accidents, etc. We need the reassurance that there is a God in Heaven who wants to be with us in every moment. The Word provides us with that. Thank you for a simple, effective, life-changing app!

My sister passed away in April 2012 of pancreatic cancer at the age of 43. During the 7 months I stayed with her after her diagnosis we would spend time reading the Bible every morning. She made me aware of VerseADayDailyBibleVerses and I downloaded it. My husband did also. It didn’t replace my Bible study. It is actually a reminder to me that I need to open my Bible each day. It’s easy to use and a simple way to have a jumpstart to each day. Sometimes I don’t do my “real Bible reading” until later in the day. 7 years with VerseADayDailyBibleVerses and loving it still.

I have had VerseADayDailyBibleVerses for around 4 years and have definitely read some insightful things. In many occasions the Scirptures related to what was happening in my life or things that I was learning about. I'd like to thank you guys for doing what you have been doin. God bless!
