This game got boring after a while so I recommend you don’t get it

So yeah, I built my mall fairly well, but I keep losing money despite combos. Items cost too much to build and I don’t understand how to run a fair. No where in the instructions does it tell you how to do it. Every time I try to place it over sections of stores, it won’t take it saying no boxes available. I’m assuming they mean the boxes hanging off the stores but I guess not it doesn’t work.

Hallways cost like 16,000$ and increasing for each one I place down, when it should be 1,000$ and I was wondering why I was doing so bad, that's why! It's a really great game but Jesus you need to fix it, it really slows down game progress like a lot.

I love this game. I can play this for hours on end, but there are some issues that need to be fixed.

First, the mall rankings. Before the most recent update, I could easily rank #1 so I could get the casino. Now, no matter how much money I rack up with any of my stores(after continuously using hold sale every month) I always rank #5. I even got close to making $10,000,000 and I STILL got #5! I don't know if it's the way I'm playing or if it's a bug, but it needs to be fixed.

Second, the cost of placing different shops, facilities, hallways, etc. Before the update, if say a hallway costed $1000 to make, that's what it costed. Now, it's far more expensive. Let's say if I make 10 hallways, it doesn't cost $10,000 like it used to. It's more like $250,000 or some other ridiculous amount like that, and the cost INCREASES as I make more floors! This is the same with making shops, adding facilities, etc.

I love this game, I really do. It's a nice little distraction for me when I need it. But these bugs need to be fixed.

Ive been currently working on beating everyone of their games. I have beaten Edo towns and game dev and have just beaten this one. It had a slow start which almost made me delete it but once you get into it its really fun. People saying they are having trouble with the "rival malls" are just not saving and spending money wisely. I had everything thing unlocked including investments, buildings, etc and with a total of 42 million dollars by the end of the game and i never had gone under my budget. As long as you don't get a buy a stores at the beginning of the game like crazy you will be fine.

In conclusion, i would highly recommend MegaMallStory if you played their other games and know what to expect. I wouldn't want to start their games with this one. I have a feeling people might get bored and quit.

I love this game and kairosoft!! Although their apps are pricy which is a minor problem to the game... the game is mostly depended on by patience which is alright. I love the art style and the game really hyped me up sometimes. Although it's a bit pricy, I would recommend. :)

Very cute and fun game with good replayability. The only suggestion I have is that rival malls should not appear so often after you’ve completed all investment plans as that’s the only way you can get rid of them besides waiting for two years (in the game) for them to go bankrupt. Other than that, Mega Mall Story is a solid app!

Yet again Kairosoft makes an addicting, well-put-together simulation game that overflows with their personal style. If this is the first game you've played by the company then get ready to not put your phone down for the next 2 days straight.

But if you're like me and you've downloaded all of the Kairosoft games, then Mega Mall is a bit of a disappointment. There are 2 major problems with this game that other kairosoft games don't suffer from as much: 1. The game is too easy. I unlocked almost everything on just my first playthrough. 2. The replay value of Mega Mall is horrible. Its difficult to imagine anyone wanting to play it more than 2 times because you'll already have unlocked everything by then.

This is a great Mall sim and the closest thing I'll get to playing Sim Tower again. I loved Game Dev and this title is just as amazing. However, the only problem is that for the $4 pricetag it could use more content. Here's some suggestions:

*Remove Mall Size Limits - a 12 story mall is pretty insane. But there's so many stores and only 1 horizontal upgrade that after you unlock all the stores (not including combos, in which case you need multiple of the same stores) it's almost impossible to fit it all in there.

*Include some initiative for game completion/new game+ - The only real problem I had is that even though the endgame is 15 years, with weeks going by as fast as they do the game ends very quickly. Aside from getting a high score there's no reason to do it all over again. How about a new game+ where you get to keep all your money as well as sell back your stores for money (the higher level they are the more you get) and maybe even some type of prize/special shop for getting a certain amount of clear points. This will encourage people to play it again and again.

Just some ideas. Other than that, great game!

I wish I could find something negative to say about this game, but like every other title from the studio it held my attention for the entire length of the game (12 hours or so). I cannot think of any other game on any platform I can say that about. And this company has now released their fourth.
The game is quirky and fun. Fans of other Kairosoft games will be happy to see King Akbar and Chimpan Z return as well as some new characters I hadn't seen before.
$3.99 might be a little pricey if you're not already somewhat invested in the other games too. But Kairosoft always offers a lite version so try the lite, try the others. They're all great!
When Pocket Academy was released I was in Atlanta visiting a friend and we each started playing (me on my iPhone, him on my iPad) at around 3 in the afternoon and though we had planned to go out drinking that night the day flew by and we never made it out. Now he wants me to visit again with this release. Ha! How embarrassing.

Many hours of fun. Very in depth. It's not one of those builder games where you have to wait for things, it's actually pretty fast paced. The amount of content makes it so that you can't finish the game in a day.

This is the BEST of the builder type games I’ve played. The throwback pixel graphics brings the innocence back to video games!

If you don’t over spend into too deep of debt- you really don’t have to wait long to build stuff. Unlike some “Tycoon” games where you need to spend real money and wait overnight for game credits- you pay one fee upfront WITH NO IN APP PURCHASES😁 and there’s no prolonged waiting.

You get a real sense of accomplishment with so many things to do you won’t get bored.

It’s really addicting and I highly recommended it!

Wonderful example of Kairosoft's expertise in tycoon games. I loved playing this game and want more, though I understand this game might not receive updates any time soon, and that's fine. It was a great use of time, and I highly recommend it.

I bought this game on a whim one night when I couldn't sleep, and ended up playing 9 hours straight! All the way through the mall's 15th year! I'm not sure if the replay will be as addicting (probably a good thing since I don't have that much free time!), but that alone was plenty of entertainment value for the price.

For a game that had so much going on, it wasn't a huge drain on my iPod touch's battery. I probably was in hour 3 or 4 before I had to plug it in (nicely, the top bar stays in portrait orientation, so I could keep an eye on battery use but not have it take up real estate in typical landscape mode play).

The only thing that got annoying were the popup windows after and during actions. You have to wait for them to type or calculate before you could dismiss them. Plus, several could have been combined to streamline things.

One improvement I would love is a store manager, where you could see all stores in a list and track leveling, upgrades, sell out times, and profit margins.
