The free *trial* of this app that allows you to scan a limited number of barcodes to show you how everything works, worked perfectly. So, I decided to pay the $.99 for the app. THEN once I did that, I was prompted to pay another $.99 for the barcode scanner. So, I did that too. THEN when I opened the app again to scan more books, the ones I’d already scanned disappeared. It gets worse. You see a list of tabs in the settings section but the only one you can click on is the one that takes you to literally pay for every single feature the app offers, which should’ve been included in the $2 I already paid. $5 for a CSV export, and $5 for auto input of the books details, etc. This is literally a rip-off app that baits you with a perfectly working demo, but then SURPRISE nothing works unless you pay nearly $20 for all the standard features.

I like supporting app developers but they have “mostly” all decided they are going to dollar all iOS users to death or charge an outrageous amount to buy an app in whole- if your even able to do so I.e EVERNOT. So I download this app to just create a want list for books. I pay a dollar after I scan in about 10 books into my library. Then after a few more books I am prompted to pay more money to add more bookshelf space. I at this point have just slightly over 10-15 books saved. The app is $10 total which because we are all using iOS no one knows until it is “WAY TOO LATE”. This has all begun to become a money trap because APPLE has designed the entire platform to be a money rating monster. That is all it does. It eats your money. And it gives very little back.

I purchased this app to keep track of my ever-growing book collection. It seemed like a great solution. I ordered most of the in-app purchases which was stupid on my part. In order for the app to be useful the database sync/backup in-app purchase would be essential. Here's where the problem began. In order to do this you need to authorize thru Facebook. I tried to do this repeatedly but the process went into an endless loop and wasn't able to be completed. There was supposed to be an alternate way to set-up the sync if you didn't want to or couldn't use Facebook but in actual practice this was never offered to me. I sent the author two emails and made one phone call to explain my problem without any response. Save your money and stay away from this program.
