This used to be a really fun game when you could choose your dice but ever since they implemented that dice claw I’ve got nothing but duplicate dice and it’s so frustrating because it’s so hard to accumulate the tokens to get the dice and then when you get the same 17 times that’s a little bit much and I know they’re working to fix that now it just can’t come soon enough. Also I have suggested that we should be able to do something but I left over adventure coins which I usually have anywhere from 15 to 50,000 extra coins it would be nice to buy some older frames are older guys that aren’t available anymore with those tokens also I want to be able to pick my own die so I don’t want to have a dice club pick the dice for me because a lot of the dice are childish and I’m a grown adult!!! And the graphics act up all the time now I get a really odd board half the time that I can’t even see the other persons score. Also today I had a really high score in the whole game froze and I couldn’t even enter my final score so I lost out on more than likely the first place score I had three Yatzy’s in that game so yeah the whole game is gone downhill and I’m very dissatisfied any more

I now fully believe this game is rigged. It started out being very fun but now I think it’s just a money pit. Your chance to win more than 1 die on a scratcher is slim to none and it’s the same for the money wheels and winning the jackpot…even if you buy extra spins at the end of one to increase your chances, you still don’t win the jackpot. I’ve heard of 1 or 2 people winning the 500 dice on the album but that’s pretty much slim to none as well. I used to spend quite a bit of money on this game but no more! Also, it’s been suggested that all the tapping stop. Why can’t you group all the types of packs together and say how many you won and open them all at the same time?! I’m SO tired of tapping. This game needs some major improvements because I haven’t even talked about all the glitches. And why do I have to watch an ad all the time - especially when it’s something I already have. This is extremely frustrating and I’m just about done. I may continue to play to pass the time when I’m bored but I will no longer be spending MY money when the favor isn’t returned on your end to win dice. I’ve already pretty much stopped playing the regular games and just play the special games like tournaments, family feast, treasure hunt, and bowling. If I could’ve rated a zero, I would have.

You all banned the leader of my family who plays legitimately and fairly. While tons of other families are double and triple submitting there turns in family games and feast. This is an absolute joke. She is a good leader that plays fairly and has tried to get her account back but you all won’t give her any explanation. Probably because you know it was bogus. She doesn’t pay for prize pass or buy any of the stuff you offer. Yet another member had her account suspended and it was back in 24 hours. She pays for prize pass. That’s just a joke. Come out and say it’s for money rather than hiding from it. I’ve been on this game since all you could do was play players one versus one. I’ve tied with players in survivor 4 times of late and sent tickets and got nothing. While others are getting half of the jackpot. I got at least 15 friends and family members to play this game. I thought it was great and the support use to be awesome. That’s definitely not the case anymore and the way you all are going will just push others away. Fix it! Or don’t and continue to lose players and credibility.

🤮👎👎👎👎👎👎👎what a crock been buying the package with the mega scratchers tonight 7 total mega scratchers only 7 extra dice. And the times before that same deal don’t buy the mega scratcher packages you get nothing. Heck you get nothing off any of the scratchers. The wheels are a joke too always getting the stickers that you already have. The only way you can win the stickers is if you buy them. They should get rid of them. Now they got the stupid painting game. I’m pretty sure I can’t win anything anymore because I keep giving them a bad review. Oh well. Start giving people some dice. Get rid of the stickers they are dumb unless you purchase them you can’t win the grand prize and you get nothing but different kinds of new dice I have enough dice. You need to get your horse racing game to tell the truth about what place your in. I’ve been in 1st place a couple of times and don’t get first place points or like I was just in second place right before I crossed the finish line and ended up in fifth place how does that happen. This game is so rigged. Every time I write something crappy about you I get less free dice. Wow can’t you handle it. The scratchers never give free dice any more maybe your advertisers should quit advertising on your site you think?

Piece of crap game any more! Bugs out and you can’t submit a message to support it bugs out too but then I guess that’s the purpose. 👎👎👎👎👎

I can’t decide which is worse, the CONSTANT “we’re experiencing delays” messages leaving you hanging forever, or the fact you’ll be forced to watch 3x more ads than you’ll get play time. Either way it’s hard to tell if the game is any fun. You never actually get to play it. Too bad the game isn’t to memorize the same stupid 5 mindless ads you’ll see over and over. Note to advertisers. I make it my rule that any company that places these irritating mind bendingly horrid ads on these games are companies I commit to never doing business with. So congrats on losing sales. Pathetic. And love all the fake rave reviews too. Nice try.

In an update this joke has gone into the ranks of utterly unplayable. Every 30 seconds I get the preposterous “sorry system is slow” messages and it’s caused me to lose tournaments because I couldn’t register my points because of the endless lag and tone ran out. Two words: Rip Off. Mayne loading it up with three stupid ads to every one roll of the dice might be the problem. Or half witted Russian petty criminals who think they’re businessmen. Don’t bother with this mess. I’m dumping DiceWithBuddies now and good riddance.

If you believe that the dice rolls are random then I have some Arizona oceanfront property to sell you. It doesn’t take long playing this game for the first time to realize that something is not right, that the dice rolls do not seem natural. Most obvious and flagrant is on the third and final dice roll, when you are going for a small straight, that nine times out of ten it will not give you the small straight, and you wind up getting a cr@p roll. Mind you, on an open-ended roll for a small straight the odds are good that you will roll either the low die or high die, but in this game it is programmed to get neither, and it is not a natural occurrence of rolls. This is ridiculous, as it defies the laws of nature, that the algorithms are coded to deny you the small straight. Another obvious scam is also when you need just one certain die and after three rolls you do not get just the ONE die, again, defying the laws of nature. It’s obvious that Scopely both wants you to use up your free dice rolls and to consider paying for more.

Update #1: looks like they brought back free scratchers after removing them, undoubtedly, Scopely got too many complaints and caved; however, you are lucky to get ONE free roll in twenty scratchers. Pathetic.

I just received an update that they hope to fix this issue with the next update and all the can offer is one free tournament entry. This is such horrible customer service, as I’ve lost over 100 free rolls. I would rate this a 0 if it were an option. I would warn against buying anything in DiceWithBuddies.

I’ve been playing on DiceWithBuddies for 10 years and it has been my favorite until recently. They have created so many features, so you have to refresh DiceWithBuddies after each game. The new stickers are silly, not sure of the point in collecting and you can guarantee you’re not going to get to 100% without spending money and the reward does not exceed the cost. Recently they made an update where you can play tournaments for up to 5X the points. In the last month there is a new issue that is not including your first round of play in your total and I’m losing approx 6 free dice per round that I use to get a higher score. They issued an alert that it was fixed, but it’s not and I’ve set numerous emails and screenshots when it occurs with no contact, for a month! With all the features going on at the same time they’ve lost the integrity of the game. I would caution anyone from spending any money on DiceWithBuddies until they resolve all issues.

Can y’all please make so when you get free dice from the claw, it doesn’t give you dice you ALREADY WON! I’m the current one there’s like 6 diff dice you can see and I have won one set 3 times! I’d like the ones I DON’T have and not keep getting the same ones! I work hard in tournaments other things to get the coins and then end up realizing it’s a waste cuz I already have the dice!

I really hate how this game doesn’t ask if I’d really like to use a bonus roll. When I’m playing in a tournament and playing fast, it pops up, would you like a fresh start, and I DON’T, but I don’t realize it has asked me that because I’m playing fast, and I end up hitting yes and it restarts my game using a bonus roll when I don’t want to! It wouldn’t be that hard for the game to say, “are you sure you want to restart”, so I can say, “no, I don’t!”. Please fix this issue so I don’t have to quit wasting my bonus rolls! Also, it should also ask if you’d like to start a game with the person of the day. Half the time, I tap to play one of my games, DiceWithBuddies refreshes and I end up starting a new game when I don’t want to! Then I have a game on my list for a week when they don’t respond! Super annoying also! Also can’t stand how there’s the pop up box when you tap on a place to play. If you accidentally tap on the square above or below, and then hit submit before you realize it, yuh get a zero on a place you didn’t mean to play! The old way to play your turn was way better!

I have been playing this dices for 6 years and I am still playing. I have to rated this bad! This year it is awful. Adding stickers are the most fake winning ever. How impossible to get 100 percent for more than 30 days and now it is 3 days, it is 90 percents, I am not buying stickers. I miss weekly games and many prizes are gone. Disappointing. Stickers are not helpful, force me to pay and pay. Nah. I am not very pleased how developers changing this. Do not follow others apps like stickers. Since 6 years I am playing as it is good rating til now they add stickers and too many many glitches and cause my prizes missing. I am tired to contact customer service cuz lack of communication. I have a family games and we discussed a lot of time about missing prizes, not winning a chances or anything. Family fest ticket is the rare to get this. None of provide anything. Please bring more Family Feast tickets!! How could you make this games successful after 6 years I play and this is really a mess. I really love this game. I am feel like leave this and I am not but I am not playing with stickers ever. Bring back old games, this is a family game. Come on developers. As for 2020, I rated 2 out of 5. Since 2014 before systems change recently, 5 out of 5. Sorry developers, your creation seem not great.

Updated review (9/19): Updating the one-star review I previously left. Upgrading one star because they seem to have fixed the bugs and DiceWithBuddies no longer crashes. Upgrading another star because the graphics are decent and it’s obvious they put a lot of creativity into this game. Still, fails in several categories. It’s still impossible to “win big” from a scratch off. Scratch offs for extra rolls are a joke; cards may show 50, 100, even 200 free rolls to win, but after years of playing this game I’ve determined that those are a joke. The dice and board choices are also a joke (i.e. they are ugly). I have little desire to keep playing in order to win ugly dice. There also seems to be no rhyme or reason for when or how often new games pop up, like “Survivor” (better have plenty of extra dice rolls for that one, kids, because your chances of making it through more than five rounds is almost zilch). This game feels like they have ten year olds coding and they’re marketing to ten year olds. It would be nice if they added some grown up touches Starting with beautiful dice and cartoon opponents that don’t look like mutilated cartoon characters. Dice games are addictive, but this one is still one you can still tasks a pass on.

While I love Dice with Buddies there are some things that need to change or do away with. The Price Climb and the Adventure to earn coins to get those squares serves absolutely no purpose and needs to go. While every once in awhile you get a prize when buying one of those 6 sided marks there is absolutely no other benefit to them. If you are able to get all marks for a character, there is no reward or benefit so why even collect them at all. It's just another way to burn more bonus rolls and make DiceWithBuddies richer. On the Family Feast, it is just absurd to wait 12 hours for next free play when no other game requires more than 3. Again just another way to blow through more bonus rolls so a person has to buy more and make DiceWithBuddies creator more money. The last thing is the Harvest Game. Either make the bonus price 1 extra roll or just do away with the game completely. To put the price at 2 or 3 is nothing but greedy on your part. It costs a person 10+ bonus rolls just to play the bonus on each turn. You want to make DiceWithBuddies and game better than start listening to the players.

The game is still fun, but I miss when you could pick the dice you wanted to buy, rather than being forced to receive random dice you don’t want. When you manage to get lucky enough to receive 2 sets of the same kind of certain dice, effects are added to make them ‘Super Dice,’ which is more distracting than interesting, so I find it better to turn off Super Dice in the settings. The old dice had really cool effects too... they would highlight in unique ways as you selected the ones you were holding before rolling again. Now they just lamely outline in green or something. The scratchers are still fun and I like the tournaments, leagues and Gift Grab activities, and really enjoy the High-Rollers challenges. Dicemasters are ok, but I could do without them. It was more fun when you could work your way up a Dicemaster ladder to win some cool dice rather than the coins or tokens you get now.
The game also glitches every few days when trying to watch the ads for free rolls and scratchers. The only way I have found to fix it is to reinstall DiceWithBuddies . This wouldn’t be a big deal, except the game forces you to rewatch all the welcome tutorials for different activities, even after it recognizes that you have played before.
Overall, the game is very functional if you like to play Yahtzee!, and it’s fun to chat now and then with your opponents.

This is the third time I’ve been asked to review DiceWithBuddies and every time the same review I submitted before is still here. Maybe they only accept positive reviews??? This info is still the same but I counted 58 dice that I didn’t have available in the dice claw so can’t understand why I keep getting duplicates.
This game is lots of fun and there are activities that will interest everyone...however...to get scores good enough to win tournaments, you need to have bonus rolls, which cost money. This game is very creative at finding ways to ensure you use your bonus rolls so that you purchase more. The game has good graphics but also runs your phone battery down quickly. It is easy to spend $20 on bonus rolls that don’t last the day. You also enter events where the reward you earn is dice that they choose. So money is spent to play an event where the reward is not tangible and isn’t even something you want. SO....if bonus rolls weren’t needed in every event and so expensive to purchase, this would be the best game ever.

The game itself is a great way to gain new friends in the gaming world.

The game gives you a scratch card which they call scratchers after the completion of a game. They have a various amounts that can be won, 1,2,3,10,25,etc. up to 200 bonus rolls. I have been playing for almost a year now and the largest amount I have won is 3 bonus rolls.

Here is the kicker!!! I once had a scratcher that I had removed enough of the overlay to reveal 3 200's however before I was finished removing the overlay to completely reveal the 3rd 200, the game stopped me from scratching the rest of the ticket and popped up the message that I hadn't won. Fortunately I took a screen shot of the scratch ticket which there is no question as to what the number is below the overlay. I need to figure out how to send a copy of it to the company and call them on it!!
Cheated out of 200 bonus rolls!
They purposely give you close to nothing so they can sell you bonus rolls at an exorbitant price. Bottom line, they advertise you can win up to 200 bonus rolls but you will never win them. Even when you reveal 3 200's which is needed to win the 200 bonus rolls they will cheat you out of them.
Since I refuse to pay the big bucks they ask for the bonus rolls I have little chance of winning any of the tournaments they hold. If you have a lot of money to blow on games then you found one which you can spend a paycheck on.

So I would give this a full 5 stars if it weren’t for them making it so freaking difficult to get bonus dice so you can actually play the tournaments consistently. I literally just went through about 60 scratchers or so and only received a WHOPPING 7 Dice!!!!! What a rip off. I was doing good for a little bit, but my opinion is pretty on point. They reel you in, get you addicted give you a bunch of dice and then bam you don’t get any, so then your left with having to use your money to buy more. (Well only 7 out of 60 scratchers.) I swear this world is nothing but GREED!!! Can’t even play a freaking game without needing to spend money. I’m close to being done with this game. Love the game, I’ve made several reviews on this game in regards to the dice and I thought it worked but I’m guessing it didn’t. Ohhh and I played a tournament only came in 10th place which would have been 12 dice I went to go claim those dice but never received them. Made a complaint earlier today and still don’t have my dice. I’m on the edge of deleting this game for good.

I love this game because there are tournaments. I love how you can choose your dice. The thing I like the most is that you can have more than one game without doing one at a time like the board game Yahtzee. Amazing graphics. I really like how you can choose a frame around your picture. My favorite tournament is Wackee Dice. What I love about Wackee Dice is there can be more than 1 of the same thing, there are evens and odds. Also, I really like Multiplier Match. I really like Multiplier Match because there are multipliers that really help you. Once, I got on first try more than 40 on a 3 or 4 of a kind. What I love that helps you a ton is there are bonus rolls. I like how there is Dice Bingo. Dice Bingo is cool because it is Bingo! But with dice. One thing I want you to improve is the dice you can buy. What I want you to fix on it is to make it at least 30¢ cheaper. Also, Dice World is really fun. I think it is really fun because you named the Dice World players really good names. I like how you added a fun arcade game, the Gift Claw. I like it because you can earn bonus rolls or different dice. This is the best multiplayer strategy game ever. Good job Scopely. Also, ads are really rare. That is what I love so it cannot disturb you and you can just have fun.

The game has changed since I first started playing I used to get a lot of joy playing the game now because of all the changes I find playing with the buddies more enjoyable chatting with people all over the world. The game used to have fun games and tournaments to play to win really cool dice not anymore the game plays with really cool dice but they don’t offer them to the players they offer ugly dice to the players to win. Their support system has only standard answers from a sheet of paper and they usually don’t answer with the right answer because they didn’t read all of the complaint . The team makes a lot of changes to the game by putting in dice claws to get new dice to play with which you get the same dice you already have more often than not so the answer to why this happens so often is luck of the draw or because we have super dice now please I’d rather pick my dice from the claw than get a hamburger dice or hot dog which I’ll never play with

Love love this game. I had 5 stars but changed it to 3 because I use to get 12 each of scratchers & dice from watching videos everyday. Not sure what happened but now I only get 4 each which is ridiculous on how much I play the tournaments, games, gift grab. I have complained about this hoping it would change but nothing has. Please give me my 12 each and I will change it back to 5. Can’t play Family Feast productively with only 4 dice. Come on now....

UPDATE: Someone did get back to me in about 48 hours and explained to me the reason, which I was very happy about. At least in this game they seem to make an effort to respond to a complaint. I now leveled up to 60 and have my 12 back of each again therefore as I stated your back up to 5 stars. Love love the family I’m with with the Feast. Great people who to love to play daily with No Drama. Truly my only game I’m playing now. Ditched the other two I was playing. 💜

Used to like this game a lot. Your tournaments are a lot of fun but if your not wasting a lot of bonus rolls you get no where. You should have a limit on how many times you can play. Then it might be judged on the best score rather than how much money you spend to enter. It takes a lot of bonus rolls most of the time to get a good score and this game is very stingy giving them out but takes a way a lot! You have to get say 30,000 XP’s to move up a level and you give a measly 4 bonus rolls but it take 2 every time you enter a tournament. You need to give out more bonus roll to keep it fun or require less to play. I believe most of the big winner have to be paying a lot of money to do that, I feel sorry for them, I hope they can afford it. It’s not worth it to me. It’s suppose to be fun. Not cost a lot of money. I'm ready to stop playing, it's no fun anymore for me.

I’ve been playing this game for ages. It’s been one of those that I go through phases with; I’ll enjoy it for a bit and then taper off for a while and pick it back up again, and so on. Lately though, with many of the new changes, I find myself playing daily and sometimes obsessively!

I feel as though there are more opportunities now to pick and choose events that I want to participate in. I know it seems like a lot to some players, but I used to have a mentality of ‘gotta play ‘em all’. Now, I skip things like Kingdom, or Survivor if I’m not feeling like doing those, and I don’t feel like I’m missing out on the opportunity for prizes.

Sure, there are a couple of things I’d improve (some kind of weighted rewards system in Treasure Hunt that requires participation of both players, for one!!) but overall I’m really enjoying the game and am playing daily.
