Updated with ads? $2.99? Delete...

Really kind of liked Dozzzer. I understand if you find your app is popular and you want to get paid. But I don't like it when I have Dozzzer already and you update it without mentioning the new hidden cost in your update. Or the awful ads that will pop up if you update without paying. $2.99 for an "updated icon"? How about at least offering a discount to the current users? Ask for support? Blindsided. Sorry to have to delete it.

GREAT IDEA: FIX IT!!!!!!!

This is such a great idea for an app. The developer have GOT to get the bugs out. I can load two songs, any more and the thing crashes. Please fix. I'm giving 3 stars only because I love the concept of Dozzzer. I really hope I will be seeing many updates in the near future. If these updates do not happen don't waste memory space for Dozzzer.

Loved this app before...

Had a iPhone 4 with Dozzzer & loved it. Moved to an iPhone 5s and Dozzzer is ridiculously buggy. When 1st opened, the switch for shuffle has to be switched off then back on for shuffle to work even though it's already in the on position. Switching the switch off freezes the program though. Dozzzer is also lag heavy in doing general task.

Good, but needs work.

It does what is says it'll do. The volume does decrease over time. I find this helpful, because when I fall asleep to my music, I don't usually put a timer on it because sometimes I don't fall asleep fast enough, and my music will just cut off. So I leave it on, and I find myself waking up abruptly in the middle of the night to turn it off. So Dozzzer helps me there. One thing that could be fixed is the sound could begin tapering off earlier, right now it only does it closer to the end of the time. Also, it would be nice to have a longer timer to put it on; it only goes up to 90 minutes.
Lastly there's this annoying glitch where if you have headphones in, the little volume adjustment screen pops up and never fades away as it should. It just stays there unless you take out the headphones. You can see it there even of you exit Dozzzer and enter the other one. This needs I be fixed pronto.
All in all, this is a good app and I'm looking forward to future updates.

Can’t use it with my own music?

I don’t mind ads and I don’t mind paying for extra features but the whole point of Dozzzer was to use my music to fall asleep and that is now behind a paywall? Not a fan.

Could be better with some tweaks

It's a nice app but there's definitely room for improvement. It does not slowly fade out the music like it says it will. I always have it set to fade out every 5 minutes, and it has never worked. But the timer of how long the music will play works nicely.

much better

I've used Dozzzer since its launch time. With the new updates, it's much better. But tapping the forward or backward arrow is not always accurate, sometimes it easily makes the dial move to 0 min or 90 min, I have to dial back again and again...

Simple

I think it's simple enough for the proposed functionality. I'll only complain because it does not restore the volume to the previous setting, keeping it loooow (muted, basically)

This app has come a long way

1.3.2 review

Dozzzer seems to be working now, although I haven't thoroughly tested it out. That's because I've gotten used to using the 'fade sleep dream' app while waiting for the kinks to be worked out of this app. this app has come a long way since when I first found it, and the developer has been very courteous and responsive to my emails.

Now, if either of these apps add support for fading streaming audio from another app, then that will be Dozzzer that wins the battle.

Last review: As of the current version of Dozzzer , I cannot even launch Dozzzer anymore without it crashing. I've found an alternative app called 'fade sleep dream' for a $1.99. Hope this app gets fixed.

Old review:

I think Dozzzer will eventually be great, but a few issues need to be addressed first for that to happen. Foremost, the volume only begins to decrease near the very end of the timer. It would make a lot more sense in my opinion for the volume to braising decrease during the entire duration of the timer. Because of this, I really think Dozzzer is currently only a 2 star app, but I don't want to hurt the developer by rating Dozzzer that low initially because I believe the developer will eventually address this issue as well as some others. For now, I give Dozzzer 3 stars, and I know it will eventually be worthy of 5 stars easily.

I've always wanted an app like this, so thanks for bringing it to fruition!

Would be perfect if i didn't have to reselect all my music everytime i needed to add/delete a song!

Dozzzer is very good at what it is supposed to do, but would make life a lot easier if the selected music was editable. I don't like having to reselect out of 3000 songs everytime i need to add just one song.

Playlists would be a nice additional feature.

Good but needs work

Dozzzer does what it's supposed to do but once I hit play the volume icon will not disappear from the screen (in other apps, on lock/home screen, ...everywhere). Also it would be nice to be able to edit the music I have already selected instead of having to reselect what I had before I hit "Select Music".

UPDATE!!!!

Finally,no crashing, and i can make the volume decrease when i want it. Now Dozzzer does what is says it would. 5 stars.

Awesome!

This is one of my favorite apps. Lets me fall asleep listening to books on tape. Perfect solution for sleepless nights. Works flawlessly and has great customer support if you have questions.

Exactly what I was looking for.

I love how easy Dozzzer is to use. I have it ready in about a minute and I'm drifting off to sleep without my iTunes playing all night.

Love this playlist app.

There were a couple of hiccups related to my understanding of the new interface, but Lukas, with customer support, was quick and fantastic to helped me find the solutions within a couple email exchanges.
Plus the new additions are super useful. this app is the perfect solution for my needs and I use it nearly every evening to "wind down" from my day.

Works great

I've had no problems with Dozzzer , works great when using a pre-made playlist. Very simple and gets the job done! Bravo!

Runs in the background as needed

I needed a music timer that runs in the background while I have my music alarm app active for the morning. Dozzzer is doing this.

I LOVE IT

I think Dozzzer is great and easy to use. I select a song list from my music library and use my timer (this app) before going to bed every night. Makes going to sleep a better experience.

Simple

Simple app that seems to do what it should. I'm happy. It seems like there should be a smarter way of selecting music, but this seems to be a built-in feature for all third-party apps where Apple limits the way to access the iTunes library - no docked stars for that.

Works very well

Dozzzer is just what I needed. So far, no problems with crashes or anything like that.
