Pics HD for Reddit Reviews

Really disappointed that they made every good thing about PicsHD into a paid feature. I know that companies have to make money but to take away every single feature but one is hella greedy. Like you guy could have left 2-3 features for free and left everything else behind a paywall. Haven’t used PicsHD since this Change. Reddit isn’t as direct with the content I want, but at least I don’t have to pay Reddit to get the content I want to see.

PicsHD used to come ad free with full capabilities including making comments, making posts, and viewing the comments section. For some reason the devs decided they needed money after several years of a great app and now it costs $4.99 for me to have the same app that I originally downloaded for free. Needless to say I won’t be paying for something that was once offered for free. I’d much rather read comments online than pay money to do so. What a shame.

PicsHD works well for scrolling through images quickly. I have wasted many hours on it and will continue to do so. My complaint would be the ability to view comments, which isn’t as intuitive as other Reddit apps.

I’ve been using the apps for years. For some reason, PicsHD crashes and says “error 401” and won’t work until I redownload. Once I go to the main menu again, it crashes again.

Love PicsHD , but it’s annoying at the moment.

If you are just looking at memes or somthing else image based it’s great, if your trying to read somthing your out of luck, I like it better than any other app for r/funny cause I just have to tap 1 time to get to the next image I give it a 9/10 but there a lack of stars

This honestly is the only app I really use. It's perfect and makes reddit 100 times better because its just the pictures! I've recommended PicsHD to all my friends and they love it to. Bravo to the maker of PicsHD. You did something amazing. The one thing that I want you to add in though is to show the total amount of up votes and down votes you get on a single post. You can do this on the website version when you click on comments. But that info should be available on PicsHD . I think it would be pretty easy to incorporate that into PicsHD .

Recently had an access issue. Contacted support not expecting much, but instead, I received a response within 2 minutes with a resolution. Don’t hesitate! Best way around to view Reddit picture posts!

Can’t beat this program to look at Reddit pictures. Easy way to organize your topics. The part I really like you should get to choose the order you want to see him by popularity or newness

This is by far the best app for Reddit. I have been using it pretty much every day for the past 10 years or so. I got a error for a few days, but simply deleting and reinstalling PicsHD resolved that issue. It will easily restore your purchase on reinstall as well.

Love PicsHD! The only item I would like to see added is the ability to add a subreddit directly from within the subreddit you are browsing.

Love that Reddit can be viewed through different lenses. Definitely appreciate only being able to see images. I use this as my daily source of news. I would seriously be upset if anything happened to PicsHD.

Used PicsHD for 6 or 7 years now and it has been may absolute favorite. However latley its been having a lot of issues. Having errors, logging out of my account, etc... really wish they would fix this it was my favorite app.

I’ve been using PicsHD every day for the last 8 years and I love it. It really is the best way to view content on Reddit. I honestly don’t know what I would do without it. Thousands of hours laughing and discovering new things. Hats off to whoever designed PicsHD and keeps it going, it’s brought me a lot of happiness through everything.

Big thanks to the devs for fixing the 401 issue, also I’m digging the dark mode integration as well.

However, I noticed the download button is now replaced with a share button; any particular reason for that? I’m used to downloading images and sharing it with friends. Any chance we can get the feature back?

I can't go from full screen view to the menu (comments, up/down vote) options anymore. Every time I try to get the menu options back up it just zooms and it's driving me crazy. I use PicsHD to fall asleep at night... Please fix!!! Will give this 5 stars once this glitch is figured out.

I’ve had PicsHD since college (6 years ago) and I don’t know what I’d do without it.

While I love reading reddit articles and threads, sometimes at night when I’m tired I just want to look at pictures and PicsHD is perfect. You can search for and look through specific subreddit photos (I do r/oddlysatisfying when I’m trying to relax at night) or you can search through r/all! Either way.....If you just tap the side of the screen, it goes to the next photo. IT’S SO CONVENIENT AND YOU DIDN'T KNOW YOU NEEDED IT.

ALSO. The creator of PicsHD JUST updated to fit an iPhone X or newer size screen and night mode. I’m so grateful although even if they didn’t update it, I would still be using it every night.

I’ve had this application for a couple years, and I love how efficient this is for looking at the pictures of Reddit. I also really appreciate the support for PicsHD. After emailing the support team about a bug in a recent update, the developer emailed me back, and the application was fixed 3 days later in a newer update. Thank you for the great app, and the great support!

Was pretty bummed when they discontinued redditpics... And almost a little ticked when I had to repurchase what seemed like a better version of what I'd already paid for. That said... This one is far better & more user friendly. You don't get kicked back to the newest photo if your browsing is interrupted, and you can slide between list view and pictures really well. Lots more good stuff.

I have used PicsHD every night for the past 8 years. I have had maybe 2 problems in total with PicsHD itself which a simple uninstall/reinstall did the trick. I know the official Reddit app came out but I just enjoy this layout better. Before I go to bed this is the perfect app to just scroll through all of Reddit. Also if you hate ads, I paid $4.99 one time forever ago and it makes PicsHD easier to navigate. Loyal customer!

I love PicsHD. It’s easy and it’s funny. I paid money for it so I could see the comments and write comments. I’m probably on PicsHD 1-3 times a day because the pictures are always different.
My one issue is it keep crashing on me. After about a minute of scrolling it crashes.
That’s my only issue, it’s great other than that.

I’ve been using PicsHD to lurk since 2012. It’s given me thousands of hours of entertainment. I’ve also used it to stay current on world events and learn more about my personal hobbies and interests. Such a great app!! Probably the one I use most of all.
