The audio for the paid version doesnt work on my iPad or iPhone. All other app audio works fine. And the free version audio works fine.
Hello! Could I please get help redeeming the full version, purchased ElmoLovesABCs on my phone and would like to get it on my kid’s tablet the option to redeem does not let you click it. PLEASE HELP!
So I was making a funny card and it won’t let me save it and this is garbage trash 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Sound does not work….
I don’t usually write reviews for apps but I feel like I should for this one. ElmoLovesABCs has an advertisement in it that catches the eye of every single child who would ever use it and because of it the kid ends of clicking on ElmoLovesABCs advertisement instead of playing the game that we paid for him to play I think that this is a bad move and that they should reconsider how attentive attention grabbing that advertisement is so until they make a change so that my son can actually play the game rather than have his attention drawn to the bottom right corner every time he tries to do some thing. I am giving this a one star review and you bet that I’ll be watching because we are stuck inside because of coronavirus thanks for listening to my Ted talk
It is very difficult to trace the letters even as a parent I get frustrated on how the tracing on ElmoLovesABCs works. It doesn't utilize the whole screen so there’s a lot of waisted space which results in all of the buttons being very small. The whole point of ElmoLovesABCs is tracing the letter you select so if they make tracing simpler (for toddlers) it would be a whole lot better! It is very difficult to trace the letters. ElmoLovesABCs lags constantly. They also don’t utilize the full screen so there’s a lot of waisted space which results in all of the buttons being very small. If they could fix the lagging and make tracing simpler (for toddlers) it would be a whole lot better!
The videos and songs are great but function of ElmoLovesABCs is missing the mark.
ElmoLovesABCs was great until now the new app icon is popping up on the screen nonstop trying to get us to upgrade again. My son can’t even play ElmoLovesABCs now because of the icon and there is no way to make it go away unless you upgrade or buy other games. Terrible. I want a refund
My 2 year old really enjoys all of the options in ElmoLovesABCs, including drawing, videos and games, and I love that she gets to learn while she’s playing, but I’m disappointed that I cannot get the make your own card feature to work. Every time I try, it freezes and I have to restart ElmoLovesABCs .
My grandson is constantly pressing the tab for the adults and he gets frustrated when the math problem shows up. He’s going to be. 2 soon and just wants to play his game not always have to ask Nana for help.
The new parental and personal features are nice, but ElmoLovesABCs seems to sacrifice some of the feedback form earlier versions. For example, the previous version would say "Elmo thinks you picked a great letter." each time the child would choose a letter. That's misinform now. There were also more vocal instructions for the letter games. They don't play now making it unclear what the child is supposed to do. I'm not sure why these things are missing. Maybe it's a bug because this little bit of audio can't take much space. Hopefully these will be fixed soon.
ElmoLovesABCs is great! I originally had the lite version but my 20 month old liked it so much that I thought I would splurge and get the full version. Now when we go out, she recognizes letters and tells me which ones they are and she's not even 2 yet! I attribute most of that to ElmoLovesABCs. The only sound complaint I have is that sometimes it seems like it's playing two sets of audio at the same time, only off by a second or two, which is kind of annoying. Other than that, I haven't had the other audio problems other reviewers are mentioning. I think ElmoLovesABCs is well worth the price!
I am giving it 4 stars because the screen is super sensitive. One wrong touch and whatever you are watching is cut off. This very much upsets my daughter.
ElmoLovesABCs itself is great. It's fun and entertaining. My daughter loves the videos and the coloring pages. It's great for learning. The Sesame Street company did a great job.
Just try to fix the screen sensitivity so it does not interrupt video or whatever you are doing. Maybe a button can come up asking if you want to stop the video. Not really sure how to fix that problem.
My littlest started playing this game for about 10-15 minutes most mornings about 4 months ago. I haven't taught him any letters otherwise (he's only two, and we have focused on leaving colors and shapes), but his letter recognition is fantastic because of this game. There are probably 100 short videos included and each letter has three corresponding objects. Once he's a bit older there are more games (tough the picture that starts with the sound "eh") to help him learn not only the names of the letters, but the sound it makes. Well done, Sesame Street!
Sesame Street was and still is a very big part of the. and while I’m well above the age recommendation I wanted to buy a anyway. I enjoy the many features of this game especially the video portion as you get to see videos from the classic sesame street days. I love that as it evokes a lovely feeling of nostalgia. Particularly. for me the “Cookie starts with C” song does this best and I love the addition of that song into the game and appreciate it very much. I also think that from an educational standpoint children will learn their ABC’s while doing so in a fun and interactive way. Great job with this game. I l love it.
My 2.5 year old daughter has been in speech therapy for over a year. We recently had a big word explosion (her first ever). Tonight she read off every letter on a book about colors, completely unprompted. I know it's because of ElmoLovesABCs. We live in a rural area and she gets to play this game on trips to Target as the store is 45 mins away. I also love that the videos that play are not contingent on web access, they are built into the download so they will always play no matter what. I don't often pay for preschool apps but I am so so glad we paid for this one.
It's amazing how much my son has learned from ElmoLovesABCs. At 2 1/2 he can identify uppercase and lowercase letters, and he had so much fun learning it! ElmoLovesABCs has given us respite when out to dinner, waiting in line, grocery shopping, or doing anything else that a toddler has no patience for. There is so much to do, all in one app. This only downside about ElmoLovesABCs is that they have to “write” the letter by tracing an outline to unlock the letter, every time. I would suggest having an arrow or button to push to skip this step for the younger kids. But it also requires parent and child to do ElmoLovesABCs together, which is not a bad thing. Overall, a very education and fun app.
Apollo, my two-year-old grandson, is on the go constantly exploring everything (think getting into!) he comes in contact with UNTIL I introduced him to ELMO LOVES ABCs on my iPad. ElmoLovesABCs is perfect for his learning and his imagination. There is plenty to do--choosing letters to trace, coloring as he traces them, singing along with Elmo, watching great video clips, and coloring in Sesame Street characters that he loves. And there's a lot more to do. One of my favorite things is that after I've made the 2 hour drive home, Apollo can color another masterpiece on ElmoLovesABCs , and his mom can easily snap a photo of it with her own iPad and text or email it to me. GREAT APP!
I love ElmoLovesABCs! All of my kids have loved using it since 2012. My one year old son laughs and smiles at Elmo, and enjoys the videos the most. The cards are a fun idea too! My oldest helps my son draw the letters, and on his own he colors the pictures and does the “hide and seek” feature (drawing on the screen to reveal the letter pictures) 5/5! Definitely recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ok so Elmo loves abcs was a cool game but I can’t make a card pls fix that glitch please this time for real! Thanks!
This game is absolutely perfect. My three year old loves it. She went from playing this game on and off for a week to identifying letters and knowing what words start with which letter. It literally advanced her alphabet knowledge farther in one week than the last 8 months in preschool. It's a fun game to watch her play and filled with classic Sesame Street video clips. The best feature by far is that all of the video and audio are downloaded to your device, meaning no Internet connection is required to play.
HIGHLY recommend.
