I don’t need to get the paper delivered anymore and search for the actual paper outside in the snow or non-existent. I don’t have to sit at the kitchen table to read it or fold it. I have large type anytime and it is promptly delivered and I receive a notification on my iPad that it is here. A month of old papers are kept in memory- I’ve never looked at them and I don’t have to recycle. The best part- it’s not as expensive as the real paper. This is pretty simple compared to the complicated actual paper. There have been glitches when the paper was delivered 1/2 hr to an hour later, but it is there! One time they forgot the Sunday funnies, they did show up a day later with an apology.

I like PioneerPresseEdition as it is easy to read the paper even on a small screen. You can pick an article and it will place it in text and combine all the pages. I do crosswords and it has a decent rendering that will print out. Some times the crossword boxes are cut off because of something PioneerPresseEdition does to render the puzzle for printing but all in all it does a good job.

Since receiving our paper version of the SPPP has become unreliable my wife have come to rely on the SPPP app more frequently.

It’s easy to navigate regardless of how we’re “paging” through the paper. Even individual comics can be called up on our iPad and iPhone.

I value the Pioneer press app and have used it for many years now. Having said that, PioneerPresseEdition has a few issues. One is you have to start it up twice, because the first time brings you to a sign in page. The second is it frequently mixes up copy among stories, particularly the short Newsbriefs. Other than that it’s great and I appreciate it.

I enjoy reading the paper online except for issues here and there where an article begins and as I read along, it switches to a portion of another article, and then back to original article. Also in daily paper the names in obituaries all run together and not in list form as in Sunday’s paper. Now if you could get ads in Sunday paper online too . . .

The Pioneer Press app is a good one for the way I like to read the news. I don’t like generally getting news from the internet. PioneerPresseEdition reads like a newspaper. Only issue is the updated app doesn’t allow me to share articles via social media, text messages, etc.

I really like this the Pioneer Press app! I have used it for many years since I stopped buying newspapers out of boxes or having them delivered to my home.
It’s so much easier to use than trying to search a website for news. Yes, it’s always a yesterday’s news, but that works for me. The only issue I have is it used to allow for sharing an article through social media, but the newest version doesn’t allow it, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

Really like being able to access the newspaper by clicking on PioneerPresseEdition as opposed to signing in. It’s easy to navigate through the various sections and articles.
On the negative side, sometimes the copy gets scrambled and it gets confusing trying to decipher which lines belong to which article. Also, in the obituaries, the list of names needs to be clarified either by separating them with semicolons or by putting only one name on each line.

This version works better than than the previous version, makes navigation clear, stories are easier to read, you have lots of options, and isn't buggy. My only complaint is that it takes a long time to load up, and that if I go to another app for a moment, it has to reload again, for the same day's paper. I do appreciate that this new version works on my 2013 iPad, which doesn't happen with all apps and services.

I’ve been reading the Pioneer Press for over 52 years. While I spent most of that time with the printed editions, I really now love being able to browse each one with my tablet. Zooming in/out, jumping to further pages for split articles, tabbing to sections and sharing articles are all great. Thanks!

Technology is great, when it works. PioneerPresseEdition was easy to learn and where to click for what is clearly displayed on screen. Has worked without issue since day 1!

I’ve been a subscriber to the paper for decades, but have received it digitally the past few years after the onset of some vision issues. Being able to increase the font size online makes daily reading much easier and more enjoyable. This is a great and convenient app!

I really enjoy PioneerPresseEdition. I can be having a conversation with someone and reference an article I read in the paper and open PioneerPresseEdition to show them the article, or a picture. Love having older editions available as well.

Your digital app is easy to follow and navigate between pages. Also, thank you for not continually asking me to renew. I have a subscription, I will renew for sure, however, pop ups are really bothersome and you do not do that. My father loved Pioneer Press; he passed down to all of us kids.

The pioneer press app looks just like the paper and it is right here at my kitchen table when I wake up in the morning. I don’t have to go outside to get it. It arrives on time. I can make the print larger when my eyes are tired. Doesn’t get much better than this.

I have tried several times to access the paper’s content on line by registering but I can’t. The paper doesn’t recognize me although the “my account” section correctly states my subscription. So, this is the only way I can get what I’ve paid for.

Overall pleased with paper app. I’ve noticed that the grid doesn’t align with the screen at times. Starting up PioneerPresseEdition also doesn’t recognize my login automatically so I have to restart and then it opens.

This excellent app allows you to isolate individual articles or, if you prefer, view the paper in its broadsheet form. You also can view past issues. All around superb app!
