Awful

I just downloaded GeniusBabyFlashCards and all it does is plays the intro over and over again. Extremely disappointed.

Not age appropriate

The creator appears to know nothing of child development.
1) Adult ads for singles
2) Halloween section was ghoulish and some images were much to scary for the "1-4 year olds" the description claims to target.
3) exotic dancer listed as a profession in a baby app, really?!
4) Tool section had a disturbing bent toward the sharp and dangerous (ax, saw, razor blade, plane, etc). It is wiser NOT to make children feel familiar with these until they are old enough to understand the concept "dangerous-don't touch". There are so many Not dangerous tools they could show instead, but chose to skip ?
5) (minor compared to above) frequently poor image selection (blurry, vague, important parts falling outside of visual area, extreme--like a 12 inch syringe needle--that'll help them over their fear of the doctor, especially since shots are included twice under different names...). Odd gaps (why would you include laryngoscope but not stethoscope, the number one tool they see the doctor with and not scary at all?
Not a good app, even free.

Pointless Ads

My 3 year old really likes GeniusBabyFlashCards . The only issue I have are the ads on the bottom. The were not thought out for a toddler app and she accidentally opens them trying to press the small next button to go to the next picture! She begins to get frustrated and losses intrest!

Pretty Good

I like GeniusBabyFlashCards but don't use it a lot because my toddler always presses the home button on our iPad 2, making GeniusBabyFlashCards close. He doesn't mean to do it, but he is drawn to that button. I tried to turn the iPad around so it is away from him, but GeniusBabyFlashCards doesn't change orientation. It has one and only one mode as far as that is concerned.

Ok

GeniusBabyFlashCards is ok except for the Christmas and Halloween categories. 1. Christmas is about the birth of Jesus. A nativity scene would have been nice. 2. I don't want my 2 year old child to see ghosts or zombies. I will be removing GeniusBabyFlashCards for those two categories.

Remove Halloween Photos

My daughter is traumatized by the Halloween pics. I have to remove GeniusBabyFlashCards from her iPad because when she gets to that section she gets so scared and talks about it all day. I don't think they are appropriate for a toddler. Other than that section, it's a very good app so I guess I will give 3 stars.

Fantasic App!

Great for english learners and young kids...

good for a free app

I like GeniusBabyFlashCards because it has a variety of images

Awesome

GeniusBabyFlashCards and all of their apps are amazing. My daughter is almost 2 and her speech and vocabulary are phenomenal, thanks in part to these apps. I recommend them to all parents. The kids enjoy doing them and learn at the same time.

Therapy

Love the realistic pictures for my patients

Mom

I have 3 year old daughter and she was hospitalize few week ago. While she was there and the way she was using medical terminology it was amaze me she really know lots and lots of words because of GeniusBabyFlashCards and with clear pronunciation. Thank you very much too make such a useful Flash cards.

LOVE these!!

These are fantastic. Two thing though it's Duct tape not duck tape (spelled right, just not said correctly) and a picture of sea coral is pronounced as 'corral' on GeniusBabyFlashCards . Other than that these are soooo great. My son loves them!!

Awsome

GeniusBabyFlashCards has helped a 4 year old learn more about animals and there babies and I don't have to say it she will just repeat what the iPod says I think it is a great app and it is good for learning

Perfect

Believe it or not my 3 yr old loves it, she's been been asking about me about the brain, veins, bones, etc, so when I found GeniusBabyFlashCards I couldn't wait to show it to her. Just because she's a toddler doesn't mean I can't expose her to learning material that is way more advanced for her age, she surprises me all the time :) . Try it, don't limit your child's potential!

Get this app. If u have a kids.

I like GeniusBabyFlashCards. This very great app. U can teach your own kids in GeniusBabyFlashCards and he or she can learn very well.

great app, no kidding!

using iph 4 & latest app update: my 4 y/o has used/loves GeniusBabyFlashCards for 1+ yrs., esp. human anatomy. recently i had her in the ER w/her grandmother & me, & after 1 dr. & 2 nurses asked many questions & left, my 4 y/o took my phone, found GeniusBabyFlashCards & was looking at the large intestine picture. all kidding aside, when a 3rd nurse walked in & asked a question, the 4y/o spoke up, pointed to the colon & told her "this is where the problem is." i guess she thought a picture just might help them out!!! lol😃!! no kidding!!

Excellent !!!

I find GeniusBabyFlashCards very educational for increasing vocabulary in my 2yr old. I don't find anything offensive nor overrated for a child. It is great!!!

Great app

My 18 month old loves these flash cards. My only thing is they show duct tape as "duck" tape.

Love it for building vocabulary! 

My 2 year now says "stethoscope", "otoscope", "laryngoscope"!!! She can identify all these and more with the quiz mode. Incredible app!!
