Just doesn’t cut it. Sorry. There’s other free apps that aren’t so obtrusive with the ads. So ya can’t really say “well it is free so that goes along with it”. The other completely free knot app only has little ads down on the bottom and never takes you away from your page as well as have to x outta it in order to move forward. Not animated like the other app free app either which pic to pic is handy but once you see tying in animation pics seem and are so less than. I know there may be a paid version but that’s actually keeping me from paying for the paid app instead of making me want more it made me want less and with a quickness as well.

The pop-up advertising is extremely annoying. I would upgrade but refuse to support a product that has this type of ads at any level.
Follow-up: can't believe it got worse. Now there are animations that you can't stop playing or bypass.

App was great and user friendly until the most recent update that is ads on top of ads.

This is an excellent app that shows you how to tie some very useful knots . However the whole thing is spoiled by the fact that you have pop-up ads about every 30 seconds

To many Advertisements. Not enough time to review the Knot before another stupid advertisement pops over the screen and you can't close the Advertisement for another 5 or so seconds. I would pay for KnotGuideLite to remove the advertisements.

Too many ads including ones covering entire screen as you tap your way through tying each knot requiring you to tap 'x' to close out. Useless app to say the least.

Used to enjoy KnotGuideLite. Once had 3D step by step animations. Had even paid to have KnotGuideLite. At some point the animations went away and the ads came back. What happened to when paying for an app ads went away?? Am deleting KnotGuideLite and going with something better. At this point anything would be better. Good riddance!

All these developers care about is how much money they can get from you. It’s 36 dollars a year subscription for content that doesn’t change. Don’t even think about getting the lite unpaid version unless you want to watch the same stupid sad commercial every time you take the next step in tying a knot Also the directions and content are mediocre at best

…with no way to change the default audio settings. There are plenty of better knot tying apps out there with animated instructions, larger libraries, no auto-play ads with sound, and that don’t want a whopping $30+ *per year* to remove those obnoxious ads.

I’ve had KnotGuideLite for years, and it used to be a lot less annoying. I’m glad they finally gave me a reason to delete it.

This used to be one of my favorite apps and I often used it to review knots. However, in the latest version, the pop-up ads appear after every page of knots, and tapping the corner "x" doesn't close the ads, until tapped a dozen times, and sometimes not at all.
A good app spoiled.

Reasonable app until an upgrade caused ads to break in every time you choose a knot. Ads have audio and cannot be stopped until timer expires.

As the title suggests, this is a nice little reference app on knots. Might be a 4 or 5 rating, but the advertising is beyond obnoxious - too many ads, too often, taking up (taking over( the entire screen. What a pity!

After every knot view you get 5–6 seconds of an advertisement most of time, the same one every time.

The fact it’s free is always great. And they need to make money some how. But ads on every knot is annoying enough to want to go pay for another ap.

This use to be my favorite knot tie app but now they force an advertisement after every knot you look at and it even pops up sometimes randomly but the worst thing is it did not allow you to close the advertisements. You have escape/close KnotGuideLite and then come back.

I wouldn't mind paying $0.99 for app but have lost confidence in it.

Love KnotGuideLite , obviously the adds are going to be annoying, but that’s like any app you download.
