I had major issues with my account! I bought the 1 month recurring subscription, and after I bought it HorseandRiderMagazine completely quit on me. I relaunched it several times and it kept quitting. I checked my apple Id and Horse&Rider took the money from my account, but I couldn't read the magazines!! I restarted my iPad and got one issue, but It said I wasn't connected to the Internet so I couldn't login to get my previously downloaded issues!! I checked my apple Id again and I had $8 missing from my account! The subscription only cost $3.99!! Where did my money go?! I don't want this mess happening to anyone else so DO NOT BUY ANY SUBSCRIPTIONS!!!!
I don't think it's fair or worth it to look at a magazine for 2 SECONDS! I pull it up, look at it for a few SECONDS and it closes out. Pulling it up 20 times would not get a page read. If u are unable to fix this problem, I would really appreciate it if I could have my money back. It's not fair to me that I lost my money on a magazine I can't even read or even look at. I bought the spring issue, I don't know if its just a problem with only that one magazine, or if its a problem with all of them, but I am NOT going to even try to buy another one taking the chance of loosing my money again! PLEASE FIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think I have waisted $2.99 because in order to download other issues it costs the same $5 as if I purchased at Tractor Supply. I would think a proper price would be $1 an issue to download seeing how there is no cost for print, only your employee(s) to format digitally for HorseandRiderMagazine. Very dissappointed.
It wanted me to pay $5 for every issue. I rate a one star..
Are you freaking serious? I paid $2.99 so I could pay to download magazine issues? Why on earth wouldn't I just subscribe to the magazine or go buy it?! I fail to see the reasoning behind a cost for HorseandRiderMagazine. HorseandRiderMagazine store needs a trial-basis purchase option... Don't waste your money on HorseandRiderMagazine--just go buy the magazine. I wish I could give negative stars.
Just bought the April issue -- paid for it "purchase successful" and it is nowhere to be found. Not in my library, not anywhere. Worthless.
I really enjoy reading the magazines and I think it is a great app overall. I have recommended it to most of my equestrian friends and family.

I love the fact that I can buy Horse and Rider issues and Subscriptions to read on my iPad! I live in South Africa and the paper copies of the magazine cost 3x the price I pay for the electronic copies. Another awesome benefit is that I can buy subscriptions! Subscriptions of the paper copy magazine are unavailable in South Africa.
The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars and not 5, is that I feel HorseandRiderMagazine can be "clunky" and doesn't always run smoothly. I would love to see HorseandRiderMagazine a bit more streamlined and effective.
