Hindi Baby Flash Cards Reviews

I was told brown and gray are wrong in HindiBabyFlashCards. I checked multiple apps and vocabulary sites and भूरा is brown not gray. Please assist, because I like your app.

I really like HindiBabyFlashCards. I paid for the non-ad version. Stupid app still has ads. This tells me it’s a rip off. App will be deleted.

History has proven flash cards work. Having said that, the most obvious simple improvement HindiBabyFlashCards desperately needs: Hindi words printed with English letters. The native text and translations into English words fall short. I hoped deselecting English words in settings would replace the English translation with Hindi words written in English... but no! Obviously, I want to see the original text and have it translated. For example, a son with a picture of a son... but why not also help me recognize beta is son? Additionally, for those with hearing impairments, seeing beta printed next to son would assist with hearing the pronunciations clearly.

I installed HindiBabyFlashCards to let kids play with it & learn some commonly used hindi words in the process. Sadly most of the words are english words (for ex: car, bus, motorcycle, escalator!, etc). Only u have a person with a hindi accent saying it!

I would give three stars only because lot of words are in English to English for example musical instruments why not add Indian musical instruments instead.

I have the sound button set to yes but we cannot hear any words. What am I missing?

This is a great app. As a non-Hindi speaking mom, I love HindiBabyFlashCards to start teaching my son his dad's native language. Only reasons I gave 3 stars instead of 5: others in my situation could use both the words spelled out in English letters as well as the translation maybe in a corner. Some of the pictures could have 2-3 possible meanings and only a parent who knows Hindi will know for sure what it is. I also agree with the review regarding too many "cards" with pictures and the word(s) being nothing more than an accented English word: ex:"suit". However: if the only word for the item is in English, it is helpful to know.

The colors category has gray and lavender but not blue, green, orange... Very strange!
Also, the transliterations might be helpful.
Still, I'm hoping to catch a word here and there when watching my favorite Bollywood films, so thanks for creating!

HindiBabyFlashCards is wonderful! I would have given it 5 stars if there could be an English pronunciation below the devanagari.

Excellent app for introducing hindi to ur kid...my kid has picked up so many difficult hindi words from here..we are impressed.

Just downloaded HindiBabyFlashCards and played with children. Great first impression. Voice is very sweet and pleasant. Material seems to be well organized. You may want to consider introducing an advanced level learning app also. As a review, I do not hesitate to say "two thumbs up."

Such a nice app for kids to learn Hindi! My 2 year old loves it. Even I learnt some words :) Voices and pictures are very good quality.

This is a very child-friendly app that makes learning Hindi fun and enjoyable! I love the fact that it has pictures for words. And even the words are written in both English and Devanagari! It has shapes and colors, and even the word "Indradanush" meaning Rainbow with a beautiful rainbow picture. I am very happy with HindiBabyFlashCards. I give it Five Stars.

I have a boyfriend from India! I have ancestors from Paris, Madrid and I was born in Brasil!!!! Uff imagine my accent! I got it app and it's so perfect that I impressed so much my boyfriend that he is truly crazy for mr now. We have fun. It's great. I got some hindi podcast also to help but it's very simple , easy to use and repeat, great quality image, get it!!!!!

My granddaughter is biracial and I want to show her I embrace all of her heritage. She just turned 1 and I feel like as she learns both English and Hindu. Hopefully I can keep up. Cards are great

I am learning Hindi as a grownup and I think these flashcards are great for me, I have learned so much in just a few hours of playing with HindiBabyFlashCards, because it makes it fun.

I love the pictures and clear pronunciations. You can really hear each sound clearly. The words are in english and devangali script which is super helpful. So far no crashes, and it is organized well and is fun and easy to use. Thank you!

My sixteen month old loves and can label most of the animals :) we use this for urdu.
