Was better last year. App got progressively slower each time I used it. Searching was difficult as typing lagged more and more, with the letters slowly popping up. The calendar sync stopped working once on the playa. Five stars for being invaluable, one star for execution.

Great app and helpful for discovering the wonders of BRC.
Only wish I could sort my favorites by date and time to have an agenda for each day.

Really like iBurn2024 overall, very helpful.

Sometimes it doesn't let me switch weeks unless I restart iBurn2024

I wish though there was a search engine where you could add a key work and it will help you to find the art installation or camp you are looking for (like in google when it says : " maybe you are looking for the following ...."

This was amazing to have and so helpful. The map was especially helpful when I needed to find bathrooms. Also, for when street signs were removed and as a first time burner, it was very easy to get lost. Thank you for making my burn more enjoyable. I’m utterly grateful and I look forward to the new version this year. See you in the dust

Thanks so much for creating iBurn2024 so that we can be much more informed while on the playa.
I am not sure why but my app never knew where I was while my partners worked perfectly. We both have the iPhone 13 pro.

If I hadn’t had iBurn2024 I would have had a very hard time finding my way back to camp on several occasions, and I usually have great orientation. You need iBurn2024 especially if it's your first burn.

And a spirit visited me. His name was Smithy McDurkin and he taught me how to whistle. You see, I had not learned up until that point.

Smithy was an old timer, back from when tickets were not a thing and you could drive around, shootin’ on the playa.

Well, I thought it only fair to share something with Smithy. So I reached into my hamster holder and pulled out the iBurn app.

When Smitty laid eyes on iBurn2024, they went wide. His pupils dilated, and then they rolled up towards the sky. He let out a wheeze, a long aching moan, and then shrank to the ground.

His body turned into dust, and Smithy became part of all of us.

To this day, I still whistle a little Daft Punk tune for Smithy when I walk along the trash fence.

I’ll never forget the time that iBurn made him legend, and nor shall you.

You will likely not have connectivity on the playa unless you own/rent a satellite phone. The Playa is bigger than you think. iBurn2024 WORKS on the playa (without internet connection) and is excellent for both helping you navigate, providing location info, listing current events (more dynamic than the White Pages). I have found iBurn2024 invaluable for BRC.

And already for 2024 is helping me a lot (even with the locations still restricted).

I wish there was a way for folks going up to build to unlock a bit earlier. I was really hoping to print it some paper-based adventure routes using data from iBurn2024 . But I realize the embargo on location data has to do with BM Org rules, not the developer.

I also feel like search isn’t working quite as well as it used to. But that’s a small complaint relative to how great iBurn2024 is.

Great app on the playa- used it a lot not only looking up what was near but helping the vast amount of Burners who came to our camp asking for directions l.
One suggestion is to add a ‘I’ve seen it checked off’ area for the list Playa art. Be great to see if I could make it out to all of them!

I used this in 2023 and it was crucial to finding my way around, and getting to events and finding food if I was hungry and away from camp. Also when mudpocalypse threw all our chips in the air, and the city was halfway deconstructed I was able to find my way around after the man and temple burned. It is really easy to get disoriented sometimes after a night of getting wonky and wild, and iBurn2024 certainly helps a ton. Great job developers! 5 stars for you! Many blessings! Public comments would be good. Would also like to see events be searchable by location. Filter for location or by type.

This year’s version was a great improvement from last year’s. The GPS map is the most useful thing when you get turned around or lost. The up to date event listings and search are so super useful and work so much better than last year. Thank you for doing this.

The iBurn app is a great way to find out when and where to go at BM. It is also an important safety feature. In a dust storm, the location tracker is essential. Loved it. To rely on your phone, bring plenty of power banks.

I used your app for my first burn, I loved it, I really believe I would not have been able to see and so as many great things, with out it. Great search features.

iBurn2024 really helped me organize my burn and let me discover lots of cool events and camps I would

I got completely turned around in the dust storms and tried to find my way back to Deathguild. I found myself walking my bike in a direction that my companion questioned. Quick thinking I pulled out my solar charged cellular device and found that indeed I was apparently heading towards 1130 and deep playa. Thankful to this handy software for helping me not strand myself at the trash fence!

Awesome app for getting one’s head around the Playa! Have used in burns past and found it very helpful. Hope the data/content are fully cached / self-contained for offline use when Home :)

A most have during your burner stay! Once its downloaded it works within Black Rock City without internet connectivity (even in airplane mode that saves phone charge). An interactive map (your camp location can be saved), a list of art displays and camps with their descriptions and coordinates, a list of daily events with locations & time… do I have to say more? A really well developed app that would enhance your Burning Man experience.

Loved everything about iBurn2024! My only wish is that the DJ lineups and locations were also listed. But maybe that's something for next year?

Very useful to tag the events you want to attend that week. Of course the playa will have other plans for you but you can then see what you missed out.
Is there a way to add your own points of interest you may want to go back to? I could not figure out how to do that.

Just one question. How does iBurn2024 utilize gps to help get you around but you are unable to use your phone to text or call (for some people). Hmmmmm. I have zero desire to use my phone in that capacity but it makes me wonder...I think the Playa does provide. Welcome Home.

Been using iBurn2024 on playa since it was first introduced and it only gets better and easier to use each year. Highly recommend and a big THANK YOU to the developers for gifting it...

Great app, really helpful and accurate. Gave me great ideas for what was happening nearby and in certain time frames. So easy to find events with iBurn2024.!!! One thing which was my fault, couldn't keep my phone charged all the time, but iBurn2024 was great!!

Although I love free wandering around the playa like a leaf on the wind iBurn2024 has helped me discover some really cool camps and events I may not have found otherwise, it’s easy to use and well designed, thank you for this gift ! Will def use it again this year !

After 10 years of missing out around BM (too spaced out to read the book) this year iBurn2024 made the experience much richer and the art much more appreciated ...

For those of us who used our devices during the burn (for me it was photos) iBurn2024 was amazing! I didn't even need the survival guide more than once. The GPS is the best.

A great experience ! Awesome, eye opening , fun, meeting so many beautiful people, making new friends, learning so much, sharing ideas, hope , love, metamorphosis, release, letting go of crap, setting mind more free, making commitments to self. There are so many more adjectives and phrases that describe the experience! Again, great and awesome!

Bravo, this was a far more helpful and less moopy way to find events and camps over carrying paper.

I volunteer for both on- and off-playa teams and ALWAYS recommend iBurn to participants! The timing feature for walking and biking and the Favorites markers are great!!!

So well put together and endlessly helpful. While the majority of the fun at my first burn was wandering and exploring, iBurn2024 was so helpful in finding nearby spots to check out and finding my way back to camp at night! Cheers to the developers
