I have had it ... tried it this app again ... same amateur writing clickbbait and upworthy titles, you won’t guess what is next ........ This is final. Deleted FOREVER.
(edit) it just keeps getting worse and worse - with childish amateur blog style “ questions “, “ opinions “, “ advice” for Ferrari and other top 0.1% % vehicle owners ... >> voting down further — will stop reading and delete CarBuzz — In recent weeks it has become very frustrating and tiring to read, up-worthy clickbait titles (you won’t believe, x will have one crucial fix, y owners must read this, ... ) , negative opinion piece after negative opinion piece, all simply because the author dislikes something or another ... bunches of short articles with images that don’t apply ...... stick to AUTO NEWS, stop writing personal opinion pieces, tearing down brands, vehicles, etc. when those brands or vehicles are perfectly acceptable. Very unprofessional and downright amateuristic writing at times, like school kids are trying to play newspaper or car magazine.
And fix the comments! Fix the half a dozen unreadable grey bubbles with grey text and put ALL comments in 1 single thread / bubble.

I love CarBuzz, love love love CarBuzz, as a car guy this is a wonderful mix of suv hyper and classic car news, but there is one thing that I would really like to see. Comments. I would really love for the developers to hear what we have to say and that is important, and the writers don’t even have to see the comments, but making a little side not of what we think of the new ford escort or Chevy blazer would make a huge difference in CarBuzz , like talking to other people on your opinions on the car. That is what I want and would love to see it added. Other than that this is CarBuzz I use the most on my phone and will use it for the rest of my life.

I’ve been a long time user of this app now, for the last 4-5 years, and have seen it change quite a lot over time. While it may not be the best option for automotive news out there, I love that there is a consistent release of articles on a daily basis, along with an interesting community that you can communicate through with the comments section. It does have its faults, like the occasional grammar error, or recycled articles about the same car over and over, but I’ve really enjoyed CarBuzz over the years, and think it’s a solid place to get the latest car news from.

Another update. Down to one star. Images do not download. Reading about cars needs to include images. Where the image should be is a “this app” place holder with “images downloading.” If I use safari, the images are all there. What’s the point of having an app if the browser experience is better? If you want to read this app’s content, just use a browser.

Update: landscape is back on iPad. But CarBuzz on the iPad is just a larger version of the iPhone app. The old design was better. Still, since landscape is supported again, 2 stars.

Sorry, but CarBuzz is lame. The comments are rude, sometimes hateful and almost always juvenile. No landscape on the iPad was the last straw. Using mobile safari is a much better experience. Oh, and why the focus on so called “super” cars? How many of your readers are spending 6 figures on a car?

Definitely in need of an update to kill some bugs. A lot of car apps have disappeared and I hope this one doesn’t. I love reading reviews but it has issues. App crashes, won’t load some pics, if I does load pics an annoying ad comes up, u skip it then it takes u right back to the beginning of the pics, which oddly enough isn’t always the beginning. Also when u double tap to zoom in on pic something’s it does that and sometimes it zooms out. Also the top and bottom bars when looking at pics are “in the way” of the pics. Please fix and keep yourself alive! I will update and give a better rating if they rectify these issues.

“Embrace the future” 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢. So interesting how these people love to make money talking about cars but have no interest in keeping cars around forever for people who actually appreciate them, unlike anyone who works for this company. I guess all these clowns have never heard of a lobbyist before, or they fall into the Oliver Blume camp of disgusting individuals who want to end cars, hate themselves and want to make life miserable for everyone else. I’m all set on all that and I will be driving a gas powered car until the day I die. You can tell electric car fanatics have a low iq because they never want to talk about where the batteries come from, almost as if they fall from the sky as opposed to the reality of child laborers slaving away in the mines all day.

Lately most of the news is 90% super cars, as in cars over $100k. I'm never going to buy a car for that much. I'd like to see more stories about cars that actually get purchased by 99% of the population. It's getting to the point where none of the news is actually informative to a buyer, only dreamers.

Genesis still isn’t one of the car brands listed, after a year of existence!?! Kia stinger isn’t even shown as a car Kia makes after a year of highly anticipated news. Most new cars from 2017 have 3 photos. Pathetic upkeep of CarBuzz .

Who cares about Bentley? They are ugly cars that none buys! Show me cars under $80k, that I might actually consider buying.

Will not rotate to landscape mode. So much effort on change for change sake and forgetting the basics. Cannot go back either. Bye bye this app.

Update: yes the landscape mode is fixed, thank you! However, CarBuzz is really sticky or something when scrolling...does not smoothly flow. It might be the adds or perhaps the photos are too high resolution (they do look nice) for my older iPad Air.

Another update: CarBuzz is really SLOW and getting tiresome. It seems to freeze while loading the nice pictures or ads as mentioned above. Scrolling is painfull. Something needs to change and improve fast. There are other car news apps out there.

CarBuzz is appealing and is a great way to stay up-to-date on automotive news, but the continuing issue of images not loading kind of defeats the purpose of the automotive stories themselves.
Without images, there’s less users meaning less readers meaning less customers to see the ads that are included in CarBuzz so if the added focus is to raise revenue, fix the images or no one is going to look at CarBuzz , thus eliminating customers from seeing ads & advertisers will pull their support.
Having been in the IT world, fixing a image loading issue is fairly simple so PLEASE address the image loading problem!

I was a subscriber of Auto Buzz for years, recently things changed. When scrolling through their articles, actually selecting one, every third to 5th article was for a local car dealership, which took up almost the whole page, so if you weren’t care you would be in the dealership advertisement. When you did go into view an article the same thing. I kept hitting the stop advertisement, which did not stop this from happening, repeatedly. I got totally frustrated with what I would say as being targeted by this dealership. BUT, it’s not the dealership, it’s Auto Buzz that controls this. I will never view them again.

I have been using the this app app for almost 10 years now and every update over the last year or so just keeping making CarBuzz worse and worse. Photos don’t load half of the time, if you want to enlarge the picture in landscape mode you are unable to remove the bar with the title at the top and all the photos on the bottom so you only see a thin portion of the picture, used to be able to listen to music while reading CarBuzz now the adds have become so obtrusive that they shut off your music for no reason. Really have enjoyed CarBuzz but not so much anymore.

Look I really enjoy the content they provide. But Car Buzz keeps adding more and more Ads. It is getting hard to see the content through the forest of Ads. There are ads scattered throughout the article headers. Then each article has 4 Ads. Plus (and this is the worst part), every time you go to a new page 2 pop up ads come up. They interfere with scrolling so I have to wait 2 seconds before I can clear them to read the article. This really slows down the experience and annoys me a lot so I use CarBuzz a lot less than I used to because of all the ads ruining the experience.

I love CarBuzz. I use it everyday and get most of my car news from it. I’ve been an active user of CarBuzz for over 4 years now and I have never had an issue until now. They recently added the pop-up ads that play like a video on your screen. Normally, I have no issue with ads but this one is ridiculous. Every three articles I scroll past I get an obnoxious add on my screen and that have the swipe several times to get to go away. The past few times I was on CarBuzz I exited CarBuzz out of frustration after a couple minutes.

It would be nice if CarBuzz gets optimized for iPhone 11 Pro Max screen sizes. Also, I’ve noticed that sometimes the feed doesn’t refresh even though the badge icon shows that a new article was posted. It would be nice to incorporate a pull down to refresh when you’re at the top of the feed so that it refreshes and shows any new articles. That or just a refresh button would work also at the top bar somewhere where this app is displayed and the hamburger stacked menu.

I love car buzz! The writers are super talented, the content is interesting, and I'm a car enthusiast. I feel like I'm the first one to read the articles when they come out because nobody has commented yet. One suggestion is to make the story selection menu look a little fancier instead of looking like a low budget app. CarBuzz overall is very underrated and should get a news app of the year 🥇 Great job guys, keep up the good work.

Some of their articles are just their opinions on nonsense, the one that got me here to give them a one star review is in one article to tell people that it was just a myth to have to warm up your car before you drive, and just drive it so it warms up quicker, that’s harmful to the engine
Very harmful, especially to the audience that reads the articles are car enthusiasts and beginners at that too, some people have cars with delegate parts that need to be warmed up to prevent engine wear and damage
All of the amateurs who write for this app really have to take a course on how a car works and realize what delicacy a car has to keep them going for longer periods of time

I’ve always loved CarBuzz, but the car reviews won’t categorize the make/model. It just stays at the most recent model review. I’ve deleted CarBuzz and re-downloaded it to see what would happen, but is the same. Now I have to go through the pages to find the car I want to read about. I know you can choose the brand from the cars/topics section. Just a minor fix, thanks.

So the articles have some good content and I like that there’s a constant stream of new articles. However, the UI can be hit or miss.

But my biggest issue is the battery drain. Having it open in the background really drains your battery. In battery management in settings shows that I had it on screen for 9 minutes but it took up 22% of my battery with over 15 hours of background activity. No push notifications or anything. There is no reason for this drain and really makes me question their app development.

A few weeks back, I gave CarBuzz a two star rating mainly due to the infuriatingly intrusive popup ads. I’ve since updated CarBuzz , tried it out for a week and I must say I’m impressed. The new user interface is fantastic! Finally looks modern and intuitive; and those intrusive popup ads are finally gone! Once again, CarBuzz is my go-to for the latest automotive updates.

Thank you for finally updating your app with current models. Now we’ll have to see if you can actually categorize each article to the correct car, normal cars as well, not just super cars. Even though the concept is like the motortrend app, its much better than the old version. Keep everything up to date and I’ll be content with CarBuzz. Definitely needs a landscape view for gallery pictures too.

I enjoy the information presented in CarBuzz and would like to be able to forward articles to friends easily directly from CarBuzz .

CarBuzz works well on my iPhone 6S but on my iPad Air it often will not fetch updated information until I delete and reinstall CarBuzz .

Also, the information in the section about specific brands of cars is usually not up to date. The daily updates, however, are almost always new information.

Articles look much better in larger format as do photos

They’ve listened. Landscape mode no longer an issue. Thank you. Please consider putting a date back on main tile for each article. You can fit two to three times the amount of tiles on the feed screen in landscape mode with two to three columns. In portrait on phone keep it to one column. I’m in CarBuzz almost every day for several years. Thank you for listening.

CarBuzz has great car reviews and always had the latest news. It is always how I catch up on the latest car news. They just upgraded the apps look and fictional design and boy does it look nice . I love CarBuzz , if I could give it a 6 out of ten I would because all the article are amazing I totally agree with what they say like the 2017 Honda ridgline review and the 2018 Ford Focus rs review. 👍🏻👍🏻
