JAZZ RADIO Reviews

Have used JAZZRADIO for at least 1.5 years without any problems. Lately app briefly opens then closes, in a few seconds. It does not happen every time I start it, but it crashes more than it stays up to run. Uninstall-> reinstall does not help, nor does rebooting the iPad. Same app works perfectly on my Pixel 7. Great musical selection, it’s the #1 music app I use, but now it is useless until problem fixed. Help!

JAZZRADIO is my go-to place for smooth lounge jazz, which is one of my favorite genres of music. The selection is nice, and I’ve found an bought some great music this way.

Unfortunately, JAZZRADIO itself is pretty buggy. Sometimes, it won’t recognize your Facebook login, so you can’t use it via Facebook. It’ll say, “that account already exists”. Well, yes. I know. That’s why I’m trying to sign in through it! Not only that, it’ll randomly pause the song. I don’t know if it’s buffering or what, but it’s kind of annoying to have to stop what I’m doing to push the play button every time.

EDIT: The song selection is another problem with JAZZRADIO. Sometimes, they’ll play the same song several times a week, while better songs don’t play again for months. Either that, or they aren’t playing when I’m listening.
Otherwise, I’m happy with JAZZRADIO. Just needs some kinks to work out!

Would purchase if 1 time fee. If one does not purchase JAZZRADIO you have to check it nearly every 5-10 minutes otherwise you’ll lose the music.
I did not have a problem with the adds, as many were helpful,
Basically, if you do not purchase JAZZRADIO you are penalized!

It's not the content. The content is really great. As well as the sound quality. Great! JAZZRADIO is sometimes slow to start and hangs if you are not a subscriber after advertising.

Honestly I use this alot I have 3 channels that are favorites. It is great for car travel as well

OK, this is great app, and worth paying for, as it has a good variety of channels and exceptionally good sound. The Bebop channel is superb.

One thing that seems to be missing is a good all-around channel, like a mix of things you might hear on a typical day on a high quality jazz radio station like WBGO.

In other words, I like, but don't necessarily want to listen to ALL "Classic Jazz" or "Saxophone Jazz" or "Trumpet Jazz" or "Piano Jazz" or "Current Jazz" or... you get the idea.

this app is the streaming source of choice for me, and one of only two to which I subscribe. It’s been a significant part of the “soundtrack of my life” for nearly a decade (perhaps more?). JAZZRADIO has gradually improved in its performance in the years since the current app replaced the earlier one, and most of the bugs have been worked out. I appreciate that the audio starts much more quickly than was the case a year ago, and earlier (on the same devices that I’ve used since 2014). Interruptions are significantly less frequent as well. Overall, I’m very happy with this app. Now, if only an Organ Jazz channel could be initiated.... 😄

Great, wonderful, amazing app!
However. I got charged for an annual premium subscription because I forgot to cancel the free trial. My husband was diagnosed with esophagus cancer right after Xmas and I was distracted, I think.
Anyway, we really can’t afford it, so I need to make sure it doesn’t auto-renew. I have looked in my settings of my iPhone and in the iTunes Store and I cannot find how to unsubscribe.
Can you please assist me?

Commercials, I know I can pay a fee and not hear advertising, but the music is so good I’ll listen to the ads, but so many times I’m in a mood we’re I just have to cut JAZZRADIO off and turn it back on later.

With all the radio station out there it isn’t to often you can find a good jazz station. You surpass and excel with a variety of all different styles for all to enjoy!! Thank you!!

I like their music selection, but music stops during the commercial and I have to manually turn off ad screen to keep listening to music.

P.S. I was contacted by tech support and recommended me to uninstall and reinstall JAZZRADIO . So far it’s working fine!!!

JAZZRADIO stops playing when the screen is off after a commercial break. This seems recent and it’s annoying.

When my Instructor from my Jazz class suggested JAZZRADIO ,It was love at first usage and it still is. I Study and I Cook to JAZZRADIO all day long. It’s going to be a great summer. So I have 5000 facebook friends and I will be sharing JAZZRADIO and encouraging this new found love affair. Thanks this app

I have been loving JAZZRADIO. Seriously thinking about upgrading, but I don't mind the commercials. JAZZRADIO helps me study. It actually helps me stay focused on my work. Thank you, and I definitely recommend JAZZRADIO to others.

An all-around fantastic app. I love the variety of sub, genres available, and the playlist introduced me to artists and albums. I’ve never heard before. Rich playlist that definitely expand my musical horizons.

Great music service for music lovers around the globe. Free version is good enough to be streamed to home audio equipment, music quality even at lower bit rate is very pleasant to listen to. Unobtrusive commercial breaks and most of all great selection and channels. Love JAZZRADIO will install in my car audio.

Purchased premium service and am enjoying it. About automatic renewal, not comfortable with signing blank checks for anything. Looked for it at settings as indicated, cannot find where to turn auto renewal off.

This is my favorite jazz music app. Listen to it every day. Stations are great, well selected, variety of styles and instruments, fantastic design, can’t get enough of it! The free version has some commercials but not annoying and just enough. Thanks!

Thanks for giving our family some choice! We enjoy listening to all your radio apps and prefer to support apps that deliver what they promise. Good music with few interruptions. Going premium is where it’s at!!

i subscribe to Classical Radio, which includes Jazz Radio. JAZZRADIO is as fabulous as the music. I highly recommend JAZZRADIO and paying for the subscription. Sometimes it is the little things in life that make the hard times easier.

This is the best music app I have and I have several. I don’t like playlists. I want to be surprised and on occasion thrilled with something I’ve never heard before.
