Contact How to Tie a Tie Advanced Pro Support

I purchased this app on March 31st, 2012. On November 6th, 2012 I was prompted to update the app. After updating, features which were unlocked by my March 2012 purchase became locked. I contacted the developer to ask how to restore my previously unlocked features and the developer informed me that I should repurchase the app. He stated that I would not be charged for the repurchase. On November 11th, 2012 I received an email receipt from Apple indicating that I had in fact been charged. I again contacted the developer and he informed me that it was not his problem and that I would have to contact Apple directly.

I contacted Apple and (despite my explanation of the facts above) was told by the Apple representative that I had purchased a different app with an identical name (“How to Tie a Tie full”) created by the same developer.

I’m extremely disappointed with both the developer and Apple and I recommend avoiding both this app and any others created by this developer.

This app this pretty good for learning different knots. But, the cartoon pictures of the knots when you click on each really brings this down. Without actual pictures of each knot, all the cartoon drawings of the knots look basically the same (with the exception of the really different looking knots like the Atlantic). But I certainly can't tell the difference between an Oriental and a Full Windsor with the app. I'd have to tie each one to tell one from the other.
This app is pretty good with the "mirror" mode and good instructions for each knot, it just isn't as handy as it could have been

I very much enjoy using this app, but after I made a purchase on one phone, I got a new phone and the app would not transfer the purchase to the new phone. I tried emailing customer service, but have not received a responses not the months of waiting. Over all awesome app.
