KAT Country 103 Reviews

KATCountry103 has never worked very well. It would play for a short time then shut off for no apparent reason. Now it doesn't work at all.

The amount and length of time they play commercials is ridiculous! I understand commercials are needed for support.. but wow!

Is there a time limit for usage on a daily basis?? Haven’t heard back from the “app support” yet, but to be fair, it’s only been a day.
But it’s really annoying that it shuts off when it’s sound to keep the dogs quiet.

Anyone else having problems after the new download?

I really like this station, but there is one major flaw about KATCountry103 which I hope will be fixed in the future:
It does not support Multitasking, means if I need to check eMails or something else KATCountry103 will stop playing and close. I know it is possible, Slacker Radio does it, iHeart Radio does it… so it is just something that apparently was not thought of. I don't want having to reopen KATCountry103 and let it connect. I use my phone for tracking the time I spend on certain tasks as well as other clients I need to stream progress live from Photoshop for example.
And while I am doing this I would love to be able to play KatCountry, but as of now I cannot. Too bad.

I REALLY miss listening to The KAT because I live on the coast now and we have no good country here. I've noticed that the sound quality is lacking quite a bit. Sounds as if the input is running a bit too loud for KATCountry103 . Everything sounds distorted even at low volumes. Please fix if you can. Keep up the good work!!

Quality is a little lacking but hey it's functional!

Five stars are for the station. Kat country is a great station! However the AirKast host that powers there radio apps has not worked for awhile now. None of my stations are streaming.

No problems. iPhone 4s IOS 5. May need to reinstall for those upgrading their OS.

I've been listening to this radio station ever since I was a little guy. KATCountry103 make it so easy to keep up to date with what's going on in with the Kat.

I downloaded KATCountry103 to test b/c i<3radio kept crashing. This one doesn't, and automatically switches to speaker when you turn off Bluetooth.

Even though it runs a few seconds maybe even a minute behind what's on the radio it's still nice to have if u don't have a radio around! And I to just heard about it so I hooked it up!!! ;)

Omg!!!! I've been waiting for KATCountry103 for the longest time! I heard about KATCountry103 this morning on the radio and couldn't believe it was real! So I looked it up and here it is! I listen to kat country morning and night! Now I can listen to it wherever I am! Whenever I want :) thank you so much!

I gave 5 stars (out of 10) because HALF of the time I go to use KATCountry103 I get stuck on the Cumulus/AirKast loading screen.

Yes, I understand that I still gave 5 stars out of 5, but that's because I love KAT Country and when KATCountry103 works good it works really good. I just hate that half the time I have to revert to a different app to listen.
