I appreciate that you wanted to update your app but I really dislike everything about it! The navigation is confusing, the 24 hour future is so fast you can’t correlate the prediction to the hour, the layers are horrible on the radar I can’t figure how to get the live radar to keep my current location and yes I have have my location enabled! I really am sad that this is the best you can do I believe I will be deleting and have to find another app to better suit my needs after I have enjoyed and trusted the previous app for quite a long time!
I loved the old app, especially the radar. Since the update I’ve stopped using WJHLWeatherApp entirely and deleted it from my phone. Since this was my go-to app for radar views I’m kind of lost now. New, improved, and different are not necessarily better.
Can’t even read special weather announcement without an ad literally every second. Guess I’ll have to find a more reliable source where I can ACTUALLY read what’s going on. Uninstalled.
The new update renders WJHLWeatherApp unusable. I used to have the info I needed in one or two clicks and now I have to spend too much time trying to find what I need. Deleting it.
WJHLWeatherApp used to be great. The latest update wiped all saved locations and basically lowered the usability of WJHLWeatherApp. It’s not easy to quickly get to what you were looking for like in the previous version.
Absolutely horrible app should have left it the way it was
The radar on this new app is horrible. It doesn’t show nearly the level of detail the old radar showed. The rain is not as detailed, and there are no options to show storm tracks, etc. Our other local station had a weather app which uses the same radar as WJHL’s old app had, so I will just use theirs; hopefully they won’t be changing theirs anytime soon.
I once again have a updated version of WJHLWeatherApp. I wanted just to quickly look at the upcoming week to see what days I can do things outside. Another update, another fail. I had to dig before I could find what I wanted and then it wasn’t as easy to read as the last version. Another unusable app from WJHL. I will look elsewhere for a weather app.
But now it is almost unusable. There is a pop up ad (people loathe pop-ups, btw) that refuses to be ignored. I was trying to read the weather alert, and couldn’t, because no matter how many times I closed the pop up, it popped right back. Thank God it isn’t a tornado warning.
App support appears not to exist—you just get sent to the WJHL website.
This is a shame, because it used to be great, and I would tell everyone, no matter where they were from, to get WJHLWeatherApp. It was always better than their local weather app, and they were so happy with it. Guess they are cussing me now....
P.S., I’ve deleted WJHLWeatherApp and replaced it with channel 5’s. It’s a shame.
The format on this last version went way backwards especially on the weekly and hourly forecast. Much much better the way it was. Put it back. The older version was a 4. This is a generous 2.
The new update is very confusing .
It has too much going on and no clear directions on how to using it.
I've always liked WJHLWeatherApp, A LOT! However, the latest update is bad. I want to see closer real time on the map, not 8 hours into the future. Thanks!
The latest update has pretty much rendered WJHLWeatherApp useless to me. I liked the simple, clean appearance where I could get an extended forecast or hourly forecast. I don’t want to take the time to watch a video that gives less info.
The WJHL weather app was my choice of weather apps until they made the latest change. It was a very easy app to navigate but no longer. I am not one who complains with every upgrade of software but this one was not only unnecessary, it was actually a downgrade.
WJHLWeatherApp needs less pop ups
Right now I cannot update because my phone is version 5 iPhone. The update will not take and I keep getting update notices
Also WJHLWeatherApp is slow especially with radar
WJHLWeatherApp is okay but appears to be slow to update. Matthew has been gone a week and there is a new hurricane at Bermuda and I cannot find info. Mark needs to be active in his blog. WJHLWeatherApp is much like the local news report same story over and over again
Great app. Works fairly smoothly. Maps great.
Would be a 5 but i know people that wants WJHLWeatherApp but can not get because they have an older phone i think it should be available for all model phones everyone deserves to get WJHLWeatherApp if they want it
