(von einem Englisch-Muttersprachler gegeben) In diesem Wörterbuch findet man ein gutes Referenzmaterial fürs tagtägliche, aber dabei merkt man auch einen deutlichen Mangel an üblichem Wortschatz. Das Interface funktioniert zwar ganz praktisch und ist sehr leicht beim Anwenden, besonders wenn man die richtige Buchstabierung nicht weiss. Hauptsache ist, dieses Wörterbuch ist definitiv nicht der Preis wert... bei einem viel niedrigeren Preis (vielleicht $6 oder so) wäre ich nur zufrieden.

A decent dictionary that does have noun plural endings including the genitive case. Very few additional features and noun declensions or verb conjugations missing entirely. At 60,000 words it is a decent dictionary. But, it could be much, much better and should be for the price.

Great, but where's the audio?

Honestly, I like GermanLearnersDictionary . I think it's extremely useful. There's one problem though. The audio sample of the words simply doesn't work. Fix it please!

It's written in a non complicated way to that it's fairly easy to understand the meaning of the word. Additionally, click on any word of the description and it takes you to that word. I miss the flash cards and its test too though, but still 4 out of 5

It has the over 1000 page Dictionary pulled into GermanLearnersDictionary. The only thing, besides a new edition, that could really significantly make it better, is if when one looks up a word one could see the gender of the word without actually having to open up its definition. That would be a great shortcut and feature. I look up words a lot of times just to discover the gender. kz
