I paid for this this app to be add free years ago. Then after the this app app updated suddenly adds reappeared. The only way the fix it was to pay a second time to be add free, which I did. The other gripe I have is Chess nagging me to provide this review. I should have an option when asked to do the review to choose “No, don’t ask me this again.” Instead, I get a pop up every time I play asking for the review. Really? Every time! So, here it is.

This is a beautiful board and so much fun when I can see what to do next. It has taken a while to come back to it as I was struggling to figure out how to end my losing game in Chess . The training module is really helpful. I will have to try some more training before trying to play again.

I’ve only played a few games, however I like the concept of how the system works. As you work on achieving your rating, it plays you at your level and will let you win (so far), however it really makes you think. It’ll make a few stupid moves and then return with some brilliant moves. I’m sure it’ll play a lot smarter as you advance in your rating. It’s a fun game to play and very educational. Well worth the few bucks I paid for it. So far, no problems or hiccups playing it on my IPad.

I am a beginner and I am using Chess to learn to watch the other persons moves. I really like Chess. I have only been playing for two weeks so I don’t win very often. I am over 70 years old, this game is helping my concentration.

I am learning the game and playing against the computer bot doesn’t help learn anything but frustration. Chess helps me learn easier and I actually win sometimes!

Spent years when i was young playing this app with my friend. Couldn’t find anyone as an adult that would take the time to learn. It’s great to be able to play again.

Most challenging of all the computer this app games l've played. What I don’t understand is why the buttons to request a draw or to resign are turned off.

This is a great app, I like to use hints once in a while, then I like to go it on my own. Either way, it gives you lots of choices and keeps my brain thinking!

This is an excellent game which has approved my success when playing others. The hints is a helpful feature. The game is varied. The opponent will not always duplicate the moves made in a previous game. So it’s never boring.

Great this app game! Have spent many hours playing this game. Many hours! Just wished the computer would resign when it is being beat so bad instead of just giving up pieces and prolonging the end results!

I’d recommend. It has a training mode where you can learn, you can play against a grandmaster level bot, you can analyze grandmaster games, and there’s my favorite, the puzzle mode. It’s a lot of fun, and I’ve gotten better at this app since downloading it.

I enjoyed the game, it was easy to understand ,and play, I’ve got get use to and learn all the features this program has to offer, like leaves and different boards etc but I love your version of the I love👍🏽👍🏽

For someone that loves the game (but hasn’t played in years) this is a near ideal match. It can play at quite an easy level for when you are rusty but, as you get better, it will give you a run for your money. The free app is nice but the paid (one time) is well worth it! Many nice features! You spend more on coffee during a work day. 😉 Highly recommended.

This is the best this app app for all levels of play. If you play this app and you want to improve your game, this is the best app available regardless of your level of play! This this app app is awesome!!! It’s my favorite pass time game to play!! It has help me to improve my this app game without a doubt.

I’m learning and this version of this app is great. Lots of hints and the ability to take back bad moves. It also works offline which I like. I see you can make it harder too. Not sure when I’ll need that, but experienced players may like that feature.

This is a very good learning tool. I like the feature that you can take back your moves if you made a mistake. So you can try other moves until you find the one that works. And if you’re stymied, you can try the clue Key. And, that helps the learning process also.

Just started playing, so far so good. It's nice to work on your game as life affords you small moments of time to brush up. Over a week later pretty happy with software. My game is getting stronger and that was the whole intention of DL'n the software. Unsure what stability issues folks were having but I have had no issues.

Thank you for reducing considerably the new lead in ads before the game. Great improvement. I have always liked this this app app the most. Coach is great, in addition to the higher levels. You will easily become addicted. Thank you for taking out the ads.

This is the best app on this app I have ever seen! When I was a teenager I was pretty good at the game, but after I graduated from High School I did not play that much. When I started working in the private sector I did not play at all. Now, after 30yrs, I am now retired and am now able to get back to playing the ULTIMATE game of strategy. I highly recommend Chess.

One function that missing is to have manual setting up the board with pieces and then playing with Chess . This would help to play this app puzzle or analyzing specific games.
