First off I get why this game is 5 dollars but for 5 dollars you have to meet people expectations. When I bought this I expected a hunt but it was just a lock and load shoot Dino’s and leave. Add a better detection system. I believe you just added a radius that is the detection zone but I think you did it all around rather than on the peripherals. Maybe add a food and thirst bar that you fill up by eating mochops and dimetrodons. Make the Dino’s harder to find but still manageable. Herbivores also defend themselves so maybe you should make them dangerous from tail whips to headbutts. Increase each dinosaur size by 2.5x so it feels more realistic. I get that this is a alien planet but the proportions will seem the same next to the dinosaurs. Also make the guns better! Instead of just having the gun in your back pocket why not have it holstered in your hand. Lastly the best feature you can probably add is Dino’s that kill and eat each other for food! If a carnivore sees a herbivore it will attack and kill. Which ever one is the heaviest will win the fight. Also add pack hunting for velociraptor. Make the allosaurus look like a allosaurus. Also make it so this app fight for meals. And make flying bird hunts.

I’ve been playing Dinosaur Hunter for practically half of my life now— And I enjoy the idea of it quite well. However, I agree that this game should meet more standards; And be updated more often since it is the only mobile app from the this app: Dinosaur Hunter series. Being true that this app: Dinosaur Hunter Reborn has been a bigger work in progress, including the fact that its graphics are very well improved apart from this mobile version, and Reborn acquires more hunting perks; I feel like it’s although fair to switch your eyes to Carnivores often, updating it regularly every 2-3 months. Okay— First things first— The recent reskinning on some of the dinosaurs, I have to point out that it made me upset. The other skins that came with the certain dinosaurs when they were released in the game were more original; But now it feels like the reskins gave them the common colors that varied through every dinosaur in the game. It’s not only that, but there SHOULD be more dinosaurs, more diverse wether they’re soaring in the sky or lurking in the ocean’s depths. Also, the graphics are fairly good— But can be improved with smoothing and extra key details. I’m not saying that you have to turn this completely into Reborn, but give this mobile game more thought. With more work, I believe this game is only a couple steps away from #1.

I got this game when I was a little kid on my dads phone and after revisiting it now, it still holds up for me! The graphics are still pretty decent for a tablet game and I like the difficulty you can set for it by not using certain abilities and getting more money for it. The only thing holding this game back for me is an exploit one can do with the T-Rex where you relocate right next to it; the problem is that the coding for the T-Rex forces it to pause and sniff the air every time a player is near, meaning I can respawn right next to it and shoot it in the eye with a pistol, exploiting the game and ho much money one gets. Other than that, a remaster of this game would be awesome, maybe with some new dinosaurs and more challenging content!

I’m pretty sure a T-Rex wasn’t actually invulnerable to fatal wounds but for a piercing shot through an eye. That’s a bit of a stretch and pretty silly limitation. Considering the sniper rifles very limited zoom, poor optics and no ability to calm the shooter down to reduce sway it’s even sillier. If the purpose is to make it an ultimate challenge and prize at least make it a little less ridiculous like say how about a head shot or heart shot as well. I know it’s not impossible to kill a T-Rex now! I’ve done it 3 times, but at considerable effort and several deaths.
That all said, and considering the various mobile devices this app is developed to run on I have no other serious gripes.
The new grass is really nice, and the reskins have added much needed improvements to keep up with more modern iPads. There is room to improve still such as how the dino’s can suddenly change direction in an instant where they should at least have to slow a little bit first before changing direction so dramatically, especially the larger ones.
Keep the updates coming with more realism improvements please.

Love the this app games actually been playing carnivore dinosaurs hunt on nentendo recently really fun just got a dlc pack this game just need an update watch Saturnian target vids about it please add more has not been updated in 3 years at least a add a new feature or patch note to tell us how it’s going it’s almost as if you abandoned the game for so crappy gym building game and tycoons when this game is more promising so at least consider updated bit on good note this game is great played it sense I started playing mobile games. Just please update

I still have the disk copy of this app: Dinosaur Hunter & remember playing this app II at a friends house. They were the hunting games I grew up with. I have no beef with the game itself, accept that you can’t place down tents like you could in this app II & most of the Dino models are A LOT SMALLER than they were in the original games. And the Laser Gun. OH BOY that was a fun fun to use!
The thing I find misleading about this game is the description. It clearly states that there are currently 22 dinosaurs available to hunt yet on the hunting list there is only 18... this game description has said the same thing over the past 2 years and the last time they made a Dino update was early LAST YEAR!
Don’t say there are this many Dino’s when you don’t have the actual amount you say you have in the game & find that your statement isn’t true... I bought PRO versions for Dinosaur Hunter & Ice Age & though the Animals in Ice Age are lit ASF, the Dinosaur Hunter app does not have 22 Dino’s to hunt but only 18.

This is an amazing port of this computer game I used to play long ago. Carnivores has both this app and this app 2 (and some dinosaurs that might be new as I don’t recall some of them). It’s really good and I highly recommend it. There is only one issue: sometimes the sound cuts out and it won’t come back on. I don’t know why it does this and I usually either have to redownload Carnivores or wait a long time for Carnivores to self-reset. This usually happens whenever my big clumsy thumb doesn’t hit the x button on the ads and brings up Carnivores Store.

I love this game and have been playing this since I was a little kid! It has great graphics and cool dinosaurs. However, you have definitely have slowed down on the updates. There are so many new features you could add to this game but you choose to leave the game behind... I have always wanted vehicles, new dinosaurs, a storyline, or maybe even aquatic dinosaurs. But I noticed you have never listened to your fans ideas. Yes, you don’t have to add these features but you could consider them and somehow implement them in a different way.

All I am saying is that this would be the number 1 hunting app if you keep Carnivores relevant to what everyone wants. This hasn’t been updated in one year. I am afraid that this game might be forgotten if no updates come soon.

This game is one of the best games on mobile right now and it could be #1 with a couple of big changes. What would be one of the first big changes would be to add LAN multiplayer. That would give the game a hole new feel and would be incredibly fun. Another thing that I would change would be the terrain physics. It is bland and boring. What would be great would be a terrain editor tool. This would spice things up. Another thing that would be good would be vehicles. They could either be spawned in the terrain editor or found in the destroyed base. These things would turn the game into something amazing that everyone would like.

I started to love this game when I was small , this game made my whole childhood great after few years new updates came out and There were great ,but now the game is just the same I know there’s only person who cares and still do updates please developer please make new updates

I remember when I got my first iPod so many years ago, this was one of the first games I played for because it was just such a great mobile game. Now, almost a decade later and they are still pushing out big updates? Are you kidding me??? Seriously kudos to this amazing team for their dedication and loyalty to the fans of their game. Honestly one of the best games I've played on Carnivores store, a lot of content and a lot of thrill. Whether your a 12 year old kid or a 20 year old, this game never gets boring. Again thank you for being such a dedicated team and I hope to see more great updates like this in the future!

Hey Tatem Games! Keep up the good work with this game. I still remember playing this years and years ago when I picked 1 & 2 up for $10. It's an unlikely game I didn’t think that I'd want on the go, but it seems to me this is the platform that it belonged on to begin with! I also like all of the new additions like guns and dinosaurs.

One thing that I (and I’m assuming others) would really be appreciated is the option for controller support. Sometimes when I'm laying in bed with the iPad, it's a little difficult to hold the iPad and effectively play this game when a controller would really fill that blank.. maybe for a future update this could be implemented?... please? 😊

In the jungle map near the swamp go where the barrier mountains are and you should find a cave go deeper into the cave and you will find some eggs making weird sounds and if you go to I think mount raven a really forgot but if you go a island with a red spot you will find lava, do not go near because you will die. Now onto the safespots, at the original island I forgot the name of, then if you see a Dino near a green oval(The swamp) it cannot Kill you, good technique to kill tyranosaurus rexxes and if you go to the strange crack valley And go inside them they still can’t get you but these techniques don’t work well with gigantiraptors and all mountains work well with safeness.

I have been playing this game for awhile, and by awhile, I mean AWHILE.
And it’s the best game I have ever encountered! Aside from some flaws that don’t really affect the amazing gameplay. It’s a win for almost everything! If you enjoy hunting games about dinosaurs and are sick of the cheap, rushed, and just stupid apps found across Carnivores Store, this game is for you. The graphics: amazing for the age of the game, even the pc version, with less “stunning” graphics is still a beauty! Gameplay: exactly what people are looking for, (PLEASE NOTE) I believe it is intended for the dinosaurs to be more monstrous than dinosaurs in real life, some people can’t stand the unrealistic theme, but I do. As for the flaws that I should have mentioned before... there are none. Even if there are slight bugs, like the dinosaur statistics being slightly off from the dinosaurs in the game, it doesn’t make the game less fun. Thank you tatem and action forms!

Now, I’ve payed this game a year after Carnivores_DH_PRO, came out... But it’s kinda annoying that the spinosaurus is small I agree that a could be medium size and get a more Jurassic park look ya know. And you need to fix the spinosaurus description, 40 feet THATS INSANE even though the red is bigger than it. But what bugs me the most is the spinosaurus call, I think it would be a good idea to switch the death animation call with the spinosaurus call, all of that aside what. Needs to be a major change is to care about your game ALOT more just because your the owner doesn’t mean you shouldn’t listen to us. But doing what the opposite of the community what’s is rude, immature and pretty disrespectful and really disgusting and I am mind blown. But I love this app and I think it would be cool if you made 2 games. this app Deep Sea Hunter, this app ice age reborn and this app Shack Campaign. But I’ll say it again the games are good but here’s a list of things you should consider adding.

-New Weapons
-Day&Night Cycle Mode.

I had this game when I was a 6th grader (I’m in college now) and it has to be one of the most entertaining apps I’ve ever owned. The low quality graphics don’t matter, the experience is top-tier. I specifically recall the feeling you get when you see a dot on your radar quickly moving towards you while hunting any of the this app can be funny to experience. Also this game got me interested in learning about prehistoric life because of the amount of fun I had as a kid. I came back to play it today after remembering why I even like to study biology as a student. Thank you to the developers for making this game what it is, it’s one of those underrated games that holds a special place in my heart.

This was my favorite childhood game and I came back to it. The graphics still amaze for its time, the simple complex of the game but so much to do makes it simply amazing, the customization of weapons the dinosaurs and the land scapes are amazing, but add in times of the day and the fact that it has an affect on the dinos is just insane. I love this game so so much, in my eyes it’s almost perfect, it’s one flaw is graphics they were good when they came out but today it can’t compete with other games, the nostalgia it brings back is enough to even it out and makes the game so good. I wish the Developers could come back together and completely remake this game with newer graphics more weapons more dinos and more landscapes.

Dino hunter is one of my favorite apps on my iPad, I can’t really think of any flaws for this game aside from some of the sizes.
The game has amazing graphics (for its time) and a simple task, to hunt dinosaurs. However the game does have one detail about it that bothers me (no it’s not that half of the Dino’s should have feathers) it’s the scale. While you did a grand job on most of the scaling some of the dinosaurs either feel a bit too big (I.e velociraptor) or way too small (I.e Allosaurus). And granted I haven’t hunted them in a while (especially allosaurus) and you may have fixed the dinosaurs sizes it still really bothers me. Oh and before I’m done with this essay of a review I’d like to say one little thing... the spino and rex feel a few feet shorter than usual.

This game is addictive and really cool. I love the open ended concept. I am a little disappointed as it seems the developers have kind of given up on updating this game. The results have said “more are coming!” for quite a while, and nothing has changed. Shame because I love this game! One thing I think would be cool to implement would be specific missions, like: “Evade a charging Velociraptor” or “Find and tranquilize the injured Stegosaurus” or something along those lines. Awesome game, but it still has lots of potential to get even better!
