MEETUP is engaged in fraudulent practices, punishable by the law. I was charged an "automatic" renewal of about $220.00 without any warning and certainy without my authorization. in February 2024. There is NO group in Northern VA, fact that is not specified before I had paid in 2023. Therefore,I am demanding a refund of $440.00 within the next 10 days with a confirmation by email. If I do not obtain this refuund, my lawyer's number is 703-899-2903 Stephen L. Sulzer. He is eager to go after Meetup with a collecting action. The ratings of Meetup are so desastrous that it won't be a problem to find a considerable numbe of very dissatisfied members. Thank you for your attention.

I am the event host and I'm ready to send communication to only those that have RSVP'd but the button is no longer there for this selection. Where is is and how do I do this now.

I am a member of Sailing San Diego. I can rsvo to an event when home and on my laptop. When I access the same email on my phone,it says I have to join the group to rsvp. I am already a member of the group. Why can't I join the event from my phone? By the time I open the email in

Pricing discrepancy Online it says 14.99 for basic 19.99 for the upgraded I am in the process of registering a new group and it says 27.99 for basic. With the 30% off it’s 19.49 Why is it coming across as 27.99. And can I or how can I get the $14.99 for up to 50 people as advertised? Then I can deduct my 30% from that. Thank you.

This email account is closed . Why can you not give me a phone number to a person so I can have you all fix the problem. This is so frustrating.

New app is unusable

For what it's worth I find the newly launched app very challenging to navigate and pretty much unusable. The old app worked great and things were where you expected them to be. This new app has me adding myself to groups without knowing it because I mistakenly touch the wrong place on the screen. I can't find things when I'm looking for them. I can barely find how to message. I click into my group looking for a list of upcoming events but only see details of the next event. Additionally, I find myself clicking things multiple times to get links to respond. Also, we still can't upload multiple photos at once which was my number one peeve with your old app. Definitely not a fan of this new app. The old one worked really well. Why not just make that one better? This new app is a huge step backwards.

2018 update - the app is still unusable! I'm a programmer by day who can now barely find the list of upcoming events for my Meetup groups. Before there was a very obvious button which showed all upcoming events. Why is that gone? Isn't that the main reason to have this app? Also, the photo uploading process is still just terrible. This new app is a huge step backwards. I wish you guys had fixed the issues with the old app instead of rebuilding it into something we can barely navigate or use.

2021 update - Uploading photos is still so buggy! Constant errors while trying to upload multiple photos. The error is generic and offers no direction to fix the problem.

I've only just made an account. Is this normal?

Sign up was pretty bad on a purely UX perspective. Why is there no exit/done option for users when they're inputting their information? I tapped to enter my age and gender and had no way of finalizing an input, thus couldn't move on to the next field. If I scrolled down to my age, I couldn't hit "ok" or "done" or even a "x" to move to the next section of the sign up form. I opted to just tapping back and forth between things and the screen needed to jump around constantly for me to even be able to reach the "gender" input from underneath the scrolling pop-up for the age input.

Be helpful. UX isn't all about aesthetic appeal. If it doesn't work, it's bad UX, regardless of how pretty it looks.

You then ask me to provide feedback about my thoughts on the app once I finally get to the home page, and I oblige. Only to find that I can't even send the message. No matter what I did, the "send" option was disabled on the feedback email screen. You ask to collect feedback, but ask your users to figure out a puzzle to be able to help you. This review was meant to be sent in the feedback email that you redirected me to 10 minutes ago. I ended up giving up but decided to still try to give you feedback, just through the AppStore - something I'm confident will actually work correctly. I've only just made an account---- is this what I should expect from the whole app?

Not Safe!!!

I have an impersonator on this app! There is someone with my same name, in my same groups and same community with my same likes. Please note that my name is uncommon. You won’t anyone with my first and last name combined. I caught a screenshot of of this other profile with a photo. It is definitely not me, but right after I took the screenshot, the profile photo was removed. I reported this a number of times. At first, I thought I may have had established an account at an earlier time and had just forgotten about it. I checked my other emails but found nothing to confirm that. Now, I have proof that this is an imposter! I want this account deleted and I want a response to my complaint! Otherwise, I have to say that the people managing this app are doing nothing to keep the people who want to enjoy this app safe! I have a valid complaint and I have been ignored! The app is a great idea but I need to feel safe. Is this imposter staking me? Do I need to feel afraid to “meet up” with any of the social groups I’m interested in? I need this imposter removed and investigated! What is going on here? How can this be allowed and after I’ve made complaints? Developers (or whomever) pease, contact me further so that I may send the screenshot. I think I might have to report this to the authorities for my safety concerns... I’m only asking that the developers do their part.
