It seems the developers took a quantity over quality approach to the UI. Everything feels cluttered and in your face. The dashboard is very messy and confusing. If you’re looking for a pure Quran app, this isn’t it. There are way better, cleaner apps (without ads) for reading Quran; apps that don’t try to guilt trip you into giving them money. Overall QuranMajeed does what it says, but it’s not the best by any means.

Some of the “features” aren’t even built into QuranMajeed , but are simply links. The halal places finder just takes you to google maps with “halal” typed in the search bar. It does the same for masjids.

The Quran part of QuranMajeed is also messy. There’s a dock at the bottom of the page filled with buttons that aren’t obvious what they do.

Every time I recite a aya it pauses like at the end and it does over and over again and won’t stop so please fix it QuranMajeed is wonderful except the pausing so thank you and when I leave QuranMajeed it works wonderfully but when I am in QuranMajeed it would be playing and then stop reading randomly then it would switch to the next Aya even though I just started the aya and I just downloaded it like I only have QuranMajeed for 30 minutes and It doesn’t work well please fix this problem and

Overall outstanding application that is very comprehensive for different textual formats, reciters, mushaf views, tafseer, bookmarks, etc. To some the number of different options may be overwhelming, but once you get the hang of it, it is nice to have the options - although I would burry almost all options away into a settings tab and remove from the actual Mushaf viewing page with the exception of audio and bookmarks. As to bookmarks, too easy to accidentally hit the “Reading Bookmark” where you may want to actually hit the other bookmark to mark a spot for memorization or something else - and this is a very big deal as you will lose your spot if you are using this application for daily reading, with no way to get back to the prior spot. It would be better if you could create a new bookmark without losing the old bookmark, or even move the reading bookmark far away so that it cannot be accidentally hit; for this reason I use this application purely for memorization and review, but not for my daily reading - for that I prefer QuranKareem (developers - take a look at how QuranKareem handles bookmarks- much simpler).

I love QuranMajeed, it gives options for who’s voice you want, and the type of Quran and translation you want to see, etc etc. and it tells you how much time you’ve spent on QuranMajeed as well. One thing I can’t stand though is how often it interrupts my reading with ads. I understand you need money since all of this is free, but the ads pop up while I’m trying to read the Quran as well which is frustrating since the function of QuranMajeed is so that people have a resource for reading. Please change this and make it so that ads pop up at other times like when you open QuranMajeed or leave the Quran part. Thank you

ماشاء الله, QuranMajeed is amazing. It has absolutely everything you need, ranging from multi-lingual translations for Quran to a Qibla finder. You can easily memorize Quran with QuranMajeed, and it can encourage the younger generation with their fun modern features. Absolutely recommend to all my brothers and sisters who have a device (الحمد لله) that they can download this on. You can watch Makkah and Madina live. You can also read Quran on a digital book with pictures, without pictures, and listen to a projected video. What I really liked about QuranMajeed is that you can pick the reciter. When I was little, in Iraq we had to listen to the channels the government allowed to air on television, unlike modern days now (الحمد لله). At maghrib usually Quran would air, and the reciter would always be Basut Abd As-Samad. I always listen to Basut Abd As-Samad’s beautiful recitations on QuranMajeed. The best part about it is that they don’t put a price the book of Allah (SWT). Its absolutely free, ماشاء الله. May Allah bless the developers with good health and happiness.

Alhamdulliah for QuranMajeed and JAzaKAllah to the makers. QuranMajeed is amazing. So many options. I’m not picky so QuranMajeed is perfect for me and has helped me so much!!! So many different options and it has everything. I started reciting the Quran and eventually picked back up after I had not read for so many years , the side by side English translation helped me a ton. I was able to finish the Quran once fully and then started reading the Arabic version then I discovered that the tafsir was included!!! I started reading that as soon as I finished the translation. I am super happy and thankful for QuranMajeed !!

QuranMajeed is my favorite way to read a digital version of my holy scripture. I love that I can read it anytime, anywhere, and adjust the font size, translation, and reciter to my preference. All of the features make QuranMajeed a pleasure to use, and I prefer this standalone app to a popular all-in-one. The prayer times feature with adhan notifications is a nice bonus, but I really use it as my digital Quran. It works beautifully on both iPhone and iPad. Thank you for giving me and my family a way to read Quran in the 21st century.

This is one of the best Apps. I use it to read, and listen to. The best thing about it is the variety of fonts available for people of different capabilities depending on where they come from. Basically it accommodates most of the people needs for reading. And Masha Allah talk about the translations, tafsirs in different languages, and various reciters (qari) - all give the flexibility for QuranMajeed to be used by all the people of the world no matter where they live.

Jazakallah for the efforts, may Allah keep rewarding you guys and all the people who read and use QuranMajeed with his continuous blessings Insha Allah. Allahumma Ameen.

Alhamdullillah quran app is convenient and has translations, transliteration and tafsir. The salaah times and qibla direction is great for travelling although i find the salaah alarm beep option most useful. I have set mine to beep 10 min before the expiry time for each salaah and it gets me onto the musallah in time. Jzk. It would great to have a few more options for the long and short beep.
Also i am unable to change the default home page. I would prefer QuranMajeed to open directly onto the salaah time page or the dashboard, rather than the last read quran page. Once again jzk

QuranMajeed is MashAllah. I was able to learn many of surahs of the Quran through QuranMajeed. You have the ability to pick from your favorite reciters, then you can change the speed in how they read, you can repeat the ayahs for more understanding, and you can also read the tafsir as you go. You can also listen to just the Quran, being that you can close out QuranMajeed and it wont stop the audio. QuranMajeed is really convenient, don’t hesitate to download it. May Allah bless the makers behind this, and may Allah make us great Qur’an readers till the end of time.

Dear developer,
I am certain that you have great intentions with the development of QuranMajeed and to spread the words of Allah all around. I have had QuranMajeed for a few years now and I ask god that you get rewarded for it inshallah.
Now I know that if u purchase QuranMajeed , you won’t be getting any ads. However, are you aware that people are posting naked seductive ads as soon as you open the Quran? Sometimes that happens when you are in the Masjid. Ponder about it for a second and what it does to the reader before citing the holy Quran.
May god guide us to what’s best and show us the right path 🙏🏼

The free version is excellent! I wanted to support the developers, so I paid the very nominal $.$$ for the Pro version, without the ads. I recommend even with the free version: the bookmark feature for your favourite ayahs, translation: English-Mahmood, tafsir: English-Usmani. Font: Indopak, size adjust: 30%, themes: classic green. 15 lines: off. There’s even recitation done by different reciters where you can adjust the speed, 0.5x if you want it to go slower, to make it easy to catch up, auto advancing and more. I can’t say enough great things about this Quran app and recommend it to all my friends and family!

The best app. I like that I can use it when I don’t have my Qur’an near me, during an attack, emergencies, and at any given time. You can listen and read at the same time, alhamdulillah! I chose the correct app!

QuranMajeed is perfect to download for this holy month. It has everything I wanted, and even more than I wanted. What I like about it that it has prayer times, Quran, Makkah live and Madinah live. This is the best Quran app I downloaded so far, And I would recommend to download QuranMajeed. Especially, when I wake up from sleep I don’t know if I missed Dhohor and asr prayer and QuranMajeed reminds me and tells me if I missed those two prayers. Thank you for making this beautiful app, It’s so creative and nice. I hope what I said would make the developer happy and I appreciate all your tough working on QuranMajeed.

I tried many apps in the past. This is by far the best. It has many features that are helpful whether you are a reader, listener or a researcher. Fonts are crisp and clear. Font size can be changed to your liking. For me I use the three functions daily. The negative point or specifically the one that needs improvement is that some of the reciters’ audio quality is not HD. I’m not sure if they can do that or not. Most of the reciters I’m alluding to are older generations and HD wasn’t available at their time. QuranMajeed has many other functions that worth trying. The upgraded version is better than the free one. You won’t be disappointed.

I purchased the full version more than six years ago of The QuranMjeed I have found it very useful, and I use it all the time. I think should every Muslim use it.
It is very helpful with reminding of the five prayers, and it will also help memorizing the Quran, and understanding the Tafsear of its ayates. The only issue I had encountered was the Ads start suddenly showing, I sent four emails before receiving any reply. The reply came with a recommendation to restore the purchased version, but this recommendation did not work, and I was forced to purchase the apps again for the same Apple ID. However, the develop team recognized the issue and refunded the price for the second purchase.

Salam Aleykoum, I am a university student studying abroad in a non Muslim country and I’m usually at university from 8AM to 8PM, where usually I have to pray most of my prayers. I almost always (and Alhumdullah for this barakah) read Quran after every prayer, I found QuranMajeed on the AppStore and found it very useful, the explanation of the verses i found was very helpful and made me love reading the Quran more. The way to find Surahs and Ayahs are impressive. I am very thankful and Alhumdullah for finding QuranMajeed. I sincerely appreciate the developers for all the effort they put into QuranMajeed, Jazakom Allah Khair. I highly suggest using QuranMajeed if you’re a Muslim living in a non Muslim country and you won’t be able to find Qurans anywhere you go.

A friend of mine recommended this book. What makes this an amazing experience is that the translation is said right after the Arabic and it makes it so much more spiritually engaging for me. I love playing QuranMajeed when driving in the car and listening to The Quran and as well as at home. It has multiple options for recitation but the voice of Mishari Rashid HQ is the best. May Allah give him blessings. One suggestion is to have better voice recordings for the English translation for Mahmoud. Pickthal using archaic and old English but the voice is done very nicely. The Tafsir Usmani is brief and concise and answers questions that come to
Mind. It has meaningful cross references with Torah and Bible and is the author has some but not a lot political commentary which is appropriate in my view

Bottom line love QuranMajeed.

This is one of my favorite apps....I have down loaded QuranMajeed on the kids (7yrs, 8yrs and 11yrs) phone and tablet as well....which is so helpful with letting them know when it’s time to pray....also they have learned verses of the Quran just from listening every night as they go to sleep....Alhamdudillah QuranMajeed plays the whole night without commercial interruptions that is awesome....MashAllah also there are no explicit pop ups on QuranMajeed which is so reassuring.....SupanAllah you can read the translation in most languages and keep a record of how much Quran you are reading which was extra awesome during Ramadan....also your able to send gifts which I have found that to be very inspiring to love ones whom “like us all” need a reminder of IQRA....Alhamdudillah thank you for QuranMajeed ....May Allah (swt) bless those all that hand a hand in it...Amen and bless the Umrah at Large...Amen

Great app for anyone wanting to read Quran and at the same time use for kids to read with the reciter. It would help if QuranMajeed can add a feature for spelling the words so anyone learning can understand how to do so. All Qaidas stop at a certain point, it would help to see the entire Quran spelled out. Furqan developers have done some parts but not all for Noorania Qaida and few surahs. It would be a dream to see the entire Quran spelled out for anyone wanting to learn and properly make sense of how to read. It would be a blessing for all parents. Making dua this Ramadan for this version to come soon.

I was looking for an app which would give me everything like Quranic text (easily rescaling option), new UI design, Prayer times with specific location, Qibla finder, translation, legendary reciters and of course it has to be authentic, also fashioned as much in sahih Sunnah way as possible. Alhamdulillah then i got QuranMajeed. Ma shaa Allah QuranMajeed is one of the best out there. Over all I really loved it. JazakAllah khair to the developers for making QuranMajeed so that people can easily reach out to the Book of Allah anytime anywhere. May Allah bless you guys.

QuranMajeed is All in One, everything you need on your phone, from Quran to Prayer time to Qibla compass, you’ll find it in this! It has various versions of translations and commentaries in different languages, the most beautiful recitations by renowned reciters and both uthmanic and IndoPak writing styles with a variety of display themes. I often use it to hear audio of only translation (which no other app offers!!) while driving. The Force Touch display of prayer timings is the best thing ever. May Allah SWT bless you for this very useful app!

All the places of worship has to be kept safe and respected. To meet with a smile, speak politely, listen patiently and argue respectfully is the demand and teaching of Islam. If someone spare five minutes everyday to learn about religion, and apply it to their life, after one year they will find the difference because all the religions teach peace and the source of revelation and teaching is only one god (ALLAH)

I’ve been a long time user of Pak data Quran Pak app (almost 10years) today I was prompted for free upgrade and I quickly grabbed onto the option. In shaAllah I will further give my feedback in comeimg time regarding this apps utility.

Update: lovely app, there are some features like time spent with Quran , that are new in QuranMajeed compared to the old (Quran Pak ) app. But I’ve just setup the same settings that I’ve always been used to. So don’t see that much of difference:) like the gift feature aswell. Might try that for some one if someone inquired about it in a social gathering .

So me and my family’s been using QuranMajeed for about 5-6 years . We love every single update they did and didn’t miss one update. Also it always works smoothly even without internet. On my way to work I could read Quran in the train ! If you are new to Islam or studying Islam I would definitely recommend QuranMajeed. It even comes in translation in English Indian etc. thank you for all your hard work and please keep upgrading. I am impressed.

Question to the creator: your app is very nice and all but I wondered if you could add more wallpapers sheikhs translates and stuff like that even though there is a lot Alhamdulillah I would recommend the sheikh from Makkah maddinah masjid an nabby masjid al asqa and masjid Sulaiman (well at least one of them) and I almost forgot could you also please put the Athan for them. Thank u so much please keep upgrading. Also you don’t need to do it because I once worked in a place where make apps and I know the hardship your doing for us and Allah. I’m from Egypt Alexandra where are you from ? Please awnser with at least one thing . Because no one actually awnser smells assalamualaykum what’s your name by the way.

This is my favorite app. Literally includes everything you need (Athan times & notifications based on your location, with the option of choosing silent notifications or the Athan of different mosques). Also, best app for Quran with the option of adding translation ((I only tried the english & arabic translations. You can even chose what ‘sheikh/book’ translation you want within the language!!) . You can even chose which sheikh’s recitation you want to hear for a single verse or a whole sura. Amazing app. Jazakum Allaho khairan
