At a loss about the many high ratings for MyVirginIslands. You are much better off with a book because MyVirginIslands has no useful info - most pages are blank. Reviews do not include locations (cities) of restaurants reviewed. Plus, if you have Verizon, you will not have a signal to use your phone, at least mo on St. Croix. Don't waste your time...get a guidebook.
This is a good start to an app that has alot of potential. I am a big St. Thomas and St. John fan and try to go as often as possible. If they keep adding to the content it would be very useful. Add maps and it goes 5 star.
App has potential but needs some work. Event section has nothing listed & local flava section also should have a lot more info. Wish phone numbers in travel section could be hyperlinked to make a call rather than having to write down the number or try to remember it.
I like the idea of MyVirginIslands, but it needs work. It's buggy - crashed a few times tonight and not all things load all the time. There are few reviews and ratings, but that should improve as more people use it. A rating I entered 4-5 days ago isn't yet reflected. I do like that I am able to bookmark something I want to remember for our next trip. I rated MyVirginIslands 3 stars, but it has a higher potential with some improvements.
We live on STJ and have found this quite useful. When there are more events listed from STJ here it will be even better. As a teacher I love the history game. I hope the directory keeps on expanding. Great job so far.
MyVirginIslands is a great tool to plan trips. It allows you to plan your activities. It shows you places to stay, dine and have fun. It lets you know when they have special events.
Its about time someone made an app like this for the V.I. My only suggestion is that more info be put on for locals as well. It can be a tool for people living here as well. ie.. Full telephone directory and local club/ theatre events and so on. All in all, LOVE IT!!
MyVirginIslands has made living in the VI much easier. The information made available was once hidden.

Great app! Not only does My VI list tons of great restaurants, hotels, and beaches, but it also has numerous local events. Since I rarely travel to St. Thomas, I was able to use MyVirginIslands on my recent trip to find two great Caribbean restaurants, Victor's Hideout and Cuzzin's. While on St. Croix, I have been using MyVirginIslands to find local events such as karaoke and carnival activities. Adding maps to the next version of MyVirginIslands would make it a 6.0 out of 5.0!
When I can't stop thinking about St. John, MyVirginIslands is about as close as it comes to actually being there.
Easy to use yet powerful enough to be a real help. The maps are invaluable and the info current. Highly recommended.
Now living in St Criox for the past six I use MyVirginIslands to find local event quicker. Keep the updates coming. Maybe local restaurants could off deals for locals and travelers?
I came across this application and it was very helpful. Especially when you haven't been home for awhile. Tourist would love MyVirginIslands. Very user friendly! 2 thumbs up for the creator.

We love the USVI especially St. Johns. MyVirginIslands is a great start for information and contact info for the islands. I believe there is still a lot of info that needs to be added to make this a truly great app but it is off to a good start. Keep the working on it and I will keep using it!
As a Virgin Islander who now lives in the States, my visits home are usually brief and I want to make the best of my time. MyVirginIslands is an excellent way for me to find new ways to enjoy the beautiful VI! There are so many places that I didn't even know existed. Thanks CrucianPoint!!
Great app! I live on Stx and I look at the events section to find out what's going on. It is easy to use and very informative! It's for locals and tourist. My recommendation is to buy this application!
