autoniq was easy to use until they updated. Now everything is so hard to book bc it’s not in order and it doesn’t match KBB at all with fords. autoniq made mine and my coworkers job so much harder and more of a longer process. We have to write everything it has in the notes so we don’t have to rely on this stupid check boxes. Plus they don’t show the prices of each add now so I never know what the difference is when I’m trying to put it on car power. They need to go back to the war they were.

Let me start by saying I’ve used autoniq for 6 years religiously almost my daily. And I’m technologically Savvy. The new update is better in some ways but others is horrible. It’s faster and less buggy for sure. The old version of autoniq even with its crashes and bugs before was usable, although sometimes inconvenient. Now, with the update if you create filters, click on a particular car, and try to go back by hitting the “back” button you are unable to navigate through the rest of your filtered items. It goes through directly to the whole lane list rather than the filtered list you just created. Takes me 5 times as long. If the problem is not fixed, I will be cancelling my 200 dollar subscription very very soon unfortunately.

I use this everyday or at least I try and I don’t think I have ever sent so many emails and phone calls because it’s always down or something. When it works it’s great but when it doesn’t it’s terrible especially during auction time. Now the new update has come out and it’s worse than ever. If you download and actually pay for this garbage of an app you will be getting ripped off so bad. You might as well just go on simulcasts since there’s no in lane and buy blind because using autoniq your getting no where. You call tech support and they blame it on the vendors. BRING BACK THE OLD VERSION OR CHANGE THIS VERSION TO SOMETHING WAY BETTER BECAUSE THIS IS JUST JUNK.

The recent changes need to be reversed/corrected ASAP or I for one will be dropping this app like a hot potato. Horrible horrible horrible, Coming from an this app user of 5+ years. The new this app has added several steps to the process of evaluating a vin (odo entry, equipment clicks then “update” etc) and added delays to the process in the fast paced auction environment or everyday use fir the used car professionals. PLEASE GIVE ME MY OLD this app BACK!!!
I tried to send a customer the carfax by the new “share “ feature and it doesn’t work. No carfax report came out at the other end.
I just did the delete and reinstall autoniq and the “Update” still just horrible! I’m a goner!! Adios this app

The update is terrible. Constantly crashes, run list is buggy, saved vehicles lists are no longer sortable. Server goes down multiple times per week. Usually during peak auction times. I pay for autoniq and now have to pay for another app I use as backup when this one goes down in the middle of the auction. Nothing like driving 5 hours at three AM to get to the auction then not be able to book a vehicle. Call tech support and they say ‘yeah we know, we hope to have it working again sometime today”. Go by to the old version and fix your servers or you are about to lose a lot of dealers.

New system isn’t even worth 1 star it’s worth a half star.

Can you PLEASE fix the scanner, make the numbers BIGGER like it was. autoniq was great and now it has been completely modified and ruined. DON’T FIX WHATS NOT BROKE!!

I have requested my staff to research other vin scan systems out there to possibly switch unless this can be corrected. I have spoken to many dealers and they are all complaining about the same issues since the new updates. I can’t see paying this kinda money for something that is worth less then half of what it is. I’m willing to give 2 weeks in hopes it gets fixed. Thanks.

This was a great app, and was always understood that it did not include many features unless you were a subscriber. No problemo. But when they came out with a recent update, they took away the free options for non subscribers without warning them. Now autoniq is useless unless you sign up for their service or, like I did, just reinstall the 1.3 ipa.

Great application for dealers. Fast way to scan bar codes but it does not work if you try to scan the vin plate. Very easy to navigate through the program. Also, you can save your purchased vehicles for future reference. Saves me money and time. If they improve the scanner for the vin plate I will raise evaluation to 5 stars.

If you are a car dealer or buyer than this is a great app. I see it used in the auctions daily. Everyone I know loves it. You do pay for a subscription, but as a professional tool , it is worth the money. I use the nada and carfax options and it has made my buying a lot quicker and easier. If you are a hobbyist or consumer, autoniq probably has no value to you. If you are a car buyer, then just look around at the auction, you will see it in use. That is how I found it.

The best vin scanner app there is. With out this I wouldn't be able to make quick decisions on purchasing cars at the auto auction. If you want to maximize your purchasing power I would recommend autoniq.

Absolutely the best VIN# scanner available, especially for the $!!! Linked right to my Carfax account, I subscribed to the NADA and Galves guides. Best $100/mo. that our dealership spends. With one scan I get, high and low market numbers and a vehicle history report. Whatelse could i ask for!?!?!? Thanx this app, great work, great product and service!!!

over the last 3 years i've tried several services similar to this one. they all scan VINs and provide appraisal values, but this is what I like the most:
- their scanner NEVER gives fault reads
- autoniq is very fast
- they finally added support for taking photos

Great application. It's gives me the ability to make quick and informed decisions on the go. I like the option to take pictures and email from the auction. I can essentially upload pictures to my website before the car leaves the sale. Time is money!

Fastest and easiest VIN scanner out there.

Love it! Wish there was a way to incorporate my dealer's carfax subscription though. Definitely easier than writing a VIN down on paper, while juggling keys, plates and in the wind! One suggestion... Free VIN decoder would be awesome within autoniq . I'd gladly pay a small fee for a version that did that (without a subscription.)

Awesome VIN scanner, easy to use, you won't go back! Bad reviews clearly not dealers/used car managers. You can scan, or work from actual auction run lists perfectly organized by lane to avoid scanning vins all together. Everything you need on one screen: Carfax/Autocheck, book value of your choice, auction reports, auction announcements. Makes buying at sales easy. Saves time by automatically grabbing all vehicle info from auction data, including current mileage, color, and announcements. I've been a subscriber to blackbook's app for years and don't get me wrong, it was great and a huge advantage over a paper book, but this definitely takes the cake. I did demos of this and "laser appraiser"(same subscription price) in Jan 2013 before choosing this. No contest. I signed up for $99/mo - $50/month/book of your choice(blackbook, kbb, nada, galves, or market reports). Must pay for atleast 2 books to get Carfax/Autocheck integration, uses your existing subscription. This is a must have for volume buying.

This is a great application and totally worth the $100 bucks per month. I don't get how people whine about the monthly fee when it states that this application is for this app subscribers. For the people that don't want to pay then write your own vin decoder and give it away for free but don't come down on this company for trying to make a profit by supplying a valuable tool for dealers.

I work at a car shop, and I love the fact I don't have to write down a complete vin number anymore. It scans it, then you can get a free vin decoder to tell you the year/make/model and engine size. Use it daily, because in a shop, people don't know what they are driving half the time. I don't use it for anything but the scanner tool, it is a time saver.

Thank you for bringing back the ability to view a vin with your scanner. I still wish you had a paid version that would bring back the year, make, model and maybe even some other basic info from the vin. Myself and I'm sure many other mechanics don't care about KBB value and can't justify the full price for all the features. Either way I'm glad at least the vin is back, all the other scanners I found didn't work nearly as well.

Great ap! Makes life as a buyer so much easier. The monthly fee for full service is worth the money if you buy used cars for a living. It has saved me from losing money on cars while buying at auction. Update puts everything in one place and makes entering a VIN manually (when you can't scan) much easier.
