Just downloaded CHINADAILY and was surprised that it did not display in landscape on an iPad. Since landscape is so commonly used with stands and cases, this seems a significant oversight.
Other than that, the type is large and clear, and navigation seems simple. Fix the orientation and five stars are yours!

Total China propaganda! Can’t even comment on stories because they delete anything negative about China. I guess it’s difficult to hear the truth. Was a good app 7-8 years ago but now it’s just controlled news that makes America look bad and China as the perfect country. What a joke as I know better being married to a China National.

Come on, rotate to landscape. It’s a simple enough feature. The lack of rotate puts China Daily and its app at a disadvantage to other news sources.
Next, greater scalability of that font size please. On the 30cm iPad Pro even with the smallest font size selected I feel I can read this from across the room.

Read this if you love pro-China propaganda. Notice there are no articles about the head of the Emergency Department at Central Hospital Wuhan. 3 weeks ago she began telling the public what’s really happening in the city, and she was soon after disappeared. And remember that China is an enemy of the free press. Their world ranking for press freedom is 176 out of 180.

CHINADAILY is quick all right but one thing it lacks is that it makes the screen wobble when you touch it. Lucky you if you don't have this problem. Some people said it is slow but I think they just need a faster broadband. Quite good, try it!

The homepage is attention-getting with a wide-range of interesting content including international news coverage. The overall app is attractive. The information is layered effectively on different screens. Information is easy to read. Screens have the right amount of information. The information is relevant to keeping informed and especially appealing to international travelers. I can get information quickly. I would highly recommend CHINADAILY to a friend or colleague.

Take it from a political scientist. China daily is a great way to know what is going on in china. This and xinhua are the two best sources. Your reviews are for CHINADAILY , not for china's political decisions. They may not tell you about the bad things they do, but neither does the US. If you actually read the stories in CHINADAILY you'll find they are informative reports on real news. If you want to fond out bad stuff then google it.

As an international business student, I like to keep up on events in China. I've enjoyed this free app so far. I haven't come across any obviously "biased" articles yet. Each country has their own views, and I'm actually surprised how open the reporting is relative to what I was told about Chinese media. It's interesting to read about an event on here and then compare it to the same news topic on my USA Today app. Great app for the price. (free)

It's also heads 'n shoulders above so-called conservative 'Fox News' that panders shamelessly to the Republican Party and the 'Teabag' Party.
