Most recent update added nag messages for notifications and more ads and popups. Don't nag me EVERY SINGLE TIME I OPEN THE APP TO ENABLE NOTIFICATIONS!!!!!! That is lazy programming and an affront to my intelligence. If I don't enable notifications the first time, WHAT MAKES YOU THINK CONSTANT NAGGING WILL MAKE ME CHANGE MY MIND????!!!!??????
Don't blame Apple, or Google Ads... each app puts hooks in to call ads - plain and simple.
You want a higher rating? Take out the hooks for ads and stop nagging.

Until the most recent update. Forced to watch one ad after every two to three quotes. Also, the quotes are no longer centered within the “scroll” which mean if my iPad is in landscape mode, the author’s name is no longer visible. Ugh.

• Would like more contemporary quotes included.
• List of authors should be sorted by surname.
• Several authors' quotes (i.e., Shakespeare and Thos. Jefferson) each should be combined within a single author entry.
• Author info on scroll is often too small to read.
• The signal/time/battery life top status bar is not visible. That's important in a time wasting app.
• App could actually be useful, if it also had all the quotes organized and searchable by subject/topic.
• Would some quote citations be too much to ask?
