So I just shelled out 20 bucks on 法语助手 (since it advertises that you also get access to the sister app "每日法语听力“) only to receive an email saying it's only in effect for 6 months! It's supposed to be a one-time purchase/lifetime VIP. No where in the in-app ads for VIP accounts does it state an expiration date either. I feel duped.
(You can pay for 法语助手, this app with iTunes balance but not for the other app, 每日法语听力. It only accepts WeChat Pay (微信). There's no way for someone outside of Mainland China to purchase.)

Also in the File Reader on iPad, for pdf/epub files, you can't select more than 1 word to look up/translate. (The iPhone version doesn't have this problem). Please fix it in the next update.

I wonder if 法语助手 is legal according to its in-app acclaimed « privacy law ». It keeps pushing and getting user’s data, device infos and keeps embedding ads request even not open( with spotlight searching function turned on)
I suggest apple give a thorough check with 法语助手.

Great French dictionary app for mandarin users. However, I'm kind of regret supporting 法语助手 by paying on official website instead of using IAP. It's way more expensive than IAP.

Great app! Easy to use, good information. I have only one small complain - English is my preferred source language in learning French. 法语助手 provides both Chinese and English translations and explanations, but the Chinese section is significantly stronger.
