I'm not sure how to classify this game, I don't think it fits mini golf and definitely doesn't fit a real golf game. I guess it doesn't really matter because its fun! I only hope there are more courses though, because after playing the same 18 holes over and over again one starts to memorize the tricks required to hole each cup in the least amount of shots physically possible. Add the mulligans into the equation and I'm sure that the online best rounds list are quickly going to run into an un-penetrable floor that can't be broken. My favorite part of the game is hitting those perfect shots on the first try, then I can save my mulligans for later when I need them.

I really enjoy this game. It is a very different spin on golf and is perfect for the iPhone/Touch platform. Rocket Golf is what would happen if golf and a puzzle game had one too many cocktails and golf was like, "Hey puzzle game, what are you doing later?" and the puzzle game said, "Ohhhh, I don't know. Maybe just going home because you're not really that interesting by yourself." To which golf replied, "That's cool, I mean, I can appreciate your opinion and all and sort of feel the same way about you, but I'd be really honored if I could give you a ride" and the puzzle game agreed. And when they got in the car, a bunch of good jams came on the radio and they both discussed the other's positive qualities and how awesome it would be if they could find a common bond. This game is what that part of the conversation would be about.

I didn't know what to expect, but this game is exactly what I was looking for. I enjoy the straight play style of GL Golf, but Rocket Golf offers a nice freelance style of play. It's great to be able to relax and just have fun with this game. I can get creative, or just get silly with levels that encourage and accommodate out-of-the-box maneuvers. iPhone apps are becoming plentiful these days, and it can be hard to find solid made applications. Nuclear Nova is a name I have come to trust to release quality and fun software. 5 Stars easy!

Rocket Golf really shines as a fun and quick golf game. Its unique side-view adds a twist to standard golf, while the interesting levels will force you to be creative with your shots. There are always opportunities to find your own shortcuts to the hole, which makes this game satisfying for serious and casual players. Can't beat the price, either!

Rocket golf is a relatively fast paced puzzle game. The gameplay is simple and perfect for the touch interface yet provides a good puzzle solving challenge. Definitely the most unique golf game I've seen yet and well worth the $0.99.

Rocket Golf is a unique 2D style golf game that has simple touch commands. The game flows well from hole to hole and holds interest throughout. The arrow stretch feature is fun and easy to use. All in all great game!!!

Well worth the money, this game is a great addition to the first of nova's first golf app "gl golf." You have to experience it for yourself, its a great new spin on the world of golf for enthusiasts like myself.

I have GL golf and I think it's fantastic. This game is awesome as well. fast, simple, fun. Everything you look for in an iPhone game.

Edit: Swipe minimal to scroll, playing more realizes that is deserves five stars not four. Great game!!!
