My Measures PRO AR Measure Reviews

I have used MyMeasuresPROARMeasure for years to handle all my clients photos/measurements for my contracting business. A few years ago after an update- I lost all previously saved files. The original mymeasures pro that had all my files in it was no longer updated with new version of iPhone. iCloud was no help in salvaging old data. I lost it all. You think I would’ve learned my lesson? No- I had to purchase the new my-measures Pro app (again) and start over. Now 3 years later new update screwed me again. I can see a whole new format. My folders with clients names (and there are hundreds) are still there but I can’t access the photos or measurements and it constantly freezes up- completely useless to me. There is critical information to my business in these files. Does anyone know of an app I can start over AGAIN with that won’t screw me over and my business up every couple years. I’m devastated by this. Please erase MyMeasuresPROARMeasure you’d be doing yourself a favor. The reason for this harsh review is i went to App Store to see if there is an update to fix problems with newly changed app. NOTHING- except claims of how great and flawless the newly designed app is. It had some issues before but nothing compared to this latest debacle. These claims of all the problems the newly designed app really got me frustrated. If anything the new version creates problems!

I WANT MY FAVORITE, MOST USE APP BACK ......
Just like most developers that force us to use their servers......nothing but problems ......
I would rather pay for each upgrade as needed just to keep the iCloud syncing .... they know what I’m talking about, the one that worked without issues .....
The only ones that are giving it great ratings are the customers that don't know ........
How pathetic! I won't be showing MyMeasuresPROARMeasure to anyone ever again -
They took a flawless Apple iCloud sync that worked incredibly between iPad n iPhone ..... And now they want you to use their servers and pay for a monthly subscription.
So keeping both devices in sync now is going to cost u, and if that's not degrading enough they want u to use their servers ..... And they are actually saying we asked for that.

This used to be my favorite app. I’m not even in the construction or interior design business. But I do have rentals. I must’ve measured hundreds of rooms. They are all now inaccessible to me unless I pay for a subscription.

OK, I’m fine with a new business model. I might have even signed up for it. But essentially to not give us access to data on our own iCloud account... because you want us to use your own service going forward, is not only disrespecting your loyal customers through the years, but essentially a form of hijacking and extortion. And you have alienated the thousands of users, like me, who showed it to people, recommended it, and loved it.

If this happened to you, please email me at “My Measures Victims at gmail dot com” (no spaces) so we can try to get our valuable data back. If enough of us band together maybe we can either get them to give us access to our previous iCloud data, which is all we really want, or file a class action lawsuit. I’m sure you Pros lost time & money in your business because of this.

The sad part is it was a terrific app, and might still be. But if you’re thinking of downloading this, buyer beware. This is not a company that has integrity.

With the new iOS update,the original version of My Measures Pro was retired and became inaccessible. 5 years of construction data, and ideas - gone. The new people running this have a proposition for you though. If you pay them a monthly fee they will allow you to access YOUR DATA. I am supposed to feel good about this because they have already demonstrated their goodwill to me by illustrating why my data is not safe in my hands. At this point I don’t have enough middle fingers to show these scoundrels. I’m going back to paper drawings. This 5 year experiment was expensive.

This was one of my favorite apps. I don’t use it very often, but I liked it so much that I purchased the “pro” version. However, after having PAID for full and unlimited access “unlocked FULL version”, I have come back in need to use it again and found that there is now a subscription required. Frankly, I wish I could just have my money back now. I’m so disgusted with companies that offer a full program for a price and then force a time based subscription for something they already sold as a permanent FULL or “PRO” version that was supposed to be a one time purchase FOREVER.

I made the mistake of believing the hype. After wondering why dimensions did not appear after creating arrows, I searched for instructions on the Internet because none are available in MyMeasuresPROARMeasure itself. One glowing review I found just happened to mention this at the very end (sure wish I had known before buying: “Note: My Measures & Dimensions does not actually measure anything for you. You still need to measure your object/person”

Program is a great idea. It works but has a few consistent glitches that were never addressed. NEVER because I’ve owned at least 4 versions of the iPhone and MyMeasuresPROARMeasure crashes after 30 seconds once loaded new photos. Tech support if they have a tech support has never addressed this. They actually got back to me once a few years back and a little testy too. They said they were working on it. I give it one star. I love it when it works but the glitches are mounting and I’m looking for an alternative app that will get the job done.

Developer, why isn't there a way to export my folders with .jpg or other picture file formats?

The wifi-transfer feature only exports files that can be opened through the My Measures application, rendering them useless on my desktop or laptop computers.

When I select a folder to export, the email, print, and share buttons are grayed out.

App is great, but it always crashes on iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. Please fix this it is unusable in its current condition.

The tools and arrow configuration is amazing and love the snap to point feature.

Please bring number/letter orientation, for example when measuring vertically it would be nice if the orientation of all the numbers were the same (vertical numbers orientated different than horizontal numbers) or it would be great if you could rotate them to be on any plane.

Crashes every time. I only got it for the AR measuring feature, not to work on photos which a million of free apps already do. Just getting to the AR screen was an issue (not intuitive) which was surprising since they have it on MyMeasuresPROARMeasure ’s name. It’s like they know it doesn’t work so it’s not featured on the UI, they try to get you to work on pictures instead. Once you get there, it crashed every time. Save your money. I’ve bought plenty of crappy apps over the years. This one is so bad I’m requesting a refund from Apple for the first time ever.

I am a contractor who used MyMeasuresPROARMeasure for years and years. A few back they changed it and I lost all my files even though they were in the cloud which I pay service for. Now, they have done the same exact thing and bamm the files are gone again. Bull______
I am going to find another company to do this for me. It is so frustrating to use and loose these files! I signed up for there server to keep the files but it is not backward friendly and won't download the files I already have. Completely useless!!!!

I bought the PRO version a while ago. I haven’t used it for a long time. I mostly have it to get my measurements from around the house to have ‘em handy when buying stuff at the store. I remember my files to synch between my iPad and iPhone, but today, when trying to do just that, I found out that now you need to pay a monthly fee to do it.
I just can’t do that for an app I only use sporadically. Sorry but this is a major let down.

I use MyMeasuresPROARMeasure for my position covering boat documentation and have loved it up until the recent update. My only complaint is that I lost the ability to focus in low lighted areas and also the use of my front facing camera which I use very often when in tight spots. Could you guys please bring back these functions, if not I may have to venture out to a new app.

I absolutely love MyMeasuresPROARMeasure !!!!! It has helped me many times remember measurements and placing for wall, purchases and building.

It’s a great reminder for numbers and visuals.

Been using MyMeasuresPROARMeasure for what seems like forever. It’s really useful to have when you’re out shopping and can’t remember how tall or wide things are. It’s useful to be able to pull out MyMeasuresPROARMeasure and see how much room you have back home for a new piece of furniture. Should be a default app on the phone!

This is a great app especially if you are doing any kind of home improvement. Take your measurements for lots of projects. They are always clear, reliable and organized. Very very helpful.

This is a great app. It took some trial an error to get a hang of it. But for the most part it’s pretty intuitive.

My son had a class project of measuring the distance traveled by a paper airplane. My measuring tape was not in my toolbox, so we used MyMeasuresPROARMeasure as an alternative. It worked out great.

I highly recommend MyMeasuresPROARMeasure to anyone.

I have had MyMeasuresPROARMeasure for over a couple of years and love it. It is very easy to use and intuitive so you just have to use it to place the measurements in any picture you need, with MyMeasuresPROARMeasure you can easy explain any need in order to make the best decision regarding a buy or change in decoration or construction....

This may be the longest running app on my phone going back years! It’s like reference manual for my house. So many times I’ll be out at Home Depot and will reference MyMeasuresPROARMeasure to see if a product will fit/work for a project I’m working on.

It’s also a great way to communicate plans to contractors as well!

Great simple to use on small projects. I use it to tack measurements shopping for materials and sending details on collaborative work. A picture with dimensions communicates so well. It is so easy to use, very intuitive.
