World Factbook Atlas Reviews

Most applications (especially those which mainly involve reading) have accessibility options for users to toggle the font size. Not only is the font sIze for WorldFactbookAtlas very tiny and non-adjustable but it is also a grey color instead of black, adding to eye strain and a displeasurable user experience. A bummer and a waste of money for those of us who don’t enjoy straining to read.

WorldFactbookAtlas was amazing but there are never any updates. I know things are changing fast in the world we live in but the information seams to never update on WorldFactbookAtlas..

It isn’t bad just but it seems like the reading level is low. I would have liked a focus on the university reading level.

Why in recent updates many rankings have been removed?!

For example in previous versions we could see the ranking of a country in oil or natural gas proven reserves. But now it’s missing and there is no ranking for many important factors of countries and very few and limited rankings are available!

Overall seems to be a great resource depending on the intent of use. I needed an app to easily enter random city names to quickly reference country information and other data. This is not that APP. If you work with world wide cities and do not know the corresponding country, this is not WorldFactbookAtlas . Search function only allows known country names to return results.

I love WorldFactbookAtlas! Would be great if it had "current" news, but it would require frequent updates. I took away one star because it would be great if there was a country compare feature and a search feature (i.e., highest GDP, best maternal survival rate, most overweight country, etc.)

No Factbook app can beat this. It’s the best out there, and contains everything I could have asked for. Very informative and useful. Intuitive interface and very easy to use and read. Great map. It’s simple design is not overcrowded with images, maps, or flags; yet uses them when necessary. Keeps out of your way but can be immersive. The paid version for flag descriptions and no ads is worth it, especially if you’re a flag buff. The ads always kept out of your way though, not at all annoying. Very great.

I often refer to this to find basic facts about a country (population, pivotal historical events, flag images). WorldFactbookAtlas is super useful and glitch free!

For all those who desire to understand the dynamics that distinguish the nations of the world, this book is indispensable.

I use this to learn about unfamiliar countries in the news, to educate myself and expand my knowledge, and, occasionally, I use it when I need help with my crossword puzzles. :-)

Superb overall, but the geographic size comparison of each nation to familiar USA landmarks would be appreciated in the manner that it used to be.

This is a fantastic app if you are interested in learning about the world. Once you buy WorldFactbookAtlas initially, everything else is free as there’s no in-app purchases. Information on every country and territories’s history, economy, people, government, their flag symbolism and more is featured in an easy to access way.

I’ve use WorldFactbookAtlas for years. It’s essential in learning about other countries, working with people from other countries and it’s such an easy app to use love to design content etc.

Just what I was looking for.
Whenever a country I’m not familiar with is mentioned in the news, I can go to WorldFactbookAtlas. Not only does in have a detailed map but tells me everything I could want to know about the country—ethic makeup, religion, government, languages, even fertility rates.

WorldFactbookAtlas is my go-to for all things international. Comprehensive information is easily accessible and well organized. If you only have limited time you can get the most relevant facts about a country quickly and easily and if you want more you can also read on to more in depth information. A must have.

Great interface, indispensable reference at finger tips. One of my 2nd grader's favorite apps on phone.
