this is the best app ever it literally tells you everything about your coins. You can even meet people and discuss business with them and everyone is fair legit. This is the best app ever thanks.

I was blown away by how much information this app has about coins. From their rarity to their historical significance, CoinIn has it all. The ability to verify prices on eBay is just the icing on the cake.

Enjoyable

I have some basic American coins. Silver dollars, half dollars etc. it failed 5 out of 6 times. It got an 1898 O Morgan, but I think that was due to its excellent condition. Most of them were identified as International coins. At $9.99 a week, it’s much too expensive. Hopefully, when they upgrade and tweak CoinIn, I’d be happy to try again.

Terrible App it is impossible to cancel your subscription. No customer service and CoinIn can not recognize anything.

First coin I check is a 1970 to your app tells me it’s a 1976

After the trial ends, it will automatically start billing you. I never even used CoinIn. Not one time I requested to refund the refund status to complete that customer was refunded. yet I never received a refund back to my bank. I called Apple support. They said sometimes it can take up to 30 days for to get back into my bank account. I’m familiar with the process of refunding a customer being on the seller side.. It’s not a good look. It didn’t take 30 days for you to receive the payment. It shouldn’t take 30 days for me to receive it back.

Great app

I keep receiving notifications of interest for my coins. However, there is no way of finding the interested party. I’m beginning to think CoinIn is not real.

Tested it out with a quarter and first told me it was a half dollar from some random year, tried it again and it said a quarter from the 1922. When it was simply a 2022 Quarter. 🤔

CoinIn caught my attention since I enjoy collecting coins as my hobby and CoinIn seems pretty amazing!
But I also like to Read Reviews of apps before Subscribing and based on what I read for CoinIn I’m glad I didn’t subscribed.
Unfortunately I can’t give you a 1 or 5 star rating because I didn’t even try CoinIn so to be fair a 3 rating to be allowed to post this review. Good luck with your App.

Horrible app. Says you can identify any coin just taking a picture, but none of the coins I took a picture of were “identifiable”. Said I could look it up by entering the name of the coin. If I knew the name of the coin, why would I need to take a picture to look it up? Save your money.

Update: Received an apology from the developer, but my issue wasn’t just over the weekend. I don’t think CoinIn is reliable. Save your money. Not worth the investment.

I have tried coin after coin with different lighting and zero results with the identifier camera. I have gone through all the helpful tips CoinIn provides and still nothing. Just wasted $50🥴

As was misleading. Downloaded app and tried about 5 times to identify 5 different US coins. Didn’t work for any of them. Light was good, pics were clear and centered. Deleting app.

I subscribed and I try to list my coins and it says I’m not subscribed ..hit restore it says purchases restored but still does the same thing ..what a nightmare

This is a joke! Horrible customer service! Don’t try CoinIn they continue to charge you every week! Then you Apple Account is messed up! Horrible app!! DONT DOWNLOAD

I collect very rare coins and it only picked one out of all ten that were worth over a thousand to ten thousand dollars each! Toss it!

Every single coin I tried to scan wouldn’t work if it worked for you guys great, but it didn’t work for me.

Tried it with a 2019 West Point mint quarter. It didn’t recognize the year or mint mark and I tried taking multiple photos.

Didn’t work. Tried many times to take photos of common coins. Lighting was fine

I’m sorry but no coin would upload at all a waste of $50

Every coin scanned was categorized wrong. Every estimated price or worth was wrong! Who can I contact for a refund??

Some coins that are not even rare cant be identified

Wish it could identify all my coins. It couldn’t get two of them, coins were super old and warn but pic was clear. Figured out how to cancel. Should be on CoinIn o think

CoinIn itself is pretty cool, however most of my coins not worth of subscription.

After 3 scans I have to pay for subscription, but that makes sense after all they gotta make money somehow, but it doesn't till me how long i gotta wait till i can scan for free again

I accidentally left 2 stars, should have been 1 star. Look, I know the coin is worth between one cent and 80 million dollars. What I want to know is exactly how much it’s worth and where do I take it to cash in.
Bottom line: I just wasted ten minutes of my life that I will never get back.

Almost every random penny was worth .01-$10k… it really can’t tell you anything. It almost never even got the right year, or it gave me a range of years. And $9.99 a WEEK?! Basically CoinIn exists so you will try it and hopefully forget the trial ands and they’ll get $10 out of you.

Tried a few US quarters and a 1967 US half dollar. It got quarters completely wrong and messed up the date of the latter. The text search is busted too, couldn’t manually search. Useless.

Completely worthless app beyond horrible. claims to be able to identify any coin I’ve yet to find a coin it does identify doesn’t even identify a silver dollar 50 Cent pieces, wheat pennies anything save your time and money.

I downloaded and got the free trial and started scanning quarters. They said some were worth a lot of money. So I downloaded another app called coinsnap. It said they were worth a lot less. I don’t trust this app.

Literally downloaded to try and see what it can do. Can’t even scan a quarter and give me the right quarter. Scanned a 2002 Tennessee quarter and CoinIn found it as a 1999 Delaware quarter. Not even close on what the reverse is. Do not use if you wanna make money. Learn the real way to see what you have. The red book is a great help.

Many of the coins I took pictures of brought up the completely wrong coin. No matter how many times I made sure to get a clear image it would consistently give me terrible results. The price ranges are also way off of a standard PCGS range for example

This can't tell the difference between a 1937 buffalo and a 2001 buffalo, only gives prices based on what it's sold and its own marketplace. Has not a single notion of grading or distinction of value as a result of grade amateur collector knows more than CoinIn provides.

I did a trial base for three free days and I bought one month I canceled and you guys will not let me cancel and you keep taking my money now we need to solve this one way or the other. You see my emails plenty of times.

App doesn't do what it says and barely makes a good match. Contacted customer support and they never responded back about poor image quality within CoinIn and also not doing what CoinIn claims it does.
