I WAS CHARGED $12.55 TWICE BY MISTAKE. I TALKED TO YOUR MACHINE ONLINE ON ZAN WORD SUPPORT. IT SAID I WAS GOING TO GET A REFUND. SO I WAITED & FOR THOSE CHARGES I GOT $1.04 REFUND EACH? I LIKE THAT GAME, BUT I HAVENT PLAYED IT SINCE THAT MISTAKE. SO PLEASE CORRECT IT SO I CAN GO BACK PLAYING
I have uninstalled Zen Word because I HATE playing a game only to be forced to watch a political ad. They have NO PLACE in these games!
I have never bothered to complain about an ad before, and actually I am not sure why I find this ad SO annoying. However, the “young doctor” who recommended this game to his mother drives me crazy. I am old enough to be his grandmother, but for some reason I am glad that I am not. I actually find something else to do for the few minutes this ad is on which often means I am willing to leave the app I was using. Just FYI

I love word games and this one looked very interesting, but it was very disappointing. I was looking for the board that was used to entice the download which shows a large amount of words to guess on one level. Got to level 20 and no such board. I found the levels with about three, four or five words boring and was looking forward to the challenge of 20-30 word levels. I never hit it and frankly don’t think it exists. This happens a lot with ads to play games. I call it bait and switch. They show something that never happens as a game experience. Also, there are too many ads and expensive to opt out of as it is a weekly charge. Sorry to say that I am deleting the game and will try something else.

They claim their game prevents Alzheimer’s and dementia. Be careful what you choose to believe. There are some forms of games that improve your brain function and can in certain cases slow onset of dementia. Or maybe halt it if you’re lucky. However Alzheimer’s is hereditary. If it’s in your dna, you will get it no matter what you do. Genetic disorders cannot be cured or prevented. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Don’t get me wrong, I love word games. And certain types of word/language/math games can keep you mentally sharper for a longer time than not doing the games. But no game can prevent dementia. And no game can prevent Alzheimer’s. And last I checked it is illegal in the United States to impersonate drs. One of the guys in your ad is in several ads. For different games too. One he claims he’s a neurologist and the other a psychiatrist. If you’re going to have people break laws by impersonating drs, the least you can do is not have one person claiming to be two different drs.

Been playing this for several months, in spite of the ads that last way longer than in any other game I play. It’s not so much the frequency of the ads (although I resent having to watch an ad if I stop playing for just a few short minutes); it’s the length of the ads. Some of them literally just show a single screen for close to a full minute! No way would a download an app with such an annoying ad, so I don’t understand their inclusion in this game.
But now I am deleting the app because I’ve finally proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that the “Zen Tournament” is a complete scam. I’d long suspected the other “competitors” were just a fabrication from the game, and it was finally revealed that this is the case.
I abhor being lied to, especially by an app claiming to be “Zen”, and I’m certainly not going to watch endless extended ads in the process. I realize that most “competitions” within games are fabrications, but I hoped these developers were above that reprehensible practice.
I refuse to support liars, so this app is gone for good!
