Fun Game… BUT…

I loved this game when I first started playing it but after a few levels you realize you’re playing the same scenes over and over until the next stage level is unlocked. 😕 So the first few levels of each level are fun (because they’re new), then they just repeat over and over until, FINALLY, the next stage is unlocked. It ended up being frustrating, having to repeat the levels you’ve already completed, several times, before being able to move on to the next scene.

If you like repetition, you’ll love this. I don’t, so I’ll be deleting it now (after having gotten to the end of the levels you can see in FoundItHiddenObjectGame ). It seems lazy to keep repeating levels (items are in the same exact places they were last time you completed them- 3 or 4 times).

I’m giving 4 stars (instead of less) because it is fun when the levels are new to you. Stops being fun when you’re forced to repeat them several times before getting new scenery and when you remember where things are, it’s kind of boring. Watching ads for different clues was cool, though, and I did that a lot thinking I’d need them, which I didn’t except to try and get it over with so I could move on. If you just like finding things, this is good for you, even if you’re finding the same things in the same places. 🤷🏻‍♀️

BEST Search & Find Game Available

First—I’m NOT some random nine year old who plays games on an iPhone he’s too young to own! I’m a 65 year old who honestly spends waayyy too much time playing games on my iPhone in hopes to keep my mind sharp while killing my poor eyes at the same time! That being said, I’ve played a lot of Search & Find games and know a great one when I find one!

This game goes waayyy beyond the typical Search & Find games available. How? First, in its attention to detail! This is also one of the few Search & Find games with interactive locations, which add so much to the game.

Not only that, but if you’re prone to turning the volume off (which I typically do because of the crappy background noises) I highly recommend tuning in while playing this game. That being said, skip listening in on the first location as well as the Amusement Park, as there’s nothing to listen to—just background noise. (Hey game creators, you are talented beyond compare—surely you can create some cool music to play instead of what you currently have going on!!) Otherwise, great job on creating background music that really compliments and adds to the game play!

I’m currently on the Western Town level and I’ve been playing less than a month or there abouts—I’ve found it to be much more enjoyable than going outside and risk getting shot at by some random person! Kinda lost track of time, too!

Cannot say enough great things about this game!! Well done!

Cute game but frustrating and expensive

I was entranced by the graphics and what I thought was the concept and, getting tired of so many ads before I even finished the first episode, decided to pay for the ad-free version. However, I didn’t realize that the ONLY way to get powers was to pay for them, and they aren’t cheap. I wasted 3 of my precious few powers by 1) clicking on the pink one and watching it count down without having any clue what it was supposed to do, 2) finding a feather before discovering by reading the reviews that the items slowly dribble in at the end of a game, and 3) finding a plant BEHIND one of the stationary figures that was barely visible. Now I am at the end of two episodes with only one item to find in each and I am tired of repeatedly going through the cute maps to find the item, not knowing if it has already dropped into the map or not. And, I am not going to pay for more powers. It would help if the developers provided: 1) an up front description of the details of the game and and how it works, 2) a power or two for free whenever an episode is completed, and 3) a way to get a power by watching an ad, which apparently is how the game started out based on reading some of the reviews. Hopefully, some of this will be included in the upcoming update.

Adding items???

I’m a perfectionist, so I like to clean out all of the objects in an area of a map before shifting to a different place… so I felt like I was going crazy when I would scroll back to an area later in the puzzle and seeing more objects out in plain site. There was no way I would have missed an eggplant in the middle of a brown garden. So I started paying more attention and lo and behold, after the inevitable ad would finish, a new batch of objects appeared on the map. I have screenshots to prove it. I know I’m probably in the minority, but this really bugs me for some reason. Why not just place all of the objects in the map for us to find in one go? This isn’t a “wait for the ad to find the next object” game, it’s a “find the object” game. Is this intentional or are they trying to be sneaky. If it is supposed to be this way super intentionally, it’s well done because i wouldn’t have noticed if I wasn’t so picky about how i play… but If it’s a sneaky thing, I’m definitely not amused. Sorry for the long rant, I just do not like this feature.

The good parts about it?
The maps are beautiful to look at, the object interaction is an interesting concept, and the music is fun! Good job on all that stuff!

Needs more hidden surprises but love it

Love the graphics which is why I downloaded FoundItHiddenObjectGame in the first place. I don’t mind going. over and over the scenes. I refuse to use the hints-I’m a purist, what can I say? I love the multiple step finds and entering in new spaces. Wish there were more of these. I am hoping the update comes out soon. I have quickly finished all levels enough to unlock the “coming soon” level. I wish it wasn’t level 10 that unlocks the next area because I honestly got a little bored. Maybe if the levels got harder or the interactivity increased For example, beating level 5 unlocked a place you could enter or added new interactive challenges? Overall I love the game and am excited to see where the developers take it next.

Oh and one more thing. The economics of FoundItHiddenObjectGame seem backwards. After reading other reviews (because I don’t really use hints), wouldn’t it make more sense to give a few free for the unpaid version and then make them cost, enticing a person to buy FoundItHiddenObjectGame and then offer them hints on the paid version as an ad view? Best of both worlds, no?

Different

I have downloaded numerous apps that are scavenger hunts. This one is my favorite because it is interactive and in addition to finding things, it makes you think. You get to go into buildings to find things. And the types of interactions are different for each theme. An example is, I was looking for apple cores. There were several garbage cans buzzing with flies, I tapped one, it fell over and an apple core rolled out. So creative.

Also, the theme worlds are smaller than others and many more to select from. The artwork is cute and characters cute and quirky. Not all items come out at first and if you watch for it, you’ll actually see things appear. So you’ll find yourself scoping out the same areas numerous times which can be boring, but then the interactions make up for that.

The creators definitely had fun and have a sense of humor. Bravo!

Favorite scavenger hunt game

I really enjoy scavenger hunt games and I have to say this is my favorite one right now. It’s super cute and I love the interactive aspect of it. My favorite worlds are the ones that have you go into a building and work out how to find certain objects. I wish there was a lot more of that. I paid for no ads and it was well worth it. I delete most games that have ads, but this is one of the very few I deemed worth spending the money on. Kudos to the creators of this game. It’s fun and keeps me coming back! I hope they will add a lot more of the interactive buildings and structures and would love to see it added to each world/scene 🤓 Thanks for making such a neat game!

Rigged

When playing the free-to-play version, towards the end of an episode when you’ve found all but one or two of the items, the game does not drop the last few items anywhere on the map until you’ve sat through tons of ads. Only then will it eventually drop the items for you to find. The game’s progression is limited by the length of ad time you’ve had to sit through, not how quickly you’re able to find the items because the game controls when it wants to drop the items on the map. The game does not drop all the items on the map from the beginning of an episode. If you’re cool sitting through all the ads or paying for no ads, then you might enjoy this game, but I’d rather not just sit there scrolling through the map when there are no items to find until the game has decided I’ve sat through enough ads for it to drop the last items. I understand the developers are attempting to generate revenue but having ads every one or two minutes and gating the progression on so many ads is boring.

By

Tedious, Repetitive, Money Hungry Developers

The option to pay for no more ads was $5.99 when I first started playing this game. They have now changed it to $9.99 which makes me want to get this option even less because you can exit out of most ads almost right away by finding the x in the corner and exiting the ad or closing out of app completely and then coming back. The game itself is nicely designed but it’s mainly 10 episodes completed required to get the next scene so there is a ton of repetitive usage of the hidden objects which is not even hidden a lot of times. So if you don’t mind the mind numbing repetition or the ads you can skip out of easily, then continue to play but I got through 7 scenes and I am pretty much done. It’s boring to have to play through 10 episodes each scene so if it was a new scene after each completion I’d definitely come back to play it again but right now there’s nothing new or different in the gameplay and I’d rather continue playing my mmorpgs.

So close to being great…but not quite

Pros: 1) some interactive objects that make sense (ie you are looking for a feather so tap on a bird who shakes a feather off) 2) cute animated scenes where the objects to find don’t wildly stick out so it is not super easy 3) interactive locations (but see con below)

Cons: 1) the ads are incredibly intrusive…would be so much better to only see adds between scenes…so I paid for the ad free version…BUT now I can’t get any power ups without paying (which I won’t do)…there should be a way to watch an ad to get a power up or offer some when getting to a new scene 2) my favorite part, and what got me to pay, were the interactive locations (go into a house and there are little puzzle type objects to find)…turns out none of the later locations have them…so disappointed 3) there are only 7 scenes…wish there were more

Just right for me

I’ve always liked puzzles that have a challenge! Very important for me - there is not an overwhelming amount of movement all over the screen from every pic. I get migraines easily and often, and have gotten dizzy very quickly playing similar apps.

I like that not all objects are presented the instant the episode begins. There are some clever learning curves and strategies to build, which keep me interested.

There are plenty of opportunities to earn a boost by watching an optional video, so since I made the original in app purchase, I haven’t spent any more money.

I like the hidden puzzles, too! Unexpected!!

I’m the kind of player who wants to find everything without a hint, but sometimes I simply can’t find that last object without one.

The objects are placed in clever ways and with a sense of humor and fun. FoundItHiddenObjectGame would have no game if all of the items were easy to find.

So, with the variety, the challenge level, and the tasteful use of animations (sorry, but the theme park is wasted on me - that one moves a lot more) I’m happy to play this little game for fun. I know my time is over when I can’t find anything. The next time I try (next day), I’m back in it.

¡Me gusta mucho! ¡Que linda y divertido!

By

Kinda a rip off

Not all the objects are put out at one time. Must search the whole screen over and over and then suddenly more stuff shows up. Always seems to hold last item for a long time before it’s released into the picture may be put in the same building and areas you have searched a zillion times. I zoomed out when I used a hint just to see what happens and you can watch the item just magically appear in the same places used just searched and not there. They are just basically hoping people will give and and buy the hints and add ons every time to get the last item. Would be fun if all the items were out in the search picture at the beginning but gets boring going back over and over the same picture same areas you have slowly scrolled over and over and to me not a true search and find.

Ads every 15 seconds

This game would be amazing if it were for two very crucial issues. For one there are ads every 15 seconds. Thankfully you can exit out of most of them quickly but still every 15 seconds is beyond ridiculous. Secondly, I got from top left to top right and work my way down but they don’t have all of the items to be found out all at once. You can look at the whole board and find say 20 items and then go to scan it over again just to see things sitting in plain site. The more objects you have to find the less they put out at once and make you look the board over and over. This is ridiculous and should not be an issue. It’s the only game I’ve ever played that does this. For these two reasons I have deleted the game and will not download it again unless these two things are fixed

Love love love this game!

I love playing this game is so much fun trying to search for everything like I was when I was a little kid in the dentist office with highlights magazines.

My favorite part is when you have to go into different rooms and buildings and trying to figure out how to find the certain item you’re looking for by doing puzzles I wish there was more rooms like that on every level.

I very much enjoy the new free spin every day, but I have not figured out what they magic wand is for! I keep getting them in free spin and they seem to go no where and do nothing. Can you help me find where they go and how to use them? Please and thank you!

New objects appear over time!!

The programmers who designed this game are geniuses. It’s the only hidden objects game I know of where the hidden objects don’t all appear at the start of the game. You have to go back over the scene again and again because I think the way it is set up is that some objects appear only after other objects are found. Sometimes you can actually see the objects fading into the picture- you can watch them appear out of the background. And I am SO THRILLED that two new scenarios have been added since the last time I played the game. I hope you guys make a lot of money with this game and make more like it. It’s just AMAZING!!!

Absolutely amazing!

This game is incredible. The functionality, the way you find certain objects, the detail in each environment - it’s all just mind-blowing. Also super fun and dangerously addictive! Around 10 years ago, I worked in an ad agency that was just dipping its toes in the water of this new “interactive” technology for a project… and it was a disaster. Extra help, working nights and weekends, you name it. That experience just reminds me of how difficult this stuff really is, and “Found It!” is the absolute best representation of when an interactive game is done right. I don’t know if there are awards for this sort of thing, but if there are, it should win the top prize! I love it!

Never Ending Episodes 😮‍💨

Developer how many episodes are there in each stage ? I been in the countryside for a minute and ready to head to the future or the city 👏🏽👏🏽The hidden objects are repetitive. I know for a fact that those of us with impatience and irritability issues are ready to throw our phones if these episodes don’t come to an end 👏🏽👏🏽😤 Don’t get me wrong the game has my mind alert and eyes are moving to find the objects which is really stimulating but THESE EPISODES 😐😐👀 Please give an answer and not just being thankful for this feedback
Thank you

My opinion so far

My days are pretty mellow which allows me much more time to concentrate on these games rather then squeezing in brief moments of it which defeats the purpose of them. I also enjoy how patience is a superb technique to use because that’s what gets used most of the time rather then giving up or throwing in the towel way too soon. They also exemplifies my willingness to complete most tasks and never ever give up so are very pleased about the progress being saved to continue with task at anytime in the future so it seems to be. Thank you SO VERY MICH whoever created these for basically anyone to test their own patience and ability to mastering each hunt on their own I hope.

Unique Fun

I love scavenger hunt type games but get so tired of the repetitive play in those games. Finally a game that lets me just look for items but each episode level offers something new. The unique way in which the developers have created this game makes it even more fun. Searches within searches and moving items that when tapped offer unique ways of locating objects. My fear, the developers won’t be able to keep up with my game play. Fingers crossed. And while I hate spending money on apps - totally worth the cost to get rid of ads! Love this game!

Found it!

I have to say I play a lot of games on my IPhone. But this one is one that I really like playing. It well made and I’m always hinting for that very last piece. I am currently in the 🐪 🏜️ 🌵 Desert #12 I don’t know how many more I have in desert. I enjoy and find this games to be very distressing. I’m 61 yrs old and enjoy this game emenesly. Give it a try and it’s worth paying I think $5.99 to get rid of the commercials, ads whatever you call them. There isn’t a ton of them but I just hate them. Makes it more distressing for me. Thanks guys keep adding to this!

Best Search Game

Since I started playing 3 days ago I’m addicted. I had to buy the no ad edition. The graphics are so cute. I like the interaction clues. I wish it had some instructions though. I couldn’t figure out 2 of the helps and how they work. But I emailed the questions and they were answered. It would be nice if you could earn the helps. They are very expensive. I have ordered $45 of helps because I wanted to play so badly, but I won’t do it again. I think I’ve gotten used to how things are hidden. Fun game to play. I highly recommend it. I play a lot of games on my phone but this is the only one I want to play now.

Addicting

Love this game!! I’ve only been playing a few days and I’m addicted. I LOVE the fact that there are no “lives” to lose and you run out and have to wait or buy more lives. This is a stress escape and keeps my mind busy. When I can’t find something, I go to one of my other pictures and look on the few items I couldn’t find before. I really do like this game!!! One thing I don’t like is that it’s the same items over and over. It feels like you’re playing the same game over and over. I love the interactive finds, however, some are really difficult to figure out. I could not handle the ads so I paid for no ads. It didn’t say if the purchase was a day, week, month, or lifetime. I hope it’s lifetime. Otherwise, I would be purchasing it any more.

Thanks for the game. It’s fun and entertaining.

BEST Find It Game

I have played other “Find It” games before, and I them there’s absolutely NO comparison to this one for several reasons! (yes, there’s many adds if you don’t pay the $5.99 for the no add feature. But I went through many levels and levels before I finally decided to pay for this. But before I did, I found that if you paid attention, when the adds were finished, you could find several items right where you were when the add started!)
First of all, you have the opportunity to “earn” some of the “hints” that are located throughout the game, just from finding them and clicking on them and then watching an add. You also earn a free hint every day, by going to the “hints tab”, and then you also get a free spin every day in your location for a free hint!
But what I love is the interaction part of this game! Depending on where you are, the items will be different as far as what it might take to get them!
And don’t forget to click on structures as sometimes items are hidden inside and then you have to get them out! lol!
I haven’t bought anything except for the “adds free”, and I’m at the Amusement Park Level now and have only been playing for @ a month, maybe less.
Hope this review helps out someone!! 😊

Find Objects

I recently wrote a three star review and now am amending it. One, they added two ways free to acquire tools; a daily prize listed under calendar icon, and a daily spin. Too me, it’s worth paying for no ads. Also I like the interactive experience. For example: tapping on doghouse out pops bone. Also, the ‘wavy buildings’ you go inside and assemble items you need:) I do wish they would add more of those to the other versions it seems to be only in country-side, Asian, polar, ..I believe that’s it for special rooms. I don’t like having to hunt for last 1-2 items 10x crossing grid to look only to have it ‘pop up’ where I previously looked many x before. Rather, add different items than hold out on those. I am addicted to this I only spend to drop ads. Zero $ on game after that.

The absolute best

This is the absolute best hidden object game (for me, at least) that I have played.
The graphics are great. It's not so overcrowded with numerous pictures that you can't even tell what you're looking at. And my biggest pet peeve - you don't run into "new area unlocked" sections where you get bumped off of the area that you have been methodically searching just to be thrust into this "new area" which is who the heck knows where in relation to the area you were just investigating.
I love the different mini games that are sometimes encountered, I love having to open doors to find certain items, I love of the little people walking around - except for the ones with the Kardashian lips 🤪, I love the different scenes that you have to search.
No complaints here. The only thing I'd like is for the new scenes to be ready faster!
Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable game.

FoundItHiddenObjectGame is totally addictive, I love it. My only gripe is that after paying for the no ads version I would expect a no ads version but to get the hints and bonus levels there are ads. Really, why? I paid to not to have to watch them. Otherwise it's great I literally spend hours on it.

Developer Response. Aug 1

Thank you for taking the time to share your gaming experience. We appreciate the 5 star rating. As for the "no ads" option, as indicated in the store, it disables pop-up and banner ads, making the gameplay more comfortable. to receive additional bonuses for watching videos optionally, you can get free boosters in the wheel of fortune and in daily rewards.

August 31,2023

As of today, I have no longer been able to get hints upon completing a level. I have no longer been able to find magnets or pointers, hidden in levels. I have not been getting the three video van spins in the wheel of fortune watching the ads those are no longer available so I’m getting only one hint per day on the wheel of Fortune. My goal was to get my three types of hints up to 200 each. In doing so I have got all of my levels for a couple to level 30 or above. I currently have 244 light bulbs, 158 magnets, and 178 pointers. None of which were pitched all were won by playing the game the way it was intended. Please fix it and please open Magic kingdom for play. Thanks an avid player.

Too many adds

I downloaded it to give it a try because of an ad that had popped up (while playing another game) that said it had no adds! At least that is what I thought it said and now I wish I could find it agin to check. Either way… I download and start playing and all of a sudden get an ad. That one gets over and I am trying to find my last couple objects … I wasn’t back to it long when another ad popped up! That one goes off and I start looking again I swear within a minute less another ad pops up! That is way too annoying when you are trying to search a screen for tiny objects and you keep getting interrupted. They should put the ads at the end of each round/level.
So, I deleted the game. I’d be spending more time watching ads then actually playing it!

Best game!

This is my go to game now. I really enjoy the the items are not always in the same spot the next time you play. I love how new items appear when you find the ones shown. I like the interactive areas too. The one thing I would suggest is that in the interactive areas, if that could be expanded too, would be great. It’s one of the things I love about this game is that you can make the main puzzle bigger. I also really like that the same puzzle is different each time you play. The only downside is that it is limited on puzzles. I’m trying to be patient for the next puzzle to be dropped. I hope it’s soon. I need a new challenge. All in all…..extremely well done! I don’t even mind watching ads to gain powers.

By

Love, Love, Love this game

I read the last comment on trying to find the last pieces. I have never ever bought any clues. The challenge IS to try to find ALL the pieces! What I do is stop, close it for a while and come back to it or widen the screen and look closely, its THERE! Right now I have 77 light bulbs, 37 magnets, and 43 pointers… And I have used them on several occasions when I’m tired but it a lot more satisfying to find every clue myself. Everyday you get the chance to get a few by spinning the “Wheel and going to the daily calendar, or finishing ALL THE CLUES YOURSELF, with an advertisement to purchase another game. It’s so much fun! Once you play for a bit, you’ll know more or less where the last clues might be hidden. One thing I would love to see is, in the first few games we went inside a tent or pond, etc to find clues and use a wand!!! I would have love to see more of that in every episode. More challenges… Thank you 🙏

great game

ok i absolutely love this game, however i just couldn’t stand the adds every 2 or 3 minutes, so i paid the $9.99 to stop ads but what upset me is, i don’t like the pop up ads non stop, however i don’t mind watching an ad to get free hints obviously because it save’s from having to purchase any hints, unfortunately now that I have paid for the no ads, they also took away all of the freebee ads as well, leaving me with no choice but to make a purchase in order for me to get a hint so. Basically they wasted my money. because i will not make purchases for any hints and normally i wouldn’t have made the purchase that I did to even begin with but again I love the game but I just could not stand how many times the ads popped up

Journey path STILL not working :(

I waited for the latest update that was suppose to fix the error with the new journey path, but it is still not allowing me to go past the ‘pick your character’ screen after the latest update.

I am also a little disappointed in the new season, Magic City. The items do not seem to be as hidden as creatively, and the season is no where near as interactive as the many others before it. There are only a couple of items that require you to tap something else in order to find it (example: moving weed grows to reveal wooden staff with vines).

I am giving 3 stars for the concerns above and for the lack of difficulty over time. Since I have played all of the older seasons 20+ times now, they have become extremely easy. In the future it would be nice to have the ability to select different modes (easy, hard, etc.) to change things up. Another option could be that each season increases in difficulty as you progress through the levels.

Excellent search and find, but something you should know…

As I stated, this is an excellent game. I have no complaints just a little information to bestow.

ITEMS YOU FIND: You will spend a lot of time moving the board around to find items. What you need to know is, if it says you have 200 items to find or any number for that matter, they do not appear all at once. You will find a certain set of items and THEN more will spawn in to the scene. It is done for a reason, no over cluttering of the pic. Just know you are not crazy. Something you were looking for in one area may not have the item you were looking for. It will phase in later. Great game Devs 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🥰

Now what?

Used to love this game. Then last week they changed up quite a bit of stuff where you can’t spend the wheel anymore for a free item as a hint, or go to the calendar and claim your free hint. All of a sudden it’s been changed to coins and there’s no instruction on what to do with them, or nowhere to cash those coins in for whatever they’re offering. It added a side game where you just click on things and again there’s no instruction or no direction on what the point of the game is. Hate to say it but I think it’s time to leave this game and find another where you can search for items. Don’t know why it was changed but it’s definitely not for the better. and I agree with the previous review that there is only a few items left to find, you’re kind of forced to use a hint to find it because it’s nowhere around. And it does feel rigged.

Latest update broke my game.

I loved this game. I loved the art style, the music, the rando item drops that had me scouring the whole scene multiple times. I loved the mini puzzle scenes. I even loved how you could play a scene over and over and somehow it would be a bit different. However, now it’s unplayable for me. The latest update promising all kinds of new things broke my game. I’m not able to access anything in any of the tabs at the bottom. I was never able to do anything in the journey tab. So I have no idea how that works. Suffice to say that if I can’t access the store, I won’t be paying any money. I submitted an email to the dev and got a response back asking for more details. But I have yet to hear anything beyond that or have any kind of fixes. And that was a week ago. I think I’m about to the point of just deleting it and calling it a day.

Brain Sharpener

This is a good game. You do NOT NEED to spend money, unless you don’t want ads. People fuss because all the items don’t show up on the screen at the same time. Well - there are basically 6 segments if you do not adjust the screen size. That’s between 20 & 33 items per segment. What kind of fun is that? I’ve seen people say you cannot get all the items unless you pay. Um… no. Enlarge the screen, and be patient. It’s there, I promise. Or you can EARN the powerups to find the missing item. In the Journey portion of the game, you get a power up for 300, 400, or 500 extra items collected. *************** The ONLY drawback - they are slow on updating the game. I understand it takes work to do the GOOD graphics they use, but I played for 2 weeks, and have nothing to do, because all “Worlds” above Toy Town are locked. And after gaining the necessary 20 keys, Journey is locked. I know - I can keep collecting powerups, or I can keep playing more episodes of all the unlocked worlds, but - been there, done that.

Unplayable Unless You Pay for No Ads

Game play could actually be fun, if it wasn’t for the SEVERAL forced ads per level. Just when you start getting the hang of where things are? Ad. Found 5 items? Ad. Looking for that last hard-to-find item? 3 ads. I understand that ads are a big part of how app creators generate revenue, but the way they’ve chosen to use them here impacts gameplay so heavily that it’s not worth it. At the time of writing this, it cost $10 to buy the ad-free version, but I haven’t been able to play this long enough to even know if it’s worth it. I’ll happily watch ads to get upgrades and hints, and can totally understand having ads between levels. I’ll also happily pay a couple of dollars to lose forced ads. But if I’m being strong armed into paying $10 to experience more than 2 minutes of game play at a time then I’m out.

Fun, but a little bit not

It’s a fun game if you like “where’s waldo” kinds of games. I certainly will keep playing. One thing that bugs me: it seems that the final item of most levels will not spawn for you to find without spending coins for a hint. I can’t verify it with 100% certainty, but I’ve had multiple games when it just didn’t show up until I spent coins, no matter how slowly and thoroughly I searched. I get the coins if I get tired of looking and give up, but to keep objects hidden without spending is not nice. Again, I’m not 100% certain, but this is my experience.

Edit: Thanks for the response from the developer. Fair enough :) I appreciate the explanation. As I said, I wasn’t 100% certain, so thank you for the clarity.

I really loved this game, butttt….

Updated Reciew: I originally gave FoundItHiddenObjectGame 5 stars but I am editing it because I lost all progress 2 updates ago so I’ve had to start over from scratch. Infuriating. Especially because I cannot find out how to contact anyone and I couldn’t restore my progress. Now for this last update, I was so happy with the Christmas Challenge and the ability to upgrade to premium maps. I completed the Christmas Challenge and paid for the Premium rewards which includes access to the Winter Wonderland (if you completed the Christmas Challenge map). I still do not have access to the premium Winter Wonderland map. It shows it is locked and when I click on it a message pops up saying I must complete the Christmas Challenge to access. I can leave feedback in FoundItHiddenObjectGame but there is no way to get customer service to get help with these issues. I’m willing to update the review back to 5 stars if the creators will fix the obvious bugs FoundItHiddenObjectGame has.

Original Review: Highly recommend if you like object search games. This is my favorite by far, doesn’t make you pay weekly or monthly to enjoy. There’s something more satisfying with this game than other hidden object searches I’ve tried. I really recommend. I would really like some new levels, please! I continue to play the existing areas and can’t wait for new places to open! Checking everyday for an update!

Pretty Nice Game

Update 1/10 I received a response to my review. They are working on the game as we speak. I can’t wait I’ve deleted all my other games except 2. Once the new levels come out I’ll give another review…
JM

First off, I wanna say that I really like the game, I downloaded it off of another game I was playing. I like the graphics. They’re cute and I like the concept of this game versus the others in the same genre. I wish I could give it five stars however, the game is not progressing like it should. I’ve gotten all my keys in the one of the special events and I want to move onto a new location and for the past five days it has told me that it will be coming soon. Second it seems to me you have to find the same times ALL of the time, which gets boring after awhile of playing.. I mean really how many sunflower seeds can one find in an episode. So if you’re going to come up with new locations and new screens and episodes, you need to come up with new items to find.

So addicting! Cute locations & superb background music!

I love this game! The interactive gameplay is so much fun and challenging! I’d love to know where you get the music for the different locations. Some of the tunes sound like songs from the SiriusXM Spa channel. The Pirate land song sticks in my mind and I end up humming it. All of the music is so appropriate for each land. The Safari land has the most haunting and epic soundtrack; the Polar land music sounds exactly like what I would imagine for a cold, snowy landscape. As each new land is unveiled to me, I eagerly await listening to its soundtrack.

Also, please let us know when a new setting will be forthcoming to the main Found It page. I’ve already gotten all the keys so now I’m working on the different lands and I’m loving every minute of it! Keep up the good work!

Fun game but too many interruptions

I love the game but I see something I’m getting ready to click on it and before I can even touch the screen that’s stupid little guy pops up on the screen and tells me you have three more items left and then I have to wait through it commercial in order to get back to the game and by the time I get back to the game I’ve already forgot what I was looking for too many commercials and interruptionsI know I don’t spend a lot of money but I still think it’s not fair that you put that many interruptions into the game trying to force us to buy which is not gonna happen for me thinking of quitting the game because of that one feature that I hate so much

Could be more fun but…

This game would be great except you have no idea when all the items are placed. It annoyed me at first that not all the items are placed from the beginning. However, I see where not placing them all at once makes it different from their games. BUT, you never know when the last ones have shown up. You just keep looking and looking and don’t know if you are just missing them or if they just aren’t on the map yet. I know the developer says they don’t intentionally slow the placement down within the last dozen or so items are left to find, but I am experiencing the same as others have mentioned in their reviews. I can zoom in and scan the map MANY times, and the last items take a long time to find. This is a big enough issue to cause me to stop playing this game. I personally would prefer all the items be placed from the beginning. I like to challenge myself by trying to find all the items in that area before moving on. I can’t do that with this game. Yes there are lots of items to lace all at once, but you could either make the map bigger, or reduce the number of items for the current map size. Too bad because the interactive part of this game makes it really interesting. Otherwise this would be a one star rating.

Money grab

First off at time of purchase and this review 9.99 for ad free. And ads galore still as with many games but this one feels worse than all the others with “bonuses” with ads plus “daily” prizes with ads, hints/helper tools with ads just anything and everything purchase or ads. On to the game itself.

The game is a poor version of a where’s Waldo, except if you clear an area and move on and clear the next area and the next looking in a grid pattern by the time you clear the map there is still more than half the items, the areas re-populate items to “hunt” which most aren’t even hidden. It’s just tap the screen unless you specifically hunt in order, but it’s so cluttered with items it’s hard to not accidentally click an item.

I wish highlights wasn’t a subscription service, heck I’d pay 20-50 dollars (as a one time fee) for that one for nostalgia. And wish where’s Waldo had a active app for the iPhone.

Well I do like it but….

Although I do like the game, I’m gonna have to delete it. The reason I didn’t have to delete it is there is just way way too many ads. I have literally timed the ads and there are points where they have popped up 30 seconds to every minute! If you want people to spend money in a game, you gotta stop the frequency of the ads. Period yes, I understand there needs to be ads but not so crazy often man. People that play these games usually have anxiety or ADD or ADHD. And if you want to get us hooked on it to spend money, we need to be able to get into it a bit more and not have so many apps. I am want to definitely spend money on games but I have to be able to experience the game and enjoy myself in order to want to spend money in it and I’m not gonna buy the game outright Right at first if even at all, I spent a lot of money in a game that I don’t even own at times and a lot of others do too

Puzzlelover

While this game is quite fun to play, the ads are ridiculous. Not only that, but the amount of time between ads (roughly 2 min) begins to diminish as the number of items to find are less. With only a few left to find, it feels like the developers intentionally fail to place the required items so that it seems that all you’re doing is click through ad after ad. Or you could buy hints which are outrageously expensive whether you buy them with money or coins earned through the game. It does feel like they are trying to force the player to spend money. They may say this is hardly the case but try playing the game and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Plus, what are they going to say? “Yup, you’re right, it’s about the money, stupid”. It’s incredibly frustrating and for this reason alone, I don’t think I’d recommend this game.

Regenerates too slow!

Overall, the game is pretty good in terms of the graphics and concept. However, the regeneration speed for items is way too slow, especially as you advance in the levels to the point that I am about to lose interest in the game.

I really like scavenger games and have been playing the 3D match game by this developer. I’ve paid the $9.99 in both the 3D match game and this game for the ads to be removed. However, I did not expect the system generation of hidden items in this game to hamper my game progression. I’m close to level 3000 in the 3d match game and never had to wait for the system to progress like in this game. For the amount they’ve charged and the rather limited scenes in this game, I expected more.

Developers: I strongly recommend you guys change the speed of item generation and add more scenes in this game.

Totally Stress Free!

I work hard all day and the last thing I want is to be stressed out playing a game. This one is fantastic! No timers, no screens where there are only a couple items to find, no penalty for tapping the wrong thing, no charge to zoom in on the screen. And one can play this game without having to spend money in order to finish an episode! The art work is fun (especially the Winter Wonderland), there’s a great variety of objects to find, and I haven’t gotten bored playing the same locations over and over again. The first few locations had a puzzle within a puzzle with just 3 objects to find. I was REALLY hoping subsequent locations would have these as well, with puzzles that were of increasing difficulty with multiple steps to solve. So please work on that! I’m also hoping that you can add some new objects to all of the locations to keep them fresh. There are probably a hundred or more houses, forts, tents, pyramids, or ships with closed doors throughout the different locations. I’m hoping the developers do something with these so they can be opened and explored! One last thing… I never ever write reviews. That’s how great this game is.

No, you’re not losing it! The game cheats.

I wasn’t sure at first. When skimming a busy scene it’s easy to miss listed items. But then I’d slow down, and zoom in. I’d slowly do 1 small section at a time. On return to same section a couple minutes later, a list item would be sitting on plain sight. At first I questioned my own ability and focus because I KNEW I’d already painstakingly gone over that section. After the 3rd or 4th time of questioning my cognitive ability, I decided to take screenshots of the scene before starting a new level. Then proceeded to find all the listed items using the same strategy I’d been using. As soon as I returned to a previously scanned section that “missed” items mysteriously appeared, I took another screenshot and compared it to pre-start SC. Results: In one fully zoomed in section, I found 3 items that were not there in my pre game start screen shots. This is called cheating, folks. It’s obviously a way to keep the player longer so that your sponsors can force the player to watch more ads! I’m betting that’s when the mysterious items get added? And the amount of ads that interrupt a single level of play is RIDICULOUS. But I might have put up with them if you hadn’t added cheating to the player experience.

Ad keeps blacking out and making me exit out of game

I love this game except for a few things that are really annoying. One is every time the candy crush ad comes on it makes a black screen that you can’t x out of no matter how long you wait. The only thing you can do is swipe it away and totally restart the game only for it to come on again a few minutes later. This just started happening in the last few days.
The other thing I hate is when you have found almost all the items and you’ve searched every inch of the picture and the item you are looking for is not there. You have to wait for an ad then after the ad is over, the item you were looking for mysteriously appears right where you already looked. So it’s frustrating when you’ve searched the whole thing 2-3 times for something and you know you won’t find it until after an ad. It’s a waste of time.
I can’t play this game anymore until you fix the candy crush ad. But I have had a lot of fun with this game until now.

Fun & relaxing, but has limitations that seem unfinished

I really enjoyed this game for the first few main boards. Each board had some objects you could interact with, and some included buildings you could tap on for an additional little side game, which was really fun. But after the first few boards, the interactive objects mostly stop, and there are zero side games anymore. Also, in the Journey section, once you complete 2 boards, you can’t play it anymore. It just keeps saying “Next location will be available soon.” So without these, the game isn’t one that I look forward to playing each day anymore.

I do hope the developers are continuing to build more boards for the Journey section, adding more interactive side quests within the main boards, and maybe even a daily task/reward of some sort. Please give us players a reason to keep playing!

Other than those issues, I do love the game, and haven’t experienced any bugs with it. Fingers crossed for some exciting updates!

Found It

This is by far the best Hidden Object game on the market. The only thing that I can’t find is the episode called EASTERN CITY, am I missing something or am I just Blind. To the Developers, you guys are the best. Tony

I have to add more praise since the last time I left feedback. With all the new levels and now the daily levels, I don’t know how you can make this any better. I have deleted most games off my iPad except good old fashion Solitaire. You guys never cease to amaze me, the graphics, animations, and overall fun. I read where some people can’t find everything, when I’m down to about six items missing I expand the screen and scroll slowly, 9 out of 10 times I find then, then I will use a hint to get the last one. With the daily prizes, no excuse to have to complain, just take your time and take what the game offers, you will do fine. Thanks guys and girls for the hours that you have given me. Looking forward to whatever you have for us next.
Tony

Great game

This is the very best of all the hidden objects games I have ever played. The graphics are great and funny, too.
I have only two criticisms that prevent me from giving five stars.
1)There is no explanation for how the power ups work, and they are in an awkward position on the screen. I have accidentally hit the flashlight power up several times, and I still have no idea what it does. The flashlight lights but nothing else on the screen does. Then the time runs out. ????
2)When there is only one item left to find, often I find myself wasting time looking for it and it is NOT THERE. I have to wait through several ads and then it suddenly appears. It doesn’t happen every time, but often enough that it is frustrating. I feel I am being forced to purchase a hint or else forced to spend enough time that I have to watch several ads. It is not that the item had been hidden. It wasn’t there and suddenly it is there. Sometimes it appears in the middle of a field right before my eyes. I understand you need to show ads to pay for the game, but be honest about it. Don’t make us waste our time searching for something that isn’t there.

Glitchy with Poor customer support

I enjoy playing this game but like most people I like to feel like I'm achieving something. This is a grind game. There was an event over several days that I put lots of time in because I felt the prizes were worth it. It got to the point where I could see myself achieving the goal and then the game got glitchy I guess or else it was set up to make the player fail. In multiple areas you had to find six items. Once you find the 6 items, in each location you also have to find anywhere from 20 to 40 stars. The stars are what matter to advance in the event and I must say it takes a lot of grinding to find so many stars. Things were going fine until the items I needed to find to get to the stars to become available to find stopped coming in. I notified support more than once but it took days for them to get back to me. They asked for a photo. I sent them one. A few days later they asked for another one. They never helped me and it took so long for them to respond that I ran out of time to find what I needed to progress. Don't waste your time with this game. There are better object finding games out there that don't cheat. I myself am deleting it.

Want to love it

If you have money to throw away then definitely lose some to get rid of the ads. That is the only thing that ruins this game. It’s extremely poor placement and rate. The ads are in game every 1-2 minutes of game play 0_o then they pack the screen up with gimmicks. Such as hints and free stuff. Non of these things fully disappear and are always blocking you’re view while searching. For the next issue I’m not sure if I hate it completely or if it would stop if you paid to have the ads stop. Every minute or so when the ad plays the map refreshes and more items are add (or moved but I’m pretty sure it’s added). So when you think you cleared an area you in fact haven’t because the map would add more to that are once the ad plays. The occasional “mini hunts” (when you get to enter a property) never change. It’s the same “challenge” every time.

The positive: I still haven’t deleted it. In part because I haven’t search for another that would be better. I love SN but that one has even worst gimmicks with the energy consumption.
This game would improve if the developers hid the items from the screen and placed adds on items only. Such as want something free +AD, want to spin the wheel or collect earnings or move on to another map +AD. All of which they already do but can be as anal with it on those things than in an active search.
