The major takeaway is that it not only crashed and temporarily locked up my phone (I couldn’t even get to the close app screen), but it sucked my battery from 68% to 35% in a mere 20 minutes with no other apps open. Since closing the game about 20 minutes ago, I’m still at 35%. There’s something REALLY fishy about that.

The game would be cute if it were not so EXTREMELY ad heavy. I spent more time trying to exit a “skipped” ad than playing. On some ads, after pressing skip, it goes to wait 5 or the ad store then back to wait before it finally lets you out. Then you get about 5 moves before another ad pops up. There’s so much negativity in how the ads function that playing the game feels more like punishment than entertainment, and there’s no point in telling you what I like about the game itself. It’s not worth the trouble.

The game is fun and seems to run well but the ads are driving me crazy! It’s about every 2 minutes there is an ad. They’re usually not more than 5 seconds but when they’re constant, it can get annoying and more times than not, I’d rather just close the game than watch yet another ad. To buy the ad free version is $10, which I feel is way too much for this type of game. They need to scale the ads back.

Update: been playing for a while but it has been stuck on the loading page for weeks now! I’ve updated the app and same thing. I hate to delete it and lose all my progress so I’m dropping the stars even more. Super buggy game and I definitely would not be buying the ad free version.

I usually don’t complain about ads… and I get it, it’s a free game where ad revenue is probably the only money they’d get from this… but I only played for less than 5 minutes and faced about 3-4 ads, each one being about 30 seconds. That, and another damage to add on is well, I got this from the ads for this game, it looked fun, but of course it’s not as advertised. Of course it wouldn’t be! Why would I think that? It’s like a worse version of all the copy-paste merging games, with tools being bought with the small amount of coins you get, really just another cash grab. It’s tolerable if you don’t care, but it is pretty soulless and draining like the rest of them. Honestly it’s boring too.
