Not good, Frustrating, misleading.

This starts off much too easy, getting harder as you go. But it never tells you when you have changed levels. They need to insert that in there. It is also almost impossible to contact them to tell them they were wrong about some thing. It asked questions that don’t even apply, So you’re not even sure that what you’re saying is getting to them. And the further they go the more wrong they are. And they begin to ask strange questions that have nothing to do with the Bible. And quite often they give A question where one version of the Bible says one word and a different version of the Bible says a different word and only one of those will they accept as being correct. Yet they never tell you which Version they are using. Also they are timing you so if you have to stop and handle something else it kicks you out and You have to start the game over. They also never tell you that you should not use your diamonds/ crystals to continue on with a game. You’re going to need them later for other things. So all in all it was very frustrating, even though I was able to answer almost all of their questions correctly, I was pretty disgusted with the Quality of the game. It can be misleading to people who don’t know the Bible well. I do not recommend it. I played it for a long time just to double check. Don’t bother.
Ads and Guilt!

by Mstori880
I have read the Bible over 10 times over the last few years in whole and so far the answers are accurate, but the ads are insane!!!! Literally every 5-20 seconds an ad plays as I can answer the beginning questions up many levels quickly. I just can’t anymore at this point as I’m too annoyed. I even considered removing the ads, but then I seen a Bible verse trying to make people feel guilty about those who give to you, we are to give 10%. First, the 10% tithe no longer applies as it used to. We give according to our hearts - it is no longer a requirement. Perhaps the creator of DailyBibleTrivia should study their own Bible. For that reason I am going to remove DailyBibleTrivia . It happened 3 times in about 20 minutes - give me a break. I have zero issue paying to remove a reasonable amount of ads but this was intrusive, obnoxiously annoying and the guilt they try was nauseating.
Do better!!

Game is definitely not for anyone under 5th grade - much reading and speed is an issue. Suggestions to get hints even before the answers are up are offered so you don’t get to read options. One wrong answer (or think a little too long before clicking answer) and it is counted as wrong and you either pay with gems or loose every thing you played 29-30 minutes to accumulate! Not a positive game.
Needs work, 2 major issues

Played the game for months without purchasing the “no adds” option and enjoyed playing it as there was no “TIMER” and I could sit and relax and ponder on each question. The only drawback was the annoying adds but was willing to put up with the adds until one day months later I decided I liked it enough to purchase so it would not have the pesky adds any more.
HOWEVER, after finally deciding I liked it enough to spend the $4.99 on it there was a change in format and the game switched to a “timed” mode, and there was no option to switch from timed to an “at your leisure” option. To say the least, NOT HAPPY. I enjoyed the fact that I had no timer! That was taken away after purchase. The other issue is the questions are written oddly and not stated in a more casual manner. I’m assuming the questions were written by individuals from other country as the formatting of the questions doesn’t seem to be from more of an American standardized language concept, which is why I enjoyed the NO TIMER before purchase. Anyway, the developers should put an option to enable people the choice of timed or leisure (no time limit). One question was abut why Moses was hidden as a baby. It was formatted more difficulty as a sentence and my thought was ‘Why not just say “Why was Moses hidden away as a baby?” Simplicity just seems to be the best route when asking questions.
Unfortunately, despite being well-developed with simple yet lovely graphics and easy UI, this game severely lacks in Biblical theology. The wordings if some questions do not line up with Scripture quite right (particularly about angels). But I chalked it up to developers wanting to make questions short and kept going. I actually stopped gameplay and deleted DailyBibleTrivia the moment a question about what names of angels are in the Bible. It actually used the name of an “angel” from an extra-biblical source called the Apocrypha, and you will get the answer wrong if you do not select the option that includes that name. This is not properly biblical canon and does not belong in a Bible trivia/quiz game. There is no such angel as Raphael named in the Bible, and God has strong warnings against adding to and removing from His Word. The Apocrypha and other extra-biblical texts that claim to be “lost books of the Bible” are ALL uninspired, manmade additions written either well after official New Testament biblical canon closed, or have no source prior to the Old Testament canon having been closed. That places such texts outside of the Bible as God said He would not speak through prophets any longer. I’m pretty disappointed in DailyBibleTrivia.
Not completely Biblical
2024-02-16
by Dtsaggie
This is fun. However, some of the questions are not about the Bible; rather they focus on notions that are tangential or extra Biblical. This happened when I was working through one of the daily questions with one of my granddaughters and a subsequent trivia question that had, what I considered to be the wrong answer.
Saying this without validation is not helpful. So, I am speaking from 40+ years of personal Bible study, having completed a Masters degree in Theology (ThM, which includes knowledge of Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek (have personally translated most of the New Testament)), currently serving as an Executive pastor in a Bible Church, 10 years in a para church organization, conducting seminars on four continents equipping laymen and pastors to study the Bible since 2007.

I just missed, for the 2nd time in less than 2 weeks, another question that I answered correctly because YOU had the WRONG answer: Satan NEVER said, “I am the bright and Morningstar” - JESUS DID, in Revelation 22:16!!!!!!! The ONLY mention of Satan anywhere near that is Isaiah 14:12 where the Holy Spirit thru the prophet Isaiah says: “How thought art fallen from Heaven O Lucifer, son of the morning”. In my last review regarding who issued the decree that caused Joseph & Mary to leave Galilee, I rated your app 3 stars because I really love Bible trivia and wanted to continue using your app. However, after the above MOST FLAGRANT ERROR regarding Satan being credited with Jesus’ words I am thinking I’ll delete your app. Do you not realize how this kind of GROSSLY ERRONEOUS information can cause the young Christian or the hungry seeker to go astray?! That’s just the kind of junk that Satan loves. Please, please have someone independent of the quiz writer(s) verify your data before releasing it, please?!
Very basic trivia with questionable ads
2023-06-06
by LS20
The trivia in this game is very basic, surface-level knowledge that stays very simplistic. This alone isn't necessarily a problem, but the ads are both RELENTLESS and very un-christian. Can't click two buttons without seeing an ad with an animated girl in underwear or having to sit through one of those "romance game" ads. Had to delete. Don't think this game was made by (or for) Christians.
Need some improvement
2024-04-28
by TKH143!
I have 2 improvements that i wish would happen. One is the game is timed which for some people like myself the pressure isn’t fun and I’d like to also take my time and actually learn. Second if you get it wrong it gives you like 2 seconds to view the right answer with the question again lol I wish you could either have a choice when to move on or be able to look at the question you got wrong later, something. Just being able you to take your time answering would be helpful then the question and answer would sink in more, not like we’re going to cheat there is no reward system we’re choosing to learn the word here.
I love Bible trivia and there will always be a question here and there that you may not agree with. However, after just one day of playing this trivia (which starts out super easy), there were waaay too many questions that were either asked odd or just wrong. For instance, when asking “who could walk on water”… the answer they were searching for was Jesus. But I immediately went to all who put their faith in Christ in reference to the story of Peter in the storm. You’ll find a lot of questions with this kind of wording and it’s just not working for me. Maybe you’ll love it. But this is my two cents.
Not a Fan

I think that anything created with the intention of spreading the gospel is a good thing. But I have to admit I’m not a fan of the game. There’s a sort of reward system in the game where you earn coins. It was very off putting for me. I just feel like I don’t want to earn or barter anything I just want to learn and/or relearn. The questions in my opinion are also very rudimentary which is great for son but there could maybe be levels or something to indicate specificity. Additionally the number of add and the aesthetics of the game were unappealing. Unfortunately I have decided to uninstall.
So many ads
2024-05-16
by Meganfriedd
I want to love DailyBibleTrivia because I think it’s a great concept but there are sooo many ads & pop ups that take forever to get through. Would also love to see actual “levels” added so that when questions go from super easy to more difficult there’s some sort of identifier. There have also been some inaccurate questions/answers on these or just worded very strangely.
Love the idea & quizzing myself really helps me realize the amount of info I’m be retained. Hopefully developers can change some of these things in the future to make it more user friendly
Inaccurate

This is the 3rd mistake I have found while playing this game. All cost me points. Don’t you read your Bible when you ask these questions? I already reviewed you once on a mistake. I let the 2nd one slide, but not this one. The question was: How many trees were in the midst of the Garden of Eden? The choices were 2, 0, 1, and an infinite number. The latter should have been the correct answer, but you said 2. Nope; incorrect. “Out of the ground the LORD God caused to grow every tree that is pleasing to the sight and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.” (Genesis 2:9, NASB) the key word here is “also”. However, farther down in the chapter, one reads, “ 16 The LORD God commanded the man, saying, "From any tree of the garden you may eat freely; 17 but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die." (Genesis 2:16, NASB). From ANY tree. Not 2. I rest my case. For Pete’s sake, please double check your answers according to what the BIBLE says!
Format is hard to navigate

Questions are super basic. You have to go through a lot of waiting for next playing of each round making sure you aren’t clicking on a added cost of I think is like $7 PER WEEK! You get three quick questions… takes like 10 seconds or less to answer and then add after add pop up for 20-30seconds…UNLESS, it makes you so frustrated and you click on “skip adds” which I had read this would activate the subscription! Don’t waste your time. I’d give it a one star but I hear if there are comments three or more the administration can delete the comments.
I've been a Bible reader, listener, teacher for 70 years and it's fun to see how much detail I remember in answering questions. And there are some oddball questions for sure. I have found 2, maybe 3, incorrect answers to questions. One had Cain and Abel switched and one today said Jesus fed 300 people, not 5000. Their site wants you to document the errors but it doesn't stay on the screen long enough for a screen shot nor can you go back to the question in question. Also, what is the point of the coins and Radiance points? There is no explanation that I can find on their site. It would be great if they could be redeemed for jewels. So I will continue to play it some but not as much as I initially did. And I'm not likely to recommend it to friends.
GREAT Bible Ed - BUT. . The Diamonds ?!💎
2025-01-01
by Mrenecoat
I like DailyBibleTrivia and the questions, though some of them seem to be a bit irrelevant to the “need to know” in the Bible category. However, it’s still a good learning experience! What I think could be improved for those of us who likely will continue to play the “free version” is to start us off with EQUAL amounts of both COINS 💰& DIAMONDS 💎.
WHY? It’s obvious that the game needs BOTH, but uses up the diamonds MUCH faster, bringing the player to a dead-end QUICKLY, or watching endless minutes of ads for FREE diamonds in order to continue playing.
Keep getting kicked off!!!

Overall, I really love this game. It reinforces my knowledge of the Bible, BUT it keeps kicking me off in the last question before the end. I don’t have any ad blockers, so it’s not that. Please!!! Help, I really enjoy playing this game. If you can fix it, I’ll gladly give it 5 stars, if not, I’ll just have to delete it and find a different game. Could you at least answer my review. Thank you.

I Was Really Enjoying This Game, It’s Very Refreshing, But Who Ever Wrote The Questions Should Know The Bible/Answers. I Don’t Know Everything But I Know Moses Didn’t Part The Red Sea, Abraham Didn’t Sacrifice His Son, And Other Mistakes That Has Questions That Are Dubiously Worded, And Questions That Have No Biblical Reference No One Is Perfect, But Really. I'm Gonna Give It Another Try Before Deleting It, And Reevaluating The Rating🤔
Correction

I do enjoy this game for learning, review, and checking my knowledge. However, there is a question about which book of the New Testament ends with … the answer was Jude, but it did not end with Amen. There is another similar question on which book of the Bible scripture ending with Amen, but Jude and Revelation were not listed in the possible answers.
Also, what is the purpose of Radiance Points? Why can’t they be used similar to coins and gems for hints or more games? Also, I would learn a lot more if given time to research the answers to difficult questions.
I have been playing this game for days and is really great game that you can learn a lot from. However, I have come across a couple questions whose answers where incorrect or the question itself was incorrect. For example there was a question saying something like “Cain was the shepherd and Abel was…” in which the correct answer in the game was like farmer or tiller of the ground or something like that. But really Cain was the farmer, the he worked the soil and Abel was the shepherd. Which can also confuse people trying to learn about the Bible, I would recommend rechecking the questions and answers from the game and make sure they are ACTUALLY correct and align with the truth in the Bible, thanks.
4-stars

It’s a great game in that it challenges your biblical skill set and knowledge of the Bible; however, I gave it 4 stars, because I do not like the “pick a card” portion of the games where you win 2x’s or 4x’s the amount received. The “pick a card” portion of the game remind me so much of tarot cards, which defies God and His holiness.
I like the advancements that the pick a card gives you while playing. I just wish there was a way to continue doing that without having to “pick a card”. That’s just my small gripe.
Love this app! BUT it freezes too much.

I was SO excited to get DailyBibleTrivia! I love playing games on my phone and as one viewer previously posted, I feel guilty a lot of times for spending more time playing games than reading the Word. So this was a win win for me. It’s also been great to play with my 14 year old daughter. It brings up a lot of conversations and teaching her things she didn’t know yet! I do have one complaint (and I’ve seen this several times already). DailyBibleTrivia freezes CONSTANTLY. So bad that it freezes my phone up! I’ve had to shut my phone down several times to get it to unfreeze. PLEASE fix this as I would love to continue to play.

I enjoy playing this game it shows you how much you know the Word of God but the one thing I dislike about this game is all the Ads after ever win. I despise that and this will keep me away from the game. I cans see and Ad after 3 wins in a row but after every win, I can’t held that many Ads and I probably delete the game because of it and I shouldn’t have to use my Diamonds to get free from Ads. It would be nice if you lessen the Ads, other than that I would have given it 5 stars
Questions

by Claire'smimi
I love playing this game, but there’s a question which was asked that’s not biblical. The question was, what Christian prayer is prayed regarding Mary the mother of Jesus. Your answer was Hail Mary. That is a prayer made up by the Catholics. No where in the Bible does it say to pray to Mary. She was blessed among women, but she had to be saved through Jesus the same as everyone else. Jesus’s brother James didn’t recognize Christ as Savior until after Jesus arose from the grave. Jesus says, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one can come to the Father except by Me. Get facts straight.
Great game for followers of Christ to see what they know!

As a Christ follower, I love this game! It helps me to show what I know about the Living Word of God (the only Living God who sent His Son Jesus to die in place of us, because of us, and for us), and has taught me what I don’t know. The levels start out easy and get harder as you progress! It’s definitely made me want to dive into the Word a lot more and has made my studies of God’s word that much more enjoyable! Highly, highly, highly recommend for any Christian of any denomination!

I have enjoyed doing this Bible study that you have presented with the exception of when you started asking about the Trinity if you truly study the word you will know that there is not a Trinity because and and JOHN and Taylor is it that his father and he o God is a spirit play Jesus did was put a face Apple on God and as you study the word the word tells you that all power and heaven and a nurse who is giving it to him and that there was it is only one thrown

I am going to give this five stars because it is a good game, but so far I have found 2 wrong answers. The question asked something like “ what was the name of the angel thrown down to earth who tempted Jesus in the desert”. The answer given was Satan. Satan was his name on earth but in heaven he was an angel and his name was Lucifer. Secondly another question asked how many laws were there in the Bible. The answer said 10 when actually there are 613 laws. A better question would have been how many laws were written on the stone tablet. Just saying- - - - -

I usually don’t review apps but DailyBibleTrivia has me at wow! Most of the time when I talk to others about the Bible and I can’t revert to the verse. I feel like I know nothing when I know what I know is from the Bible. DailyBibleTrivia has helped me so much, that I do know and all within God behind me all the way. I hope it doesn’t sound like I’m arrogant but in hopes of not doubting yourself when you’re in the word. DailyBibleTrivia helps learn what you don’t know. Truly love DailyBibleTrivia.
Great app thus far! No crazy annoying ads although there are suggestions to purchase stuff but they do give you a quick option to exit out..for the record I’ve only had it one day ;). One suggestion that I would make off which I saw someone else made a year ago and that is give me the option to use the hints and not force me to use it. Thanks for creating DailyBibleTrivia and I pray that it will continue to be a blessing to many.

I truly enjoy this game but my only issue is one of the Solitaire commercials is Jenny Mcartney taking the Lord’s name in vain. I understand that you can’t always control your sponsers content but over the past two days of playing on and off I’ve seen that one commercial at least 10 times. I still gave this five stars because the game is wonderful, I’m just not a fan of certain commercials. Thank you
