Disappointed

The 1 star is simply because I like spot the difference games, not for the game itself. First off, the pictures used to advertise the game and the ones that are actually in the game aren’t the same. I find that very misleading. One reason I downloaded this game was because I liked the scenes. So, it was very disappointing when I realized it was just a bunch of random pictures of rooms or food that all look alike. The second and last thing is the fact that after every disappointing puzzle is an ad that I must sit through and I don’t even have the option to skip. I understand that ads are how games stay free, but having ads that appear after every level with no option to skip seems a little bit much.

Way, Way, Way Too Many Ads

I was first drawn to the graphics featured in an advertisement for this game, but I have been playing for a couple of weeks and have not seen anything like what first drew me in. The graphics on this game are pretty good, but you must watch an ad before and after each scene. The frequency and duration of ads are mind numbing (in a bad way). I don’t see a way to pay to opt out of the advertising onslaught. Too bad. Also there’s no way to opt out of their collection of my data. Their notice says if you don’t like it, delete Findspotthedifference . I will delete. I find it disheartening that creative people behave it way. Sigh.

Where Do I Start?

This will be the first negative review I’ve given of any game ever. I’m usually a push over, and always look for the good and everything. But this game has nothing but bad. First very poor quality graphics and design. The images are so small that you have to use a magnifier to see them. And my eyesight’s pretty decent. But by far this game had more ads than any I have ever played. I support game creators and appreciate that they need to have ads. But there is an ad every time you just hit the next button after the previous ad. When you hit the next arrow to get to the next game after you watched the ads, you have yet another ad to grt to the next ad. I’ve never seen the likes. So I looked to see if I could pay to remove the ads and there is nothing to be found. This game was made with poor thinking and taste.

Tricks you by showing cartoon s that are not there EVER, NEVER

I have played Findspotthedifference to 102 and all I got was distilled prints a very tiny pictures and outlines showing five differences that I had to identify and never got to the cartoon pictures that they described and showed me when they were advertised in Findspotthedifference . I continued onto the 100 thinking that eventually maybe 100 they would start showing me the type difference s they depicted to advertise never happen I am at 102 downloaded Findspotthedifference three days big waste of time you still get the scenario pic no cartoon or popular character a big waste of my time false advertisement BIG TIME I Will Be DELETING Findspotthedifference off my iPad NEVER TO ADD IT AGAIN##@#% What?

Potential spam and virus producer

Like another find the difference game by Yolo, my playing kept being interrupted by being suddenly taken to a web page claiming to be doing a scam if my system in the hopes that I would purchase their product. Since I hadn't given permission for my phone to be scammed, I x'd out of the tab as quickly as possible. The company was not one I had seen before. With the previous game, my phone actually began sounding an alarm after I had closed the tab and begun playing again. I had never heard that sound on my phone before and was afraid the intruder had implanted something to my phone. I deleted that game then. I don't remember the company name but did notice it was the same one in the both games causing me to believe both companies are interconnected. I will not allow anyone to take advantage of me. I will not allow anyone to download anything without my express permission. And I will not ever play this particular game again. It's clear I cannot trust it.

Potential, but not there.

Findspotthedifference has/had potential, but is also lacking and VERY annoying with the ads.

The levels never get harder, so the challenge never increases. And the current levels are fairly easy.

But my biggest gripe is the ads. I do not mind ads to help pay for a developers work, but there are two BIG problems here:
1) An ad every level is excessive e and just greedy.
2] The time you have to wait just starting at the get now screen in the add is WAY TOO LONG, sometimes more tha 30+ seconds after the ad has finished. That means the ads take longer than the game play.

I immediately delete any ad supported game where the developers are so greedy they insert ads between even play, and especially anooying if the ads are longer the the play time. Findspotthedifference strikes out on both accounts. DELETED.

Developers, when you stop being so greedy and balance the ads to 25% of the time, let me know, I might try again..

Okay but repetitive & too many ads

Has potential to be 5 star
Positives:
- You are given a reasonable amount of time to search.
- The pictures are nice
- Relaxing

Negatives:
- Repetitive
- It doesn’t increase the challenge level. (There’s no increase in the number of items you need to find i.e. from 5 to 10)
- The ads are a bit excessive (popping up after every level)

Suggested improvements
• adding levels where the number of differences increases from 5-10
• Reduce the number of ads

I like the game but after a few days it has become too repetitive and not very challenging. I’m playing the game less but I was going to keep it to see if future updates addressed this. However because of the amount of ads I think I’m going to delete it. I spend as much time, if not more, watching ads than I do actually playing the game. Most levels are relatively easy and only take me 10-20 seconds to complete (I have timed it) then an ad pops up, which takes 15-30 seconds (on average). (There are a few levels that are a bit harder and take approx 30 seconds.)

I understand that free games require us to watch ads, but this is on the high end. I have played several others find the difference games and the good ones find a balance between game play and ads, (i.e. an ad after completing a few levels, not after every level.)

Ho-humm…

I waited ‘till level 68 to write…

The beginning is a bit boring and not challenging, as some reviews write, but I wanted to stick it out a bit…

And the ads are excessive. Fifteen seconds here, thirty seconds there. Get thru one, request the next round, and another ad descends upon you…

At one point, I must have done something right. A flash appears, lower right, from time-to-time. Was it a speed trial? I don’t much care for speed games. But for once, I had several games in a row, ad free.

A suggestion would be to trade-in magnifiers — free clues — for fewer ads. I’d used not one clue. But to no benefit.

At game level 68, where the pictures are trending more and more intricate landscapes, where the ‘find’ is a missing rock or scenery, I’m finding seem more a chore and less a challenge.

I downloaded, due to the ad and 4.8 rating. But I see there are relatively few users, actually. I’m going to delete.

But I do thank you for the anticipation, and the day’s gameplay…. (╹◡╹)

Ads causing issues

UPDATE I already deleted the game. I couldn’t stand it anymore. It was a tiki solitary, I believe. You had to click on free play a few timesBefore it would let you move forward, but even then it didn’t give you the option to close the game.I had to close theGame and start over. But I appreciate your reply.

The Ads that are constantly appearing lock up my game every time. I have to close it and/or reboot each time. Never gives me an option to close the ads. I will soon delete it if issue continues. also I keep seeing duplicate puzzles every once in a while.

Found an error

I tried hard to find a way to let you know without a public forum. This game is good. I especially like that you can magnify without having a charge of some sort to limit since vision can be an issue that has made me delete others. On Level 144, on the shelf on the left of the picture, the items are reversed but the difference when found is not acknowledged. Small thing but worth fixing! I like the game & it is a continual challenge some more that others which is a very good thing! Have a great day & thank you for putting out a great game without some of the objectionable humor that so many seem to have!

Finding the items, “pop-up helper” don’t like!

I have to say your “search looking glass” (when it pops up) is in a detrimental place! While I’m searching and scrolling it inadvertently pops into the picture while I’m concentrating on searching for the differences! I don’t like that spot where it pops up. Maybe could you just have the magnifying glass stay where it is (and sparkle or shine or shake) in the bottom R corner NOT popping up right in the way because it does that, there have been several times when I didn’t want to know where the final object is! I wanted to find the final difference myself w/o the help. And bc of this was thinking of deleting Findspotthedifference !

Ads

I really enjoy the game, but I can’t find any way to block the ads. Most other games have an option to disable ads with a purchase, but not this one.

Edit: in response to the developer’s comment, I understand the need to sell ads to keep it free, however, even if you offered the player the opportunity to buy out of ads, you’re still selling ads, and getting the money from them. Plus, you know not everyone is going to buy the opportunity to not see ads.

You have an ad after every level, and they don’t all have the opportunity to click the arrow to move on. Some of the ads are extremely long and take up too much time.

I really enjoy the game, but it’s getting harder and harder to play because of the ads. Why not limit the amount of time for each ad? Many other free games have a time limit on their ads.

Many of the comments here are about the ads, and your response is always the same. Why not allow the users to buy out of the ads? You’re making money from that too.

Love this game!

I love this game! My only caution to any newbie is that it’s probably best played on a computer or laptop with a larger screen. I’m playing it on my small iPhone. I’m missing the last different item often because I can’t see such a minute detail, even with my screen at full brightness. That’s why the 4 stars. Without that issue, it’s definitely a 5 star game. Interesting pictures for older teens/adults. Not whining, just sayin. Still will continue playing. Thank you!

relaxing games

I like playing this game to relax and to exercise my eyes. Everyday that pass, I’m getting better because I learned to move my eyes around to find the differences. Some games are hard to see because the pictures aren’t that clear, others are bright. I like the magnifying glass, it’s an important tool when I get stuck. I also like that I can zoom the pictures to see then bigger. It’s a good game to play when you have free time. I like it and I recommend it

Entertaining!

Finding the differences can be challenging, but is very entertaining. There are options to give yourself more time or to receive a hint, when you seem to be stuck. The ads (for the most part) are relatively brief, allowing game play ro resume. It took me a while to figure out that after you complete one 3-game groupings, that you are able to go back to previous days that you may have missed.

Sparkles

I have played this game for a while now and have always enjoyed it. This morning I noticed a change that would be okay if it were tested properly. The sparkles noting the differences do not move when you zoom in or out, making the picture hard to see. Even if you don’t use the zoom feature they just block the picture. Very bad decision. My rating will change to 5 stars if this is fixed.

Issue was fixed by the next day so 5 stars!

Improving your mind memory skills

This improves your concentration and ability to focus & be decisive & to remember details in any Situation… this is a very important to always do. It’s a great challenge in order to improve & Keep the mind sharp!!!

On puzzle 13 on the cement at the bottom of your barn…. In the bottom puzzle both sides are gray & in the top puzzle one side of the cement on the bottom right I’d painted blue !!!! I’m not mistaken & you think I am …..u r wrong!!!!

Brain Steiner

This helps me with my forgetfulness which has been so bad and getting worse with age. This game helps me to focus on the
I think it’s great for people of our age plus I had breast cancer and had to go through chemo and radiation it’s taken alot out of me and each year it has been a little more. This just keeps my eyes working and my brain. Thank you

“Fireballs”

I have changed my rating to 5 stars, which is what you truly deserve. Per my original review, you made the “fireballs” go away. I really love this game. It’s easy and fun to play. And it IS my favorite game!!! 🤗👍🏻👏🏻

I would’ve given you 5 stars as I love the game, but the “fireballs” that you’ve added make my eyes hurt terribly. Why would you do that? I’ll try it again in a few days. If the “fireballs” still show up, I’ll delete the game and never play it again, ever! Why did you have to go and ruin it? It WAS my favorite game, until now!

The best part is, there’s no time limit

I like finding the differences between pictures, and I don’t like games that force you to find them within a few seconds or a minute and then they make you watch ads to extend your time this game lets you finish the whole level at your own pace.
