I paid for a pro membership and am deeply disappointed.
To take advantage of live activities, I need to turn push notifications on. Since doing so, I’ve gotten non stop spam from BoxBoxClub including developer errors of sending out two of the same notifications 🤦♂️
I LOVE the box box app— but now the race schedule widget on my lock screen has a translucent box around it that does not match the other apple widgets (shows FP1, Quali & race in a box). Please change it back (quali & race w no box) or add options to customize the widgets. Considering deleting BoxBoxClub because it doesn’t look good on my lock screen anymore.
It is one thing to require a subscription for widget support in the first place, and I would be fine with it if that was the case when I downloaded BoxBoxClub originally, but to take away the widget support under the free tier AFTER THE FACT? Why? You’ve lost any chance at me subscribing now.
The widgets and live activities are great, but ruined by the fact that using them means having to receive spam notifications (“TAP HERE TO BE SENT TO YOUR WEBSITE AND DOWNLOAD AN IMAGE”). This is on the paid plan and presumably is for the purpose of getting users outside a sandboxed app to enable more tracking.
There’s also a major bug in the large countdown widget on iPhone 13 Pro Max where some of the countdown numbers are often replaced by ellipses. This persisted after trying a reboot as well as a software update.
I’d happily pay for the subscription plan if there weren’t apparent uses of engagement farming throughout BoxBoxClub .
I originally got BoxBoxClub last year just because it offered many widgets for the Home Screen which is still cool. But within BoxBoxClub itself, I can’t look at my favorite driver’s stats without hitting a paywall. Last year I was able to look at the stats so what happened? I get that the creators have to make money but c’mon bro
The widgets show up as blank. It briefly worked for Bahrain then when back to blank for Australia. I noticed that other people have been having this problem and you tell them all to restart their phone yet I have restarted my phone multiple times and they are still blank. This is a problem with your app that you need to fix instead of giving the same copied and pasted response to everyone about restarting their phones.
It’s the best looking app I’ve used in a while but it’s frustratingly buggy sometimes. The notification doesn’t clear as expected, they don’t refresh correctly, live tracking isn’t working even though I upgraded like it said. Also it hounds you for a review…
I’ve paid for it. And when I try to use it on my Apple Watch, it still tells me that I need to upgrade to pro. widgets on lock screen Don’t seem to work well either.
It really is a great app but it is very limited and somewhat useless compared to other formula 1 apps out there, but it does have nice features that other don’t have which is nice, but you’ll wish that it had more functionality rather than just 4-5 free things you can use on your lock/home screen
I LOVED all the features of BoxBoxClub for the 2023 season, however in 2024 none of the featured work. All of the widgets just sit blank, for Bahrain it didn’t load in until race day and for Jeddah the race is tomorrow and mine is still stuck on Bahrain. BoxBoxClub is fully updated and I’ve tried shutting and restarting my phone but nothing has fixed it. It might just be an issue on my end but when it’s working I highly recommend!
With the new upgrade I can’t see the current race week while it goes, it already changes to the next one and we are still on the practices. I liked how it has before so k can check the time of the race and qualifying days.
Box Box is a really cool app and has so many cool features and the Subscription is definitely worth it. Although the widgets are constantly glitching and will just go blank or disappears. And there seems to be no way to fix it until they just pop back up in a couple of weeks.
I LOVE BoxBoxClub for countdowns and keeping track, but recently it hasn't been showing up. My widgets have gone black and the lock screen widgets won't show up anymore. I've deleted BoxBoxClub as well and redownloaded it, but nothing works.
Widgets were working perfectly fine till today when all my favourite constructor and driver was erased and reset to ferrari and ocon with no ability to change it.
As a pro user on Ios 16 it seems like there’s no way to choose what constructor and driver are your favorite, really disappointing cause it looks so good! Other than that the schedule widget for the Lock Screen looks great. Just want to be able to pick my favorite driver and constructor!
The new update is cool but I miss the old lock screen widgets, the new one’s doesn’t go with my wallpaper especially the ones that have light red box around the widgets.
Overall, BoxBoxClub is very useful and easy to operate. I also use the lock screen widget but doesn’t allow you to choose a driver, it only shows who is leading and when you click on the widget to choose the driver it only says Checo but when it shows on your lock screen it’s max.
Box Box is the superior app for iPhone when it comes to every aspect. The highlight of BoxBoxClub is its amazing widget’s that they offer. The premium upgrade is very reasonably priced, and they are always making great updates to BoxBoxClub . Couldn’t recommend BoxBoxClub more!!

If you’re an F1 fan BoxBoxClub has everything you could want as a fan. News, stats, live timing, fantastic widgets and so much more. I’ve been using BoxBoxClub since the beginning and they’re constantly adding new features and QOL improvements. It’s definitely worth every cent and the community on discord is great as well.

I absolutely love Box Box and think it is the best sports and definitely Formula 1 app I have ever used. The functionality with widgets & live activity, head to head driver comparisons, weather updates built into the schedule, and an incredible newsfeed give me everything I need from an F1 app. Along with this, the design is by far the best I have ever seen from any sports app. Great work!
For someone who has recently entered the world of F1 , BoxBoxClub has helped guide me through understanding of the sport. It’s a great platform to learn, keep up to date, and deep dive into the ever changing world of F1. Highly recommended.

You guys saved my life, I appreciate it, I’m only 9 years old and I am obsessed with formula 1, I love BoxBoxClub, it notifies and informs me on when all races start and what the status of my favorite racer is, and if you like Soccer, then try out Fotmob. It also does the same thing, box box saves lives! Try it out anytime, anywhere.
Awesome app! Only thing I would ask for is to have a general constructors/drivers standing as a widget. Otherwise, amazing!

Really love the features of BoxBoxClub on how you can customize to your favorite driver and team, and the countdown. The interface is easy to use and i love that you can also have a widget for it on your home screens so convenient!
I have been using BoxBoxClub for quite some time now and I have waited to do my review. This team updates BoxBoxClub CONSTANTLY it was great when it launched and it has just continued to get better and better. If you are a fan of F1 you need BoxBoxClub. Not only is it unbelievably functional, but it looks incredible. 5+ stars for sure.
BoxBoxClub keeps up to date with points, placements, drivers, and in general news both in and out of the season. I bought Box Box Pro because I liked BoxBoxClub so much. I also really enjoy the widgets that are able to be placed, it’s super cool looking!
BoxBoxClub is useful and straightforward, especially on my IPAD Pro. There aren't many F1 Widget apps to compare, but this one is unquestionably the best.
Looks amazing and has so many different widget options. Definitely one of my favorite apps. I’m constantly checking the F1 app for times so it’s nice to have it right there every time I unlock my phone. Doesn’t get any better!!
Box box is the best looking app and greatest app I’ve seen for F1 Fans. I’m glad to have stumbled upon BoxBoxClub! I usually don’t write reviews but for BoxBoxClub it was absolutely a must! Absolutely beautiful app and UI Design.
Downloaded a few days ago and found the interface easy to follow. The content is interesting and convenient.
Had I not known, I would’ve thought that this was an official F1 release. The widgets are clean and simple, very on-brand and can’t believe it is completely free

By far the best F1 widget app. Love the look of the widgets and how they’re constantly updating them. Also love the live race function that appears on the Lock Screen.
