I’ve been using the Covet app for years but wanted to try something different. I downloaded Fashion Stylist-dress up game and at first it was so much fun! Then the ads began freezing up or repeating in an endless loop and the only way I could stop the freezing and looping was to close the game. I was playing the game, I had thousands of dollars when I went to bed. When I got up the game had been reset and I had to start over again. So easy come easy go, stuff happens. But in my play too many times I would watch the ad to play the “special games” and I would have to do it twice, so I had to watch 2 ads more than once. One special game I had placed above 10th place then I stopped the arrow on the bar at 4X the prize and WOULD have been awesome! Guess what the ad froze and wouldn’t move until I closed the app and of course I got nothing not even the original amount! And that has happened 3,4,6,8 times. That d**n ad for Royal Match almost always freezes as well as the one for Episode. So I’ll go back to Covet though I really liked the game when it worked correctly. Alas, The Fashion Stylist app has been removed from my phone.

This game is a lot of fun. There are lots of ads after every little thing. That would be fine if the ads or the game didn’t mess up. Once that particular game messes up, the opportunity is lost. You are in the middle of the big game that you played all the daily games to reach, then you’re knocked out of the app or it just locks up. When you start it back up, you don’t get the chance to play again. Now you have to wait for the next day and then go through all the games again, sometimes just for the same thing to happen. With so many ads, that just means so many more opportunities for the game to screw up. What’s the point of playing if you can’t finish? No matter how good this game is, it’s useless to play under these circumstances. If that problem didn’t exist, I would say this was the best fashion game app available. It’s a real shame it glitches out like that.

I’m sure there’s a game in there somewhere, I just am not willing to spend my time on earth on waiting through an ad after every other button click — including in the styling room. No, I am not exaggerating. Just download Covet or SuitsMe, they have the exact art style you see here. The makeup styles featured in the art for this app, in my opinion, seem to have taken VERY direct inspiration from Covet.

Also they sell a $10/month VIP subscription, on top of offering direct purchase of gems, and the game has a banner ad running at the bottom. They know how to make money, but I’m curious what their player retention numbers look like.
