I actually love the game play. But there are ads after literally every level, and sometimes when you open BlockBlast . This completely ruins the game. And the interstitial ads are IN ADDITION to the banner ads they show when you’re playing.

I don’t mind supporting good developers who write great apps, and this game could be great. I wouldn’t mind paying to remove the ads, but I can’t. And some of the ads are over 30 seconds long, and there are a bunch you can’t fast-forward through.

My advice: don’t install this game, despite the fact that it’s a good game. You’ll spend more time looking at ads then you spend actually playing.

Great game and almost little to no delay. I would suggest to give the option to pay for the ad/ad blockers. I would prefer to continually play without interruption. I would pay for it! Please give the option.

So I love this game but I have to give it one star
After playing for awhile I noticed my phone was starting to freeze well…..it caused my phone to stop working. I had to drive 45 minutes to an Apple Store because my phone was under warranty thank god!!! So unfortunately I can’t play a game I enjoy. So watch it if your phone starts freezing a lot stop playing. I was playing when my phone went dark. It’s the only time my phone ever did that when I was playing the game.
I’m sorry to the company who made this and I’ll bet I’m not the only one this happened too.

I love this game personally keeps me there stuck tryna beat my own high score but I wish you guys would add some things to it seems too simple like I wanna be able to change the colors to the blocks or have different sizes of boards etc.

I have been playing this game for awhile now and have enjoyed it until today, now all of a sudden it has animations. If I wanted to play a game with animation I would have picked one. It’s the whole reason I got hooked on this one because there wasn’t any. Thanks, I guess now it’s time to delete and find a different game. The very least app developers can do for those of us who don’t like all the animated movements within the game is an option to turn them off.

My whole family has downloaded this same game and it seems there are two different versions. One you get more points and different types of blocks. I want their version but am stuck with this version even when deleting and downloading again. Each family member either has version 1 or 2.

I love playing this game. The Ads are way too much. I wish you had the option to buy with no ads or at least fewer and shorter ads.

The ads they show on Tik Tok are not of this game. There is nothing that looks like Super Mario Brothers and the pieces don’t rotate. All you can do is place the pieces and you can’t see next. It’s fun for a minute but then needs deleted.

Developers- add in the ability to see next piece, allow pieces to be rotated, make a timer, and then you will have a fun game.

As of right now it’s just an advertisement trap. Every time you die you have to watch a 30 second ad.

This is my new favorite game and I find myself playing it all day. The only thing I don’t like is that they don’t make their adds accurate. They don’t need to though because this game is AMAZING!

I would like to give this game five stars because I am addicted to it but it does bog down while I am playing and when I try to get out of the game it makes my phone glitch. It would also be nice if you could flip the blocks

I just wish they would show high score history for myself and highest scores among other players. App works great and easy to learn.

I love this game, but I wish there weren’t so many ads. Is there an option to purchase it without ads? I would pay for that.

I personally think it is fun, but I can see myself getting bored with it quickly. Maybe add something to it. Something to work towards other than beating your own high score.

I’ve been playing for a while now and have reached High Score of 7299. But now I no longer have the “revive” option. Anyone else have this issue?

Its good, its hard to best my highscore but that makes it fun, but ads every second! You lose? Ad, you leave the game and come back? A! AD AD AD AD AD AD AD AD AD! enough is enough!! And it gets annoying, get some new blocks it gets kinda old and i keep getting the same blocks, also if i leave BlockBlast it turns the sound on, i want the sound off it’s annoying

I really love this game! The Graphics and the sound effects are great. And it’s a really good Brain Training. Definitely gonna keep playing! 🥰✨❤️

Love this game, but there are way too many ads, more than any other game I’ve played. And no option to purchase & remove the ads. I resist playing it because of this.

All games come with advertising, I get it. But BlockBlast has been ay too many and way too long. You have to wait about two minutes to be able to play again. And after a few try’s it got stuck in one of their commercials, I couldn’t get out of there and go back to my game. Definitely uninstalling!!

This is another standard block puzzle. There isn’t any Tetris style game where the blocks auto drop and you have to fit them in. Unless i am missing some option in settings, this is false advertising! Disappointed

I have come to realize that Block Blast is an extremely fun and interesting game that requires an abundance of strategy. It does become a little difficult at times, but that is just what makes it more enjoyable. However, I have noticed that every now and then it starts to play what sounds like a tampon advertisement. As a woman, I do not find this disturbing. On the other hand, the possibility of little boys downloading this game and hearing of the details of tampon insertion is not appropriate in the slightest. I wondered at first where it was coming from and even turned off the Sound and BGM options in the settings. The continuing commercial confused me even more because it was not like an add that I could see It was just a sound playing as I played the game. This has become a great inconvenience if I am trying to listen to music or watch a TV show on my phone at the same time. Overall, I love the game itself, but this is a bug that needs to be fixed.

Truly love this game. The puzzle and constant grasp to try and get further and further is great. It holds interest and is truly fun to play. However, the ADs are killing it. If I have to see another royal match AD I swear. I would love to just pay and never have to deal with it again but there’s not an option. Also, I agree with a couple of other comments I e seen. It seems like if you get on a streak and break a high score or advance some leveled they eventually give you pieces that you can’t make work no matter what. I feel like they do this to break in another opportunity to watch an AD. It really is a problem. If not corrected I will eventually have to pass on the game cause it is a major buzz kill. Also these are the ones that last a long time playing a video that you have to just wait through before it gives you the X to close out. There’s nothing you can do but wait. It’s terrible…

Some people don’t know that Apple allows app publishers to simply pay for a higher score in BlockBlast Store than the reviewers give it (BTW one of the main reasons why I will never buy an iPhone again, are you listening Apple?). Sure it has a “4.8 average score” but read the reviews and most people give it one or two stars because it’s not only a simplistic game that gets boring after a few minutes, you have to watch an ad for each of those minutes. Apple is totally fine with publishers using bot accounts to boost scores, and if you just give them a chunk of money they will make the “average score” a 4.8 no matter what the users say.
I should have known, the ad has a line at the bottom that says “creative copy goes here that makes them want to download the game” and BlockBlast store page itself can’t even spell the word “relaxing” correctly. The developers are even stupider than their target market, but they have cash so Apple is happy to let them manipulate us.

I read a similar review to the one I’m about to post. I really enjoyed the part of the game where there was always a way forward if you thought about it hard enough.

The new update has now removed that thrill from the game. Now once you hit 3000 points, the game algorithm now gives you pieces that are impossible to use. Is the reason for this to force users to watch advertising more?

Genuinely the reason I like this game, so much is because it gives players hope. If there is always a way to solve it, but sometimes it is harder to find this way, the knowledge that it is possible keeps you going. I have started to find that it is not possible. Once you get to around three or 4000 points, the game just shuts you down and doesn’t let you progress no matter how skilled you are.

If you take away hope, then it kind of makes you resent the game, and is crazy frustrating. Even if you have a completely clear board, there is nothing you can if the game automatically gives you that cannot be used.

Please return it back to how it was before the last update!!!!!!

I love this game a lot! I race with family and friends! However the new update with the weird pieces is not hitting it for me. They are cool pieces however it always makes my game end almost immediately. Yes they are there for a challenge but for people who do not care for the challenge at all times it’s a little rough! It would be great if it was optional, but all the time it’s by great! I place everything for the normal pieces and then all of the sudden I don’t have spots! Moral of the rant the crazy pieces should be optional and be able to turn off and on! I LOVE this game however not hate just suggestions!

My husband and I love this game! It really is a lot of fun. But we noticed that we started to lose before we started on the next “level”. It’s not a game where you have to put the blocks in the right place each level to move on. Once you become good, it’s about luck. I have lost so many times because there weren’t any moves to be made when the next level started. Didn’t put a single block down, lost because the next three blocks didn’t fit. Or I could fit one of the blocks in only ONE spot, and I lose because there was no other way for me to put the blocks in. I reached level 12k+ a few times and lost because of my fault OR lost because I had no moves. Now I can’t get past 5k for some reason. It’s just becoming more annoying than fun. Deleting this game. Don’t waste getting addicted!

The game itself is ok, the adds are killing it! You are given different shaped pieces that you put together until you fill the row/column. One it’s filled it disappears freeing space for new pieces. It can go forever!

After each fail (when you don’t have enough space on the board to fit the new pieces) an add starts. Each add lasts about 45-60 sec. The worst part is that you have to actually press various buttons to get rid of it. The add for Royal Match lasted about 2 1/2 minutes. After a full 1 minute video and I had to perform the same action over and over again about 8 times! Each time when I would press the ‘x’ or ‘Done’ instead of retuning to the game it would send me to BlockBlast Store.

Finally, after playing for about 1-2 month I deleted the game completely. It turned from a puzzle game into ‘killing the adds’ game.

I love this game. It’s very addicting however I have one problem other than all the adds. It kills your battery. My battery will be at 100% when I start playing then after 20 minutes of game play my battery will be down at 80%. I checked my battery usage for the last couple days and this game was responsible for 35% of battery usages. Every other app was between 1% and 7%. And some of the games I have I use just as much if not more than this game. Would love to keep this game however unless they fix the battery consumption issue I am going to delete it because I can’t afford to have my battery completely killed because of having to charge it so often due to this game.

I loved this game and I was addicted to it. At the bottom there are links that you can accidentally click on and opens them in safari, that didn’t bother me since it’s websites for fixing your credit score or debt relief. Today I was playing the game and I didn’t even touch the bottom and it kept sending these links to safari, I didn’t pay attention because I’ll clear them out later. Thankfully I went and looked prior to my son wanting to look up something on my phone. I see different pages on my phone that were porn sites, and there were several of them. I couldn’t believe that the links at the bottom of the game are for porn sites, kids can play these games!!! I deleted the game since I don’t want my son to want to play the game and sends him to a porn site!!!!

so I just want to put this out there, this game slays! It has no adds and it’s super easy to play, my daughter has spent hours on hours playing this game and I see a change in her, now she’s cleaning her room when I don’t ask her to and doing chores, I wanted to see what was going on because it was unusual for her to do stuff without asking. So I went on the game and started playing, and now I see a change in myself, if you or anyone in your household plays this game in there free time, they will do more chores and many more things, I 100% recommend this game

I rarely write reviews, but the new update may have faults…unless my eyes just aren’t seeing what the programming does. Sometimes the pieces I’m getting give me no way to continue.

Before I offloaded the game my highest score was at least 30,000, now I can barely break 2,000 and my highest is 4,513. I know sometimes I miscalculate, but it seems like I’m alwaysgiven the ‘T’, ‘U’ and ‘+’ pieces when I have nowhere to put them.

Also, it would be cool if the game had different looks, for lack of a better word, like some of the ads I’ve seen on Instagram. I had the game before I saw the ad, so I knew it was nothing like it.

The game is an easy 5 star but with the recent update I had to give it a 4 star. I loved the game because it was satisfying and I knew that it is a great game to help me cope with my anxiety and distract me from everything else that is going on! Here’s why I gave it a 4 star though, first, the voice changed to a guy and it scared me and now he’s very anoying and very much not a comfort to me at all. Second, the creators added more block pieces to make it easier and it sounds good but to me it made me feel like I wasn’t doing as good as I should’ve because I beat my high score on the game and it made me feel like Idk the challenge is now wayyy too easy.

The game was better with the challenge as everyone is telling you. The adds are crazy long and when they take over my phone I have no use to even try the game they are selling. I’ve waited more than 30 minutes and still have to reboot my device?

Unfortunately I finally deleted the game. I don’t mind adds but when it takes control of my phone and I have to reboot my phone to get out of the add , that’s asking a little to much of me.

Hopefully you will fix these issues and post it so I can download this fun and relaxing game.

I enjoy playing this game but there are waaaaay too many ads in it!! I beat a level? I have to watch an ad. I couldn’t beat a level? Still have to watch an ad! Can’t move forward in any way without dealing with these annoying ads constantly! And most of them, as of April 2023, are for a stupid game called Royal Match. I’ve actually tried Royal Match and didn’t like it. It’s nowhere near as interesting as the ads make it seem. It’s a boring and irritating game. If you could make it possible for players to turn off all the ads, I’d be willing to pay $3 or $5 to see NO MORE ADS! That’s how much I hate the constant ads, this really makes the game much less enjoyable.

It’s a good game. I can just say this game is addicting, simple, and very fun and satisfying. Also I need to say that I appreciate that the game’s ads don’t make it completely entirely unplayable, But at some point during the game, it all becomes luck based and the game will give you random blocks where there will no longer
be a logical way to to fit in the tiles in adventure and classic mode. You can’t rotate the tiles to fit elsewhere. Why do they give players tiles that don’t fit their board??? It makes no sense??? Once you lose, you get punished by having to watch an ad before going to the next round. That’s all very annoying, and unfair, and not the players fault.

I love this game! However, the ads are often too long and/or frustrating to close. I’ve had to go back and forth between two screens in the ad six or seven times before the ad closes and let’s me back to my game. I just had to delete BlockBlast and reinstall it because a lawn ad would not close and it would only allow me to shop - which I’m not interested in doing. I understand the ads are necessary but I should not have to do this to continue my game.

This game is so fun and I pull it up whenever I’m bored. It never gets boring and the designs and animations are incredible. However, after every game, there is a commercial. I thought that if you didn’t click the “reprise” button, then you wouldn’t have to watch an ad! But boy was I wrong!!! I had to watch an ad anyways, and the audacity of the commercials! They would not let me skip! I am very disappointed in how many commercials this game has produced but the game itself is wonderful. If anyone who is in corporation of this game is reading this review, please let some of the ads go.

At first I really liked this game but recently a few updates seemed to have made the game impossible to enjoy. Too often the game ends quickly because it literally gave you pieces that forced you to fill up the board and the end your game because the next 3 sets of pieces have nowhere to go. My usual strategies are not working since the recent updates. Doesn’t make watching the ads worth it. I’d rather pay for a version where I can play for a long time and score higher. Also, the game often have an ad interrupt the entire screen or click out to a different app while you are in the process of placing a block down. You get what you pay for the guess.

I enjoy playing and really love the game, but the ads for Royal Match & Garden Scapes make it difficult to play. Each one takes 45-50 seconds without being able to close out. Even after that time you cannot exit out and it repeats more advertisement. Royal Match interrupts my game to convince me to download their game because it has no ads. I’m about ready to give up the two games I play the most because I spend more time waiting between plays than I do playing the game. SO UNFAIR!!!!
If you can do something about that, it really is a 5 star game.

The game is amazing and for quite a while I’ve been entranced by the game. The fact there was no in app purchase was a breath of fresh air. The ads weren’t terrible and the game time was not to badly affected. However what’s taken place over the last few months is horrible. Minutes of ads repeatedly and obnoxiously. Even if the game play is interrupted with leaving BlockBlast , before play will resume - you guest it Ads!! Horribly multi level, multi screen ads …. The game is just not worth the time it takes away from you while waiting to want to play. Was a great thing killed by what I can only presume is greed. Hope you made a mint. But because of that, for me anyway, your 5 star game gets only 1 star rating. Just my opinion

i recommend reading reviews about problems with the game instead of reading reviews about of the game is amazing. block blast is a fun game that doesnt require wifi, so its a great game to play on airplanes (if the aircraft doesnt have wifi) or on roadtrips or in the car if you dont have data. it makes sense that as you get further into the game it gets progressively harder, but it is pretty irritating when youre getting a high score and it gives you pieces that you cannot work with whatsoever. yes there is a revive button but you have to watch an ad, which makes sense but there are already so many ads. its pretty annoying when all of the ads are the same long ones. it gives you so many royal match ads that are pretty long. but there is one specific ad that i have been getting recently and it only has an X button sometimes. Tiki Solitaire, is the name of the game im pretty sure and like i said before it doesnt always have an X button so i am having to close BlockBlast then open it. those are my only irritations/problems with this game so just know that before getting BlockBlast . it is free to download so your not wasting any money on it. i love this game and its an amazing game to play when youre bored. thanks for reading!! 💕🌴

I am new to this game and I believe I am going to enjoy it. However those constant ads for other games are ruining my game. More time is spent on these numerous ads than I spend on my new game. If there is a way to get rid of, cancel, or eliminate these ads, I would greatly appreciate it.

I am now UNABLE to play this game. It has been overtaken by stupid ads. I would be willing to pay to remove them (I paid $10. To Scramble to remove these annoying ads). Otherwise, I might have to stop playing with your game since these ads make it impossible to enjoy playing.

I honestly feel like the developers for this game are blatantly ignoring the MANY reviews asking for an ad free version. you’re going to absolutely kill this games market by not giving an ad free version that users could pay for to rid of. if i have to sit through another minute + ad where i have to also PLAY it in order to rid of it i’ll scream. i’ve sent emails to no avail and I’m seeing that this has been an issue for months (possibly years) now. you guys are obviously refusing to present an ad free version because you make good profit from it but PLEASE CARE ABOUT THE CONSUMERS WHO ARE PLAYING AND WILL SOON HATE THIS GAME BECAUSE OF THEM. I. AM. TIRED. other than that, very enjoyable game. just hate the ads terribly. idek how its legal that you can make someone watch minute long ads over and over.

Okay, so i genuinely enjoy playing this game. the concept is fun and it’s a great way to pass time. however, this game has one massive drawback i’ve noticed that is so frustrating. there are certain shapes it will give you at the beginning that once you pass about 500 in score won’t give you any more. i’m talking about the single squares and diagonal squares that would save me so many rounds if i got them at later rounds. the game will start giving you shapes around the 1500 score that will auto fail you. highest i’ve ever gotten is 5300. i also would pay for an add free version if they had it but they don’t. i hate watching ads.

The only way I could see the picture is by looking in a window of a mirror in a mirror in a window in a mirror and see what the sun looks at the same way it is on a window and then I see what it is in a window that looks different than what I saw on my phone and I can’t really tell if it’s the light or the light or not because I can’t really picture the whole picture because it’s so close together but it doesn’t really make any difference in my picture and the picture looks different so it’s just the same thing so it doesn’t really different but it’s like the light and the picture doesn’t really make sense yuyuu

This is such a fun game! However, the ads and adventures are not all kid-appropriate. I see no option to remove the ads or buy a paid version. I messaged tech support and have not received a reply in weeks. Sexually explicit games are often advertised on BlockBlast. BlockBlast also warns of adventure content, although I’ve not come across this issue yet. So disappointing as I’d love to support the game itself. I just don’t want my children viewing the ads or portions of the game with adult content. Why does a block game need to be anything besides a simple, fun, clean game? I only give it 2 stars because, despite the fun of the game - I really can’t enjoy it with my family. Definitely room to improve. Offer an ad-free version or choose age-appropriate ads so all-ages can enjoy the game.

Okay so I don’t usually write reviews but I feel this is needed to be said. I use to have an iPhone 6 that was old but it was better than nothing. I downloaded BlockBlast and played it FOREVER. It was the only game I played and since I didn’t have service on my phone(I do now) I used to play this for long car rides and stuff like that. But one day I was at my aunts playing this game and it froze completely. It stayed froze for a good 10 seconds until coming unfrozen and crashing. My high score didn’t save. I was frustrated and I didn’t play it again til the next day. The next night I was playing it and my whole entire phone was frozen. It wouldn’t unfreeze. It was stuck frozen for 1 whole hour until it finally reset. I deleted BlockBlast immediately. After a few months I got a new phone and wanted to download BlockBlast again. I haven’t had any problems but lags and ads. The ads are a big problem too. The ads are after every single game. I usually ignore the ads by exiting out of the game completely. Other then all of that it’s a good game.

I really enjoy playing this game. I understand your need to have ads, even though there’s anywhere b/t 1.5 -2 mins after each level (and leeks are short)
I’m okay w- that bc I’m not paying.

What drives me crazy is the loud ads that you can Not turn off. By “turn off” I mean, play w- your phones power button turned Off so the ads won’t blare out if you’re playing in a public place or while in bed. Even w- my phone shut off, the loud ads still blast into the silence. Sometimes you can’t even shut them off when they start playing & if you close out the game, the add will STILL continue playing.
What’s up with that? Please fix this.

I really like this game. It’s uncommon for me to like a game of this style too, but it really is one of those mindless, relaxing, play it when you can, fun games. The challenges push me to beat every level and I find myself mentally strategizing to fit the shapes. I like it a lot. BUT - I don’t see a way to opt out of ads! The ads are ruthless and happen in between every level. I find it so annoying. When I tried to see if I could purchase an ad-free experience - nothing. There’s no option to. Idk if the developers get more money from the ads this way, but I hate it. I’d seriously consider making the game ad-free optional because at some point, I’m going to find a better experience with another app.

So I have played this about a month so far and I have made to level 36 in adventure mode. I have played fairly casually, just once a day during a regular break. The game play is easy to understand and learn. Graphics are nice for blocks.. easy to see and appealing. I don’t listen to music or have sound on so can’t remark on that. The game play is smooth and no issues that I have come across. Some levels are a decent challenge but I like that you always start over on that level so you can remember where you messed up before. There are ads but not excessively or annoyingly, unlike many many games out there. All in all I highly recommend this block puzzle game for anyone looking for something to pass the time or just to relax playing. Wish more games were like this.

Very good and simple game that helps kill time, it gets that done. The ads are basically un-escapable yet there’s this random black screen like almost a pop up that appears out of nowhere as if I clicked on a pop up which I have not and it’ll remain on there. I’ll close and reopen and that takes care of it yet as time passed the black screen now pops up more frequently and quicker, I used to go a few rounds without seeing it but now it just pops up in about seconds after opening BlockBlast and this made me delete this. I have an iPhone 14 pro max, there’s no way is my phone. Other than that and the ads with no Xs to escape from or long time frames before it moves on to another add which makes me close and reopen which is quicker, everything else is decent.

I like this game. I don’t think it’s totally like the ad I saw for it, but it’s an good game to waste time playing. My major issue with this game is the ads 🙄 I know that free games have ads to make revenue, but there are so many ads that it drives me nuts. If you’re playing the game and get a text message that you want to reply to, when you come back to the game you will be greeted by an ad 😡 this game has adventures, where you have to compete a certain number of puzzles within a timeframe. After each puzzle there is an ad. Some of the puzzles only require you to collect a couple gems, so you may play the game for a few seconds and then get an ad, after that ad you go back to the game and play for less than a minute and get another ad. I’d be willing to pay for the game to avoid the ads.

This game would be great. However, in adventure mode after a certain number of rounds (not sure exactly how many) the game will intentionally give you combinations of pieces that make it impossible to win that level until you play it a few times. I’m sure this is designed to maximize revenue, as every time you lose you are forced to watch an ad. For example, after playing 9 levels on adventure round, the next level “forced” me to fail 4 times before it gave me pieces that even made that level possible, and I had to watch 4 ads as a result. (Or at least close and reopen BlockBlast to avoid the ad). I know you can’t really complain about it if it’s free, but at least be transparent about the gameplay being situationally rigged.

I'm deleting because of the ad, not the ads in the game, but the ad for the game. The ads in the game are just like any other add funded free game. You play, you watch an add. Fair trade. My gripe is with the ad for this game. It shows a different game- Tetris with a lot of lines. I downloaded it because I want to play that game. So I got suckered. Bait and switch. It's ok, I tell myself, because it's still a decent game. And then I see the ads and the game I wanted to play and I remember that I was suckered. And the creator advertises aggressively, so I'm constantly reminded that I was suckered. BTW, what's the point in showing a game you don't offer? Why not actually offer that game? Maybe that version of the game doesn't offer enough opportunity for ad exposure? Frustrated, I'm deleting the game. There are plenty of good free games that don't remind me I'm a sucker.

I love this game a lot. I play basically every single day I have time very fun in concept. Very colorful very engaging especially for my ADHD needs but I do have some issue with this game… i’ve only gotten a high score of around 5640 to one time now and seems like I can’t even get past level 3742 no matter what it’s like the game just doesn’t want me to win anymore it’s very frustrating as I really enjoy it and I keep on coming back every time and hope that someday I’ll match that same score that I originally got but never do I seem to get that score… It’s very disappointing and it hurts me. I’m literally at the brink of tears right now because I can’t even seem to get past my original point bracket. as soon as I get past 2746 the game begins giving me very unuseful blocks that will never even fit in the first place. It’s like they just want me to lose that’s not fair. Each time I end up getting one of those weird Z shaped blocks or long L block it always will give me an item I would never have any use for please developers make the game have an easy mode or something I just can’t take it anymore. Anyways, I’m going back to play the game now please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

Me and my family have just found ou my granfpa has been diagnosed with leukemia. A type of blood cancer. We found out he can only cure it with a bone marrow transplant with only a 85% chance. It sounds like no worry but 15% chance of him not making it. I have been crying for so long and can’t barely stop. One of my favorite people in my life going might pass away soon?! Anyway then I see BlockBlast. It looks like one of those fake save the king games but when I downloaded it. I was SOOOOOOOO Wrong. It was my favorite stress reliever. The vibrant colors and cool animations with the adventure mode is so fun to play. The only thing the devs need to fix is the # of ads I get an 30 sec nonskippable ad and I get annoyed from it so devs of the game please shorten the ads.

The only way I could do that was if you wanted me too I could come and pick it out and then I would just go ahead with it because I’m not going anywhere else I just want to get it done before you leave so that you don’t get it all done before the weekend and you don’t need to worry and then you could come back later on if that’s the best you could come to the store and I would be happy if I did come home with you but you know that you would be more than welcome and you would have more money for the trip if I could have it I just don’t want you to be here and I would be here to go get it was a lot easier for me and I’m just gonna have you guys to do whatever it would make you feel good luck I don’t care about that too but I’m sorry for being a lot better and I’ll

I just downloaded this game over the weekend and it’s a fun quick little game. However, there are a ridiculous number of often lengthy ads to watch like every other game. It feels like I spend more time watching ads than actually playing the game and I’m already annoyed in just a short time. What’s more annoying for me personally, is that I often play games like this while listening to an audiobook on my phone, and the frequent ads are disruptive because you can’t even mute all of them, so they stop my audiobook a lot of the time. Maybe if there was one ad ever 5 or 6 games it would be more tolerable, but it is excessive at this point.

I don’t see an option to pay a one time fee of a couple dollars to go ad free, but would be interested in this, because I will likely burn out on this game quickly because of the ads.

I’ve been playing this game for the greater part of 2023 after a friend had suggested it for me. I use a VPN on my phone so I’m not subjected to the insane amount of ads I’m seeing tons of other reviewers being frustrated by. HOWEVER what I realized today is when doing the Adventure side, this game regularly gives you pieces that don’t fit anywhere just to make you lose and have to watch the ads. It doesn’t give you all the pieces you would get on the Classic side (the 3x2 is basically nonexistent in Adventure). AND the game will you the exact same piece over and over and over again in a row. I went back to playing Classic during Thanksgiving and had completely forgotten about certain pieces/shapes because I’d been Adventure for several months. Classic definitely feels more random (*cough* not rigged *cough*) and fair. Deleting BlockBlast.

I love this game. Genuinely. I play it all the time and love it when I *do* get to play. What I mean by this is the game has too many ads with no option to pay to remove them. I watch an ad when I beat a challenge, I watch an ad when I need to revive myself, I watch an ad if I switch to another app and return to this one to continue playing. There are wayyyyy too many ads. There are whole reddit posts about this. Dear developers: I WILL PAY FOR THIS GAME IF YOU DON’T MAKE ME SIT THROUGH ANOTHER ADVERTISEMENT!!! I’ve also read a ton of complaints online about this and others that are willing to pay too so we don’t gave to sit through another ad about a game that’s not even what you see in the ad to begin with. I’ve literally never asked to pay for a game, but please for the sake of having some wasted time in my life back- let us pay for an ad-free version of this game.

I would like to say that in the ad, it is like a Tetris game. But, when I first got it, I was like, “This game is a lot like the game Blockudoku.” I was not that thrilled with this game anymore. It is almost way too easy and I just got his game about 4 days ago. I wish it was more like the ad to where there is a timer and the block rise as the timer goes down and you have to try to fit in the blocks into the gaps to make the block go down so that it does not reach the top. Please make this game more fun because I have deleted it and I am keep playing Blockudoku which is way more fun to me because it has challenges like daily challenges, and holiday challenges. So, anyone who reads this, understand that this game is just a simple plain old block game that is nothing like Tetris, Blockudoku, etc.

This game has quickly become one of my favorites. The ads, however, make it unplayable sometimes. Open the game? Ad. Between levels? Ad. Have to start the level over? Ad. Have to step away for a moment and the screen locks? Ad. I get it — a free game needs some way to make revenue. But 98% of the ads cut off the sound of whatever I’m listening to and make it to where I can’t just swipe down and resume playing my book or music. I have to leave the game to restart it and then half the time I get another ad! I’d love an option to pay a couple bucks to get rid of them — it would be worth it. Or even just make it to where the ads don’t cut out the sound of whatever the phone is already playing.

The game is fun and I love the classic and adventure modes. The ads between levels are sporadic, but just often enough to be annoying. When you almost lose a level and can watch an ad to be back in with a possible save, those I can understand. When I close BlockBlast before the ad comes, and I reopen BlockBlast the next day or some other time, I have to sit through an ad before I can play. I would love an ad-free version. Where I only have to watch an ad if I need to revive a level. I’m honestly so sick of ads to Royal Match and if the ads didn’t open with sound on, that’d be great. I’m often playing in a waiting room or somewhere it’s inappropriate to have sound up.

Played this for awhile, and then the ads started. And not just an interruption for 10-15 seconds—LONG ads, ads that take 3,4, 5 clicks indicating I’m not interested before they finally go away; ads that last a minute or longer. Ads that are obviously of the mindset that if they show just one more screen begging me to download it, I will. Ads that refuse to accept that I don’t want what they’re selling.

The game itself is ok, but just ok. It would be much better if the user could rotate the pieces (perhaps that capability is available in higher levels, but I’m not going to sit through the mind-numbing ads to get there.) Life is too short to have to deal with this.

I get that ads are necessary in today’s world, but developers should have requirements before inserting them in their games. Limits on the duration and the number of ‘not interested’ clicks required before they go away. Seems like the advertisers are running the show.

The problem with BlockBlast is the INCESSANT number of ads. Between every single level, you have to watch an ad.

If you lose, you watch a 60 second ad.

If you want to revive yourself when you run out of space, they force you to watch an extra long ad where you have to sit through the initial ad, click the X button, watch ANOTHER ad for the same product, click the arrows, wait until a sample of the game play pops up and stare at it for 10-20 seconds before the X appears, click that, then BlockBlast Store link pops up and you have to click “Done”, then you have to wait a good 15 more seconds before the last X button finally appears in the corner and you can continue the level.

Even if you WIN and beat the level, they still force you to watch yet another ad!

I spent maybe 15% of my time on actual gameplay and the rest was watching ads for stupid apps I will now make a point to NOT download out of spite.

The other issue I have with this is that they market it as a “Tetris-style” game, but it’s nothing like Tetris aside from the shape of the blocks. There are literally dozens of other games just like it with different names. Do yourselves a favor, stick with one of the others. BlockBlast is just one giant commercial disguised as a game.

To summarize: false advertising + ad abuse = Block Blast just lost a user.

So..
When I first got the game it was fun but I noticed that the game seemed to conveniently give me the exact pieces I needed to get high scores.
It was kind of fun and just a good break every now and then to play it but what you start noticing is that the game will increasingly do is give you the opposite pieces as to what you need in order to wreck your game but what’s this?
They give you an option to revive your game if you’ll only watch more ads so there’s an incentive for the AI to only let you get so far unless you watch their ads.
Don’t waste your time with this nonsense.
Most of these ad related games are like this.
They either force you to watch awful ads which you never want to see or inject a pay to win element to them.
Now, I’m not against paying for stuff but only if it adds substance to the game which ofc it almost never does it is WAY over priced.
I play Conan exiles and the paid content was always meh when it was priced decently and now that they’ve finally given us some nice content they put it behind a VERY expensive pay wall and it’s just ridiculous.
The stupid thing is that it’s electronic content which means they’d likely generate more revenue if they charged less and could easily charge less and make plenty.

I really do enjoy this game however the ads ARE RIDICULOUS. second once your score gets to around 2,000 they start to make it very hard for you to stay in the game on purpose, and i know games are supposed to work like this but they start to make it impossible and give blocks that were never intended to fit no matter what strategy you use because then the game ends and it makes you watch an ad right after and it makes you continue playing. good luck getting a score over 5,000 because they intentionally make it virtually impossible, but honestly i’ve been trying to find a new app similar because BlockBlast doesn’t let you get high scores because it will give you puzzzles that are quite litterally impossible to solve regardless of the strategies you use.

While this game is fun, it is not the game advertised. This game you have a square grid that you fill in with Tetris shapes. Your goal is to simply clear lines of blocks that you have put together. You get bonus points if you can clear align within three moves. Added to your combo number. or another style is basically the same thing, what do you have certain objectives that you need to do to clear a level

The reason I say it’s not advertise is that what’s advertise is a huge Texas game. Nowhere have I seen that. Enjoy the game or not. But this company did the same thing. Most other companies are doing false advertising of their game. Disappointed I was looking forward to, the game that was played in the ad. Haven’t decided if I’m keeping it or not.

I have downloaded and installed many game apps the past few years. Literally 100dreds. only turn around and delete them immediately after the first two-three minutes of playing them. Weather it was the extreme amount of adds or just knowing immediately it's not what was advertised. This is different. Yes , there are adds. Not nearly as many as most games. And your not sitting around waiting on 2-3 minutes of adds. It's one short 15 -30 sec add. And it's only when you have exhausted your options and lost or completed your level.
But the best thing about this game is that it's fun to play, it's challenging and it's addictive. When I am waiting on my mom or wife to get finished with there appointments this is my go to.

This game is so fun to play when you need to pass time. I love how you don’t have to drop the blocks to the bottom, like Tetris, therefore is easier, but still challenging and fun.
The only thing I would like to change about BlockBlast, would be to make less ads. When you first download it, there are like no ads at all, which was great. As you keep on playing, it starts to put in more ads. Now, after every game I play, there is an ad.
Watching an ad is fine for me, I get that people need some way to get people to download their game. But sometimes I think it’s unnecessary to have too many ands. In this case, I think It’s too many.
However, despite the ads, it is still very fun, and I would definitely recommend getting BlockBlast.

I like the game but having to sit through all the ads is like scraping nails on a chalkboard. I though if I downloaded the other ads/games they would go away….WRONG…still have to sit through ads galore just now instead of downloading requests its “open and play” on the screen for 3 minutes showing examples of how to play before being able to restart a level it’s so boring but I do like the game but if ads don’t shorten up and only play every few loses I will delete it…hate to do it but I literally spend more time watching ads than playing the game. Well as soon as I wrote up this review. It now has a bit that after about 5-10 seconds you can tap top left corner to fast forward and then a x on the right to close. Idk if it’s that way for everyone or because I have downloaded all the ad games but don’t play them just stored in a folder but still taking memory of my phone having them there so I may try and delete them. see if the ability to still skip ad after a few seconds is there. If not back to downloading bc like I said I love the game but HUGE waste of time if have to watch 2-3 minute ads

The game is great and fun but I can’t deal with the ads anymore so ill be uninstalling. I wanted to leave a review and hopefully the developers will take into consideration all the complaints and reduce them length of ads. From ads that just play for 2-3 minutes to ads that hide the X out option under graphics it’s ruining the experience. I own a large Facebook page and we have advertisers to pay the bills. I get it. But there is no reason to make the ads that long. You are losing people’s attention and like myself ultimately deleting the game. Your advertisers would get more views by running quick short ads under 20 seconds by keeping ads short and the potential customer engaged. Making a user watch 4-6 minutes of ads on every break and expecting them not to get tired of it is laughable and a bad business practice. Ill check back in a few months and see if you guys took the reviews serious. Id even pay a few bucks to remove the ads. However I do not think that is your business plan here. By running ling ads you are lowering your audience and not GROWING your audience at the pace you could. You get the idea.

First I just want to say I do enjoy playing this game, however I downloaded it because of ads that I have seen for it on some of my other games, but the ads show gameplay that is literally NOTHING like the games on BlockBlast. The ads show a Tetris style game with a large screen full of blocks where you can rotate the blocks to fit. There is literally no game in BlockBlast like that. I have played all three game options in BlockBlast and none of them allow you to rotate the pieces plus the screen size only has space for a small number of blocks, not the full screen of block space, like in the ads.

It would also be nice to have an ad-free,
paid version available , as I am very tired of having to watch ads just to play the next level and would gladly pay a few dollars to get eid of them. Thanks!

I downloaded BlockBlast thinking it was going to be as Tetris which was advertised to me several times in other apps. Upon download I was greeted with an entirely different type of game experience where you have to fill in the cube with blocks and don’t actually play Tetris. Then when you fail levels it will prompt you with a button to watch an AD to get revived. Several times when I don’t click it after the timer runs out, I’m still prompted with an AD. I don’t really see the point in showing me an AD after I specifically didn’t click the button to get revived for an AD. Might as well have revived me instead of just making me restart after the ad which I didn’t click for. This game could have potential, but with the amount of ads it shows and the false advertising it’s no good.

But in a different way. Many have said that this game has too many ads. I must start out though first by saying that I really love the game. It is addictive—in a fun way. I’ve actually become pretty good at it. Whenever I like a game this much, I can live with ads. However, there comes that time when the number of ads and the length of them and the frequency of them outweigh the pleasure of playing the game. This happens when I find myself waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting for the a long ad to play—one that requires you to try it out before it will move to the next 15 seconds of hawking. My normal technique of swiping up and quitting the game, and then just launching it again doesn’t work for this game because it will just start the ad all over again at the beginning or where it was when I swiped up. I’ve reached that point with this game—the ads have overwhelmed this game. I’m uninstalling it.

This game overall is a decent game. It’s a really fun game that is a good time-waister. The only issues- a couple glitches and the ads, just a little annoying and excessive. First off, when I go to place a block, there’s a slight chance it will glitch. Sometimes it will freeze and put it in the wrong place and it’s pretty annoying. Second, if I get game over and hover a piece over a certain spot, it appears in that spot in the next game. So honestly they’re not that bad but if this game’s corporate can fix this than it would be great. Lastly, the ads. There are a lot. I usually click out of the game when I get ads but you get an ad every time you lose and every time you restart which is pretty annoying eventually. So if you’re fine with all of this, it’s a great game and you should try it.

This game is not Tetris. Unlike Tetris, this game has a smaller field, and you can drag and drop the pieces like a puzzle. It also gives you three pieces at a time instead of one. You have to use all three pieces, but you can use them in any order you want. This game will get boring long term, but it is really good to have, whenever you have a minute to relax. I have a couple games that are tycoon games, great for really quit moments when you just need to upgrade things, a couple games with levels, better for long term, a version of flappy bird, for playing when you don’t know how long you will be able to play, and this puzzle game. Block blast completes my collection. You got to have a puzzle game. Just download it, ok? Just do it.

In the ad for this game, it claims that it is like Tetris. However, when you download it, it’s nothing like Tetris. It’s kinda like the game Woodoku except for some reason better. And speaking of advertising, they do that wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much. Take it a notch down on the ads (maybe like one ad every three games), and stop false advertising. If someone thought this was Tetris and downloaded it to be disappointed, it’s very unlikely that they keep BlockBlast . So please, NO FALSE ADVERTISING! Note: I just found out that if you go to settings and press other games, you can play a game that’s very similar to Tetris. The only difference is that they only use straight block shapes what I mean by that is that it’s just squares and rectangles. but it’s still false advertising so yeah.

I’m having trouble with ads in the middle of the game starting to jerk and flash then it takes over and it won’t let me go back to the game. Usually if I leave the game for at least half an hour or so I can return and play again. However, last night it did that again and locked the game up. I went back in this morning and it’s still locked up. I don’t get any more blocks to play. The worst ad is Candy Crush. I finally gave up and deleted BlockBlast . I’m hoping I can redownload the game and be able to play again. I usually play adventure. I wish you had a land set up where you could go from one adventure to another instead of waiting on the next one to come out. Other than these things it’s my favorite game.

Block blast is a really fun game. The adventures, are really fun and hard challenges. Although most of the ads I see for this game are not 1,000% correct. The ads say that the game is where you drop the blocks but in reality you have three blocks and then you choose one to set down then you put down the other two, you keep doing this until you run out of space. Every time a row or column gets all the spaces full then it gets rid of that row, you get more and more points to try to get your high score. Though there are no levels so you kinda just free play. When playing this it gets a little annoying because there are so many ads, they are like 2-3 minute ads. In conclusion this game is very fun and I would recommend this game for people who like a little challenge.

I downloaded block blast because of a friend and at first I wasn’t too into it but as I started playing the more and more I became obsessed. I love block blast so much it has started to take over my life. Late at night what am I doing? Playing block blast. Hanging out somewhere what am I doing on my phone? Block blast. I’m sitting in class and I’m seeing block blast blocks thinking of different blocks and they ways I can put them together. I see the different blocks in normal everyday things thinking of which blocks fit into where. No matter where I am, what I’m doing, I think of block blast. I love block blast it’s very entertaining and the ads aren’t too bad and I’m one to delete an app because of ads. Definitely recommend this game because it’s very fun, very relaxing.
