Photos always rejected by Passport agency

I got this app in the hope of getting the perfect passport photo. It was difficult to find somewhere with a plain white background and the software does attempt to take out the background and replace but didn’t do the job 100% and you could see that the photo had been altered around the edges. After 3 attempts and getting the photo rejected I just made a bigger effort to find a plain white background and the photo was approved for the passport

Very suspicious about privacy policy and terms of use, can’t access these docs on their website. This app did a poor job at creating white background pics needed. Many retakes required, sometimes parts of shirts are whited out in error. Can’t delete pics from the app. Can’t access photos taken without an active subscription- even if you had an active subscription when the photos were taken.
Not accepted for U.S. passport

I tried many photographs, all of which meet the U.S. passport photo requirements and none of them worked. There were issues with the image files. I reported this to the app and they failed to even answer my requests for assistance. I hope others have better experiences.
