It used to work?

When I first downloaded FindtheNote it worked and now it doesn’t. The mic is on in my settings but FindtheNote doesn’t work. I’ve tried increasing the volume of my piano but that doesn’t work either. Please fix this.

No list of notes recorded

When you hit record and play music, the notes come up on the screen, but it does not keep a record of the notes that were played. So, you have to either memorize or take screenshots for a record of the notes that were played. FindtheNote really does need a feature where it records the notes that it has detected.

Works but could be better

FindtheNote works in finding the notes but there should be settings to change how it works. It’s hard to determine what note your actually playing because the note switches clefs sometimes. I also would like a instrument setting so you know what pitch/note you are looking for.

Good for general use

FindtheNote is great so long as you have a normal register but it gets really confused if you drop into octave 0. works well for most notes though.

Great Idea!

this is a great idea, and FindtheNote works OK. But it has one small problem: there is no way to adjust the sensitivity of the microphone.. so when it’s quiet, FindtheNote thinks it detects input.

I would suggest to add a way to adjust the microphone sensitivity , so that background noises, or quiet sequences are not detected as notes

My Wsage of Find a Note App

I’ll use it when I am manually converting a song recording to sheet music

Needs Alto clef

A handy little app to have. I play Viola and a little disappointed that it does not provide for alto clef. But Violists are used to being forgotten and neglected. 😞 I’ll take it up to 5 stars if you add alto clef. 🙏

Nice app but could use improvements

It would be cool if you could scan sheet music and it would tell you what notes they were. Pretty good app just is basic.

PERFECT!! Exactly what I was, looking for!!!

I wish I could pay for FindtheNote! I’ve tried quite a few apps and even paid thinking it would at least have the function, but they’re all these singing lessons etc. They would play a chord for me to sing to. Ugh!!!

Then I get this, and it is literally the exact thing I was looking for. Simple. Does exactly what it says it will do. And is completely free. Completely. Which makes me want to give this developer my coin even more!

Great app to find the note

Awesome app, easy to use and very accurate, highly recommend

Very cool and useful tool!

I downloaded to find the time of my singing bowl! It was matched at 369 hz! Also have been using it to track the keys I sing in ! It’s so much fun!

Works great

It does exactly what I hoped it would do and for free I would pay extra if it had quizzes for my son and which notes to play on the piano

Great app

More than does a great job- super easy and ready to use once you open it. Highly recommend.

Totally awesome glad I found it

It does exactly what it says it does. It listens and tells you what not it is. I was able to put a note to each tongue on my steel drum. Amazing.

PHENOMENAL

now let me tell you something this isn’t just a regular old record yourself and figure out the note app. No, this is top-of-the-line first class premium usage software that will get you everywhere. You need to go when I booted this up for the first time I was not prepared nor even ready for the amount of excitement I would have with FindtheNote. I am more beyond pleased highly recommend to use while…drunk?

Helping Me Learn.

I’m learning to sight read and play the piano. FindtheNote hears a note, sung or played, identifies the pitch, names it as a note on the standard musical scale, and displays the position of that note on the staff (treble or bass clef). Just what I need to become fluent in the language of sheet music.

Helpful!!

I Play Piano and FindtheNote helps me a lot!! I am trying to match the tune of a song to the piano melody all by myself, so FindtheNote REALLY helps! I hum the note I am looking for, and FindtheNote instantly tells me where it is!! FindtheNote is so useful and there are no paid purchases/ads!!

GREAT APP!!

Exactly what I wanted

Im practicing singing Plug in Baby by Muse, a song with a decently high falsetto I've been trying to hit, and I've been using online guitar tuners to see if I hit the F5#. The website I use broke down so I went on a hunt and downloaded FindtheNote. Beyond my expectations. No ads and does exactly as it shows and I couldn't be happier! It also shows the visual note which I like. Good app, 5/5 stars deserved.

It helps me recognize my notes when I sing

When I was searching for a while for a app that can recognize notes because I was having trouble finding my notes during singing. I would wish for a similar app like this but can identify what type of singing is it and how to improve it. Other than that request this is a great yet simple app that can be easily used any day.

So far so good!

Just installed FindtheNote. Used a few times. Seems accurate. Time will tell.
