I’ve thought about whether or not to write this. But I think it’s important for those to know if they’re interested in dating. I appreciate MyTransgenderDate ’s effort to weed out scammers. However, as I was told by support, MyTransgenderDate is only for trans women who are fully transitioned. If you are beginning, nonbinary, or unable to pass, you will be flagged as having a “gay-looking photo” and they will close your account permanently. As someone at the start of my transition, hearing this was extremely disheartening and invalidating. And it’s bothered me for the last two months as I’ve tried to enter the dating world as a transitioning woman who doesn’t pass very well. I am happy for those who have met the threshold to be allowed on MyTransgenderDate and have had positive experiences. But for those of us who aren’t fully transitioned, I don’t think I’ve ever felt as hurt by my own community as when I was rejected by this one. If you’re like me, don’t give up if you’re rejected here. Hopefully someday an app will exist that serves the full spectrum of the trans community.

The pay wall discourages younger men from using MyTransgenderDate . This is frustrating because as a 23yo transgender woman, I don’t want old men who triple my age messaging me, it’s creepy and not at all what I’m interested in. The young 18-30 male population is basically non existent. Better luck on Grindr

99.9% of the profiles are fake and everyone is a scammer

Its regulator often give you a really bad time as a user, don’t have criteria about their own rules. Arbitrary management

I have been on MyTransgenderDate almost 3 months and I keep sending people messages but know single reply,most of the people I sent messages to are always active online,is it that my messages is not seen or not delivered......I want the issue resolve asap ok

MyTransgenderDate works fine but it’s just full of pitty cases, I would rather recommend a cam site or something the sort. The $30 you pay a month only gets you inactive accounts, trans women telling you they want to be respected but in the same breath offering to sell you naked pics. The site covers the whole world but based on the Philippines you’re only option is to financially support the trans women living with 4 roommates, in one case support my 5 siblings who happen to be my age. My advice take the trip, get as much tail as you can because nun are wife material and thanks to social media 🤑it’s just what can I get out of you. Medical bills, surgeries, food, a place to get out the elements, and all from so called business owners.

People will find your personal info and blackmail you through many different ways. The sites/apps are not secured at all and people hack into MyTransgenderDate to get everything you’ve ever done through your phone or any electronic you own or connected too. Beware!

i have to be doing something wrong or MyTransgenderDate is missing a few buttons . the only people who show up local are people i probably wouldn’t date but that’s fine bc the only contact with anyone is wayyy off .

MTD has been the best site for serious dating with trans women for a decade already. So happy to see it’s still growing in popularity and has an easy-to-use app. Mods are really strict and crack down on scammers and the like. Support is friendly and will be more than happy to refund longer subscriptions if you have a bad experience.

App could probably use some polish and some bug fixes but it’s already working great. It’s a huge upgrade from the browser, which works great but is slowly and unwieldy on mobile. This was a much-needed addition and I’m glad they incorporated it. Highly recommend it if you’re tired of the other sketchy dating sites out there.

Like any international dating site, you have to be careful. But I have had good dating experiences here too, & good luck finding a better site if this is your attraction. There are many real & attractive women.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this dating app deserves a shoutout. I have been able to talk and meet some amazing women on here. Most dating apps are full of scammers and fake people. I imagine there is still some of that here too, but you can tell that the moderation team has worked really hard to keep everything clean and legit. Fair warning to US based men, most of the users are international, but don't let that stop you from trying. Keep an open mind and who knows maybe you will find the love of your life locally or abroad.
